27/02/2026: I ordered a lemon chicken tagine on Uber Eats under the name Walida, with bread added for an extra charge. What I received was a sort of chicken boiled in water with a runny sauce and some raw carrots… It was the worst tagine I've ever eaten because it wasn't really a tagine at all… just steamed chicken with carrots and two pieces of bread… a far cry from the hearty and flavorful dish I was expecting! It was more like hospital food for a patient on a diet. Very disappointing! I definitely do not recommend it!

04/02/2026: As usual, a real treat. For once, I hesitated over the side dish, the homemade pasta, as the portion was very generous. You remain one of the best restaurants in Auxerre. I discovered even more new flavors. And the friendly service, which is always top-notch, makes you feel right at home. See you soon!

14/11/2025: We don't go there anymore. For a long time, we were regulars, but a very bad experience made us change our minds for good. One day, we had the misfortune of arriving slightly before service started: a frosty welcome, unpleasant remarks, and a very clear feeling that we were bothering them. When regular customers are treated like that, it's no wonder they don't come back. Regulars deserve respect and pampering – otherwise, they should find another line of work.

15/02/2026: I must admit I'm quite surprised given the many very positive reviews. I came in with high hopes… but I really didn't enjoy it. And yet, I'm not someone who eats without salt: I usually season my food myself and I'm happy to add salt. This was just too much. The accras were extremely salty, the "perfect egg" was more like a hard-boiled egg, and the broth served with the lamb shank was practically undrinkable because of the salt. The seven-hour beef was tender, but lacked sauce and was also too salty. The desserts were decent, even good, but nothing memorable. On the other hand, I have no complaints about the service: the woman who looked after us was very kind and attentive, which made the experience pleasant despite everything. In the end, I don't understand the difference with the comments I had read: for me, the food remains just average, mainly because of really excessive seasoning.

The service was very pleasant and quick, and the quality of the food speaks for itself, at least as far as the dishes I tried are concerned. (The menu changes every 3-4 months.) I highly recommend it.
