28/07/2026: Disappointment guaranteed. I've been coming to La Lampa for years, but this time I'm posting a comment expressing my personal dissatisfaction. The staff was unpleasant and made the waiter sweat just being there. The daily special, a rare sirloin steak, was served with shoe leather... and the restrooms were even worse. This restaurant needs to change; I won't be going back. Thanks, goodbye.

29/10/2025: Well, I've never had that happen before! We came in the evening, Tuesday, for dinner. We were seated, the girl left and stopped talking to us; she went outside to chat. Anyway, a man came up and asked us what we wanted. We told him we hadn't received the cards, and he replied, "Go look outside at the board." I forgot, "I didn't print them out (mistake #1, see #2)." Given the way we left! So, we went outside and chose. Seriously, the nerve!! (We asked for two dishes, namely, stuffed vegetables and fish soup.) He said: "Oh, well, there aren't any left!" Wow! They really went too far. We had started our beers; I only drink with food, so we hadn't finished. He offered them to us! The least he could do...🤪 If they had a busy lunch service (which I can understand), they should have closed in the evening, or crossed out the dishes, or told us before making us go outside to choose! Sir, I hereby name you world champion of "I don't give a damn!" So we left and ate at a more expensive restaurant across the street, but absolutely Delicious, a lovely restaurant owner! Dear restaurant owner, Forever...!!! DON'T TAKE IT TOO FAR. Signed. Var vacationers!!!!

11/10/2025: Just perfect service, a super friendly boss and a more than perfect employee. A truly exquisite meal with a very good starter (really very good panisse) and a truly perfect pizza, I highly recommend it.

22/09/2025: Idyllic setting, cheerful and punchy waiter. Very good food! And fresh! They certainly don't accept credit cards (as indicated by the waiter and on the menus), but they do accept checks and even the option to pay by bank transfer! In short, a great way to have a good time!

07/09/2025: Absolutely avoid this place!! The staff behave like teenagers, cleaning your table and removing your cup even if you haven't finished your coffee. They're unwelcoming, just like the manager, who's unpleasant and seems to have left his smile in the sand and in his last glass of alcohol, which is probably used regularly as mouthwash by the entire staff. Add to that the pretentious attitude behind the bar, and you have a recipe for disaster for this sad restaurant. I will never set foot in this restaurant again; it ruins this beautiful beach. There's no indication that they don't accept credit cards, which makes you wonder why!!!... My advice: go next door to be treated properly, but definitely don't go there.

26/07/2026: We booked on the spur of the moment. The €39 set menu offers a choice of fish and meat dishes and is excellent brasserie fare. We started with foie gras (excellent!) and enjoyed Marmite and braised beef as our main courses. The children's cod was cooked to perfection and was a lovely piece of fillet. For dessert, we were served cheese, ice cream, and a generous mango tartlet. The service was quick and attentive. Thank you so much! ❤️

25/07/2026: If I had known, I would have read the reviews before coming… my experience was entirely representative of them. We arrived as a party of five and were greeted with disdain because, apparently, adding a chair to a table was a problem… I should mention that the terrace was empty. In the end, she seated us at the very back of the terrace, and my mother was sitting outside; we really felt like we were intruding. Then, when we asked to unfold the parasol, it felt like we were asking for the moon (is it too much to ask to be in the shade in the middle of July on the French Riviera, perhaps?). Once we were seated, she immediately offered us a bottle of beach water. Surprise when the bill arrived: €7 for a 75cl bottle. The dishes were decent, but nothing exceptional, and the portions were like something from a children's menu. That, combined with the appalling service, made us very disappointed. Thankfully, the youngest waitress raised the bar a bit. The Zaz playlist on repeat was a bit much too. And to top it all off, we had to breathe in our neighbors' cigarette smoke. In short, don't be fooled by the rose offered when you look at the menu. RUN!

18/10/2025: The endangered shark was really not to my taste, at the same time it shouldn't even be served!

