27/09/2024: We had dinner and spent a perfect evening at the slab relays! The atmosphere is chic, the service impeccable and the food succulent. Everything is cooked with local products, even from the garden. We have no negative points and really had a great time. Thank you Romain, cook and co-chef of the place, with whom we had the chance to chat before leaving. Excellent address, we will definitely come back!

10/11/2024: Accueil chaleureux, service rapide et repas juste fabuleux accompagné d'une bonne rouge à la pression. Je suis arrivée à 13h, hier, en sortant du boulot. Le choix s est porté sur la volaille sauce camembert....et les frites maison....c'était impeccable. Les deux serveuses sont très professionnelles et gentilles. Accueil courtois du patron qui n'a pas forcément vu ma personne débouler pour manger à 14h30. Lieu conseillé, (avec petit clin d œil à la personne qui cuisine), que ce soit en solo ou en famille. 👍

04/09/2024: Really friendly and smiling service but very long. There were, however, a lot of customers during our meal... Hearty and sophisticated dishes but whose flavor was a little bland... A little disappointed... We had the Basque-style chicken stir-fry, accompanied by rice for me and fries for the person who accompanied me. The Basquaise sauce was not thick and therefore very liquid and the rice lacked drainage, which is a shame. Excellent really homemade fries on the other hand. Excellent crème brûlée also for dessert, generous buttery taste and served warm at an impeccable temperature. Paix Dieu beer is served in a glass dedicated to him! And the coffee was also very good. Flowered terrace sheltered by large parasols, overlooking the Collegiate Church. Large interior room. Well located... The boss was smiling and friendly. Moderate and competitive prices. A pleasant time overall!

29/08/2024: In the area for one night. Clean and well-equipped room and hotel with smiling and friendly staff. Good breakfast and spacious room. The exterior soundproofing is OK, however, the interior soundproofing on the corridor is non-existent, so it was noisy with young children nearby.

15/09/2024: Very nice hotel in a relaxing setting. Friendly, attentive and attentive staff. Nothing is missing from breakfast. Very good dinner. Perhaps a shame to only offer a monthly menu even if alternatives are offered. I warmly recommend this establishment.

11/09/2024: In a little quiet pretty village a ten minute drive from Rouen. Easy to find and with plenty of secure car parking at the rear of the property. We were given a warm welcome at reception, checked in and shown where the breakfast, dining room and bar was located. The rooms were of reasonable size - ours was a twin bedded room on the first floor overlooking the garden at the rear but given how quiet the village is I would not think traffic noise to be an issue for those whose bedrooms faced the road. The room, like the rest of the hotel, was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable ensuring we got a good night's sleep. We ate in the restaurant and although the menu was not extensive what they did was cooked to perfection and tasted delicious. I went for the steak which melted in the mouth. In the morning we had continental breakfast with bread, jam, meats and cheeses - a great way to start the day. At checkout we asked if we could have permission to leave our classic cars for a few hours in their car park whilst we took a taxi into Rouen to do some sightseeing - it wasn't a problem. What a lovely friendly hotel this is. I have no hesitation in recommending and shall be booking it again myself the next time I visit Rouen.

06/12/2024: Group meals. We went back because the first time was nice. This time a little less. The dishes were OK. Nice menu with good value for money. However, there were 28 of us and we were not informed that they could not accommodate us properly. So we were in 2 rooms separated by a wall.... Nice to chat! Unsmiling service as a bonus.
