25/08/2024: Very good pancakes however the service leaves something to be desired. We had to ask for ice cubes 3 times, the same for the coffee where we waited so long that we got up. Indeed the waitress had gone to sit at a table to listen to vocals on her phone!!! Damage !

26/08/2024: Cela fait plusieurs années que nous retournons dans ce restaurant. Déjà, le patron nous reconnaît à chaque fois et nous accueille gentiment. Ensuite, les plats sont fins et très bons Gravelax de saumon, tartare de dorade, tout était frais et délicieux En plus la vue sur le port et sur les gens qui passent est tres agreable Il y a plusieurs formules avec deux ou trois plats et les prix sont raisonnables. Un conseil, allez-y !

14/07/2024: Dommage qu'il y a eu un changement de propriétaire. Ayant consommé de nombreuses années sur les anciens propriétaires tout était parfait et très bon. Malheureusement avec le changement de propriétaire tout est mauvais et même très mauvais. La paella est très mauvaise, jusqu'à trouver des mouches dans les barquettes. Ce lieu n'est pas à recommander et même à disparaître. Lieu insalubre. Bon courage à ceux qui se rendent dans ce lieu qui doit être visité au plus vite par les services de l hygiène.

11/05/2024: Très déçu, accueil pas au top. Nous décidons de réserver samedi pour venir le vendredi soir soir 6 jours avant . Nous arrivons pour manger la serveuse nous informe que sur notre commande 3 plats de moules frites pourront être servi sur 6. Nous trouvons décevant et décidons de partir. Il faut réserver habituellement 24h avant mais même 6 jours avant impossible d'avoir notre commande nous avons du aller au restaurant à côté. Bcp plus accueillant et il y avait des moules très bonne chez loup de la mer et nous avons bien digéré. Bref revoir le personnel et la gestion .

19/09/2024: We had a great meal here when on holiday in La Garde Freinet. Six of us spanning three generations, aged from 5 to 72. They looked after us beautifully and the food was of a high standard. We can’t recommend it too highly. Great garden like atmosphere.

30/08/2024: A very cute little restaurant that we would love to come back to. The food tasted very good. We really liked the atmosphere. You should reserve in advance so that you can get a table. Our Bernese Mountain Dog was also greeted with a lot of love.

21/10/2025: A tiny jewel in a small village. There were 6 total tables, maybe room to squeeze a 7th. Be ready for a place that oozes charm: ancient wood-beamed ceiling; a large fireplace/oven; a hand-written menu du jour that arrives at your table. My salmon carpaccio appetizer melted on the way down, the large Daurade (sea bream) was perfectly seared outside from the wood fire while soft and savory inside, perfectly accompanied by seared carrots and persimmon (now that's a delight if you've never had one), and rice. OK, I'm not used to the head-on-fish presentation, but, hey, it's France in the countryside. I laughed at some of the negative reviews, like someone who was put off for not accommodating his party of 11. In a 6-table restaurant? Really? Several reviewers found chef-owner Christophe curmudgeonly? As most French, they're reserved until you actually talk with them. I ended up staying well after closing and partying with the chef (trained for 3 years in the US) and a French couple who are also restaurant owners. Now that's a serious recommendation. GO. You'll love it. Pricey? Would you rather eat a forgettable $50 meal or a dreamy $70 meal (appetizer, glass of wine, main, and dessert)?

15/10/2025: Really good French food - with a twist. Nico himself stands in front of the large charcoal oven and prepares fantastic meat dishes etc. It tastes like something! The atmosphere is wonderful and the music is good!