20/09/2025: For a seafood meal, the island's beautiful harbor offers magnificent evening views. The daily menu is not always available. Clothes are required in the forecourt and in the restaurant.

08/11/2025: Shameful! I made a reservation for my birthday, it was confirmed, so I arrived on time and on the day I booked, only to find the restaurant closed. There were no signs, no posts on their Instagram mentioning the closure, especially since the reservation had been confirmed by email and text message. Thanks for ruining my birthday!

27/10/2025: I had reserved a table via the website. Reservation confirmed. We showed up on Sunday, October 26th, and what a surprise. It said "closed." I don't know if it's permanently closed. We had to find another solution. And to top it all off, this morning I received a message asking how my meal went. It's better to laugh about it...

17/07/2026: We ate here on July 15th. Upon arrival, a blonde woman, around 40-50 years old, at the entrance seemed to be ignoring us. We tried to greet her, making eye contact, but she simply ignored us, probably thinking we wouldn't order anything. Fortunately, the waitress who saw us came over to greet us and seat us. The pasta was good, and the pizza too, especially the tomato sauce. However, don't expect much in terms of bread: just four small pieces barely vying for your attention. The prices are high, though similar to Cassis: around €19 for a pizza and €18 for pasta.

15/07/2026: A RIP-OFF!!! This review perfectly reflects the poor quality of service at this dump... A word of advice, fellow boaters: steer clear. The sign at the entrance claims the pizzas are made by a Sicilian pizza maker 🤣 I've never eaten such bad pizzas: low-quality ingredients, burnt, and sickening. I hope I don't get sick tonight. It also advertises homemade fries, but strangely enough, when we asked the waitress, they were replaced with frozen ones. The beers were warm, and the Monaco (a type of beer) and the lemonade must have been room temperature: undrinkable. That'll teach me to read the reviews beforehand, because they speak for themselves. And the worst part is the prices they charge for this mediocre food 😱. The restaurant business is a profession, and so is pizza making... Don't fall into this trap; there are much better places to eat in Porquerolles.

23/06/2026: Beautiful view and pleasant setting for breakfast. Unfortunately, the service was very slow, with the servers having to make multiple trips to the bakery across the street to collect what seemed to be each order. Furthermore, the atmosphere was unpleasant due to frequent remarks and shouting from what I believe was the owner or manager towards the staff. It's a shame, because the place has potential; it was better before…

15/06/2026: The food was good quality and the staff provided excellent service. However, the owner's attitude left much to be desired. I witnessed a customer being reprimanded in front of everyone for ordering at the bar instead of remaining at his table. The tone was harsh and unprofessional. It's a shame, as it marred what could have been a very positive experience.

02/07/2026: A perfectly ordinary café/bar, right in the heart of town. You sit comfortably under the trees, directly on the street (there isn't much traffic), and the lively, friendly owner carries every drink from the bar across the street, chatting with half the town, spreading a cheerful, vibrant atmosphere. I had two coffees and a pain au chocolat, both good and very reasonably priced (€3.30 for coffee and pain).

07/04/2026: I am very disappointed by my experience at Café du Commerce in Bargemon. The welcome was particularly unpleasant: the café owner was unfriendly, even downright rude, which immediately made me feel uncomfortable. The worst part was his incomprehensible attempt to extort €5 from us when giving us change. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and gives the establishment a very bad image. It's a shame, because the setting is pleasant, but this in no way compensates for the lack of professionalism and honesty. I do not recommend this place.

08/07/2026: I came to collect a Mondial Relay parcel, the locker is empty.

