20/03/2026: There were five of us, and we ate well. The decor is very unusual, a sort of flea market style, very original. The only downside is that this morning three of us have something like stomach bugs... Perhaps there's a slight hygiene issue? In all this clutter, I wonder how they can possibly clean properly... Is it even up to code? Otherwise, the food is good, and the price is reasonable... I'm updating my review six days later; we're still sick—a nasty case of food poisoning!

03/04/2026: We just left the restaurant at 3:15 PM, but having arrived at 12:20 PM, this means my husband and I spent three hours at the table for five courses. I find this unacceptable. The meal itself was delicious, and the desserts were excellent—not too sweet and with a very pleasant touch of acidity. However, because of this excessively long wait at the table, I cannot recommend this establishment. We arrived very relaxed and left feeling stressed.

29/03/2026: Everything is very good and fresh, but be warned if you have a big appetite about the portion sizes: when they say dishes are served with potatoes and vegetables, it's a small side dish (like in a gourmet restaurant), so you'll be disappointed. Opt for dishes with fries if you're hungry. We all had to order desserts to make up for it (but they were incredible too).

25/02/2026: Passing through the area (February 25, 2026), after visiting the abbey. A very good restaurant, with a delicious, unpretentious, and inexpensive menu (lunchtime set menu). From appetizer to dessert, everything is homemade, even the bread, which is delicious.

10/03/2026: I went into this restaurant for a sweet treat. The welcome was friendly, and the waitress was attentive. The crepes were very good and a little out of the ordinary. There was a good selection of cider. The "L'Arsène" crepe—caramelized apple, salted caramel frangipane, and almond slivers—was to die for. The setting was pleasant but could use a little more coziness. I recommend it.

22/03/2026: The welcome and departure were very good, but things got complicated when it came to the service. Taking our order was fine, no complaints there, but once we were served, a waiter shouted a bit too loudly, some dishes arrived too many or not at all, there was a really long wait between courses, and the waitress wasn't very friendly and practically sighed when we politely told her that something wasn't one of our dishes. Serving a table of 12 was a bit complicated, despite a decent organization for taking each order. I think they're capable of serving tables of 6 maximum, but no more than that. The food itself was good. Perhaps we just happened to be there on a particularly stressful evening for our servers.

08/03/2026: Delighted to have discovered this little gem just a few minutes from Forges-les-Eaux! Warm atmosphere, attentive and very friendly service! High-quality cuisine; we particularly enjoyed the baked egg and the chuck roast -) All for a very reasonable price. A truly wonderful place!

06/03/2026: The lamb has a strong gamey smell; those who can tolerate that can come. Mussels are only available in July during the summer, so don't go there empty-handed. The octopus is seasoned okay, but the meat is a bit tough. The restaurant has a great atmosphere.