16/06/2026: I went to have coffee with my mother-in-law and my wife. They took our order, we paid, and then made us wait at least 10 minutes for three coffees. The worst part is that she takes coffee cups right in front of me, washes them by hand at the tap, gives them a quick rinse, and then serves us the coffee. When we ask for sugar, she tells me they don't have any more. The woman with the curly hair and glasses is very unpleasant. If she's fed up, she should change jobs altogether. It's the customers who bring back other people's cups to the bar; it's kind of her, but sorry, it's not her. I'm really disgusted with this place. Go somewhere else, it's better. I advise you, but everyone does what they want. Have a good day everyone.

20/07/2026: Simply awful and the service was truly catastrophic: the welcome was very unpleasant, the food (it's not even cuisine) was mediocre at best. Even the bill arrived poorly seasoned and far too salty. In short, avoid this place.

06/07/2026: Very disappointed by this place; the staff were unwelcoming. The salads were expensive for what little there was. I do not recommend this place.

05/01/2026: It's a shame that this bar/restaurant has the best view of the port because the service is deplorable, the manager is a prison guard, never friendly… I came 3 times to have a coffee on the terrace giving him "the benefit of the doubt" but I never got a smile or a hello 😂 This time was the last time, I recommend the café next door!

08/12/2025: The waitress on duty that morning was disgruntled and disrespectful because she didn't have change for 20 euros and tried to get all high and mighty! Talk about driving customers away! Maybe she has a libido problem? And then again, given her size! I don't recommend this establishment because, judging by the reviews, this kind of behavior is commonplace.

12/09/2025: I went to this brasserie because the train station restrooms were closed and I was in a pinch. I politely asked if I could use the facilities, to which I was told, in a very cold tone, that they were reserved for customers and that I had to buy something. So I offered to get a muffin to comply with the rule. I was then told that the restrooms would be closed for five minutes. I agreed to wait, but I eventually noticed that the manager was taking his sweet time putting away the parasols and cleaning, while there were still customers sitting there. This gave me the impression that they were trying to discourage me rather than actually enforcing a rule. I completely understand that an establishment reserves its restrooms for its customers, but it's also possible to say so with a minimum of kindness and consideration, especially when a customer is making the effort to buy something. The attitude adopted in this situation was neither welcoming nor professional.

06/09/2025: Breakfast for €6.90! Hot drink, freshly squeezed orange juice, pastry, bread and butter with jam! Great!

09/02/2026: As a regular customer, until yesterday I was showing my children around to enjoy shopping in peace and quiet and having a decent hot meal. On the first floor, to get to the second floor, someone called out to me, "Madam, where are you going?" as if I didn't know where I was going (I'm Black) with three mixed-race children. I told him I was going to the restaurant, and he said there were no seats available. "A security guard told me there were no seats," he said. It's ridiculous! Is this the restaurant reception to tell me that? I insisted and went in anyway. Once there, they immediately told me there were no seats without even checking. I insisted and stayed. A French couple (white, also without a reservation) arrived, which is strange because there was space for them. I stayed and insisted that we would also separate and eat separately from them. Strangely, a reservation was cancelled after a manager came to scrutinize us and speak to me before finally giving his approval for us to stay. It was 2:30 PM, and we waited an hour for our food. The children only ate a piece of bread and drank water. No ice was offered to chill my white wine. I was told there was only one person in the kitchen after 2 PM, so the wait would be long. The restaurant emptied out at 3:30 PM, and the food finally arrived. My dish was lukewarm, almost cold, and the children's fries were cold and dry. I didn't say anything, paid my bill, and we left, still hungry. My children ended up nibbling on their meat without touching the fries. I find it disrespectful of the employee who greets customers and the management to discriminate based on the type of clientele and the service process. Serving leftover cold fries mixed with a few hot ones is unacceptable. I will return, and always with my children, as others do, and I will make a reservation under a different name to avoid being seated at the back. You didn't scare me away and you weren't going to stop me from coming back. When I come with my white partner, we've never been subjected to this kind of treatment from the first floor, let alone made to wait to be served. I wouldn't wish this kind of treatment (discrimination) on anyone.

09/02/2026: It says it's open, but after an hour's drive it's closed.
