27/07/2026: A truly enchanting interlude! We were already familiar with the establishment before its evolution into this new concept combining an intimate restaurant and guest rooms. What a joy to return and see Olivier and Pierre again! The welcome is as warm and attentive as ever, giving the impression of being received as guests rather than mere customers. Dinner was a genuine pleasure, with refined dishes bursting with flavor, prepared with great talent and passion. The guest room itself is magnificent, tastefully decorated and offering all the necessary comforts to extend this wonderful experience. The new, more intimate format also allows for greater interaction and conviviality, which we particularly appreciated. A huge thank you to Olivier and Pierre for their kindness, professionalism, and hospitality. We were delighted with our stay and are already looking forward to returning!

03/08/2026: A truly wonderful experience at this establishment, where the chef cooks exclusively with plant-based cream, which is rare but a real treat for those with lactose intolerance. This was the case for my daughter, who was able to enjoy her meal without any fear of feeling unwell.

02/08/2026: I highly recommend this restaurant after visiting the flea market in Aillant-sur-Thollon. Located in Charny, just 30 minutes from Aillant, it's a wonderful discovery, peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle. The food is excellent, the welcome is warm, and the owners are very pleasant. It offers great value for money, and as a bonus, there's a traditional market on Sundays.

25/07/2026: Too bad there aren't 6 stars 😅 We were just passing through and stopped for a bite to eat. In the end, we had aperitifs, dinner, and dessert... and received a wonderful welcome! It was absolutely delicious and homemade, with a family atmosphere. I don't know what else to add... except that we even bought some classic caramel and homemade passion fruit caramel, which was delicious!!! It had been so long, too long even for me to remember, since we'd had such a great time at a restaurant! Thank you again... And we'll definitely come back when we're in the area. 23/07/2026: A warm welcome from 3 generations. We were lucky: no reservation, yet there was a spot available. Delicious food, relaxed and a family atmosphere. The kind of place that makes you happy as a tourist, because only locals are there.

16/07/2026: While passing through Avallon, we ate at this establishment and we'll definitely be keeping this address. Everything was perfect. The food was excellent, the service impeccable, and the staff more than perfect.

23/06/2026: We ate at this restaurant whilst staying in Noyers. The service, atmosphere of the place is very good. The food is very flavourful. However, we ordered a beef steak to share for 2 people, and there was no denying it was delicious, but the price of it was not made clear at the point of ordering. We were charged a lot more than we thought. So, to be clear for future patrons, a clear pricing list must and should be made available to avoid dissatisfaction at the time of settling the bill.

15/06/2026: During our stroll through Noyers (a magnificent village), we were instantly charmed by this establishment. Despite our late arrival, we were greeted with a smile and shown into a beautiful garden... We suddenly felt like we were on vacation! The menu isn't exhaustive, but it was a delight to discover the offerings, all prepared with impeccable skill, a feast for both the eyes and the palate! The service was incredibly pleasant, with the entire team providing a warm and friendly atmosphere. If you're looking for a place to eat well and receive excellent service, you've come to the right place! We (Parisians and newcomers to Burgundy) will be happy to return.

25/07/2026: An exceptional dining experience in a unique setting! ​The Discovery Menu is outstanding value for money, showcasing inventive flavor combinations crafted from fresh, high-quality local ingredients. ​A true highlight was the tomato-based starter—an extraordinary dish featuring tomato ice cream, a refreshing cold tomato soup, crisp green tomatoes from Florence, and a savory tomato cake, all beautifully layered with goat cheese. The rest of the menu matched that high standard: the tuna paired with zucchini was delicate and fresh, followed by a deeply flavorful assortment of duck varieties. ​Every dish felt like a unique piece of art on the plate, and the wine pairings were sublime. Despite being at the table for several hours, time flew by; the pacing was perfect and we were engaged throughout the entire meal. Service was equally impressive, with every course thoroughly and warmly explained in fluent English. ​To top it all off, the setting is remarkable—dining in a historic building with a creek running directly underneath adds a wonderful atmosphere to the meal. Highly recommended.

12/07/2026: Passing through Chablis for a Burgundy weekend, we discovered this wonderful restaurant. Our first fine dining experience, and it was truly memorable. We were captivated by the six-course tasting menu. Everything was perfect, from the presentation to the harmonious pairing of each dish. We also had a great rapport with Antoine, our waiter, who was delightful throughout the entire meal and clearly knows his craft. We highly recommend this restaurant, and congratulations to the chef!

07/08/2026: While on holiday in Tonnerre, we ate at several restaurants in and around the town, and we went to Le Saint Père the day before our departure. It's by far the best restaurant in the area, both for the excellent food and the warm welcome. From the appetizers to the dessert, not to mention the infused rums, everything is a delight. I recommend it 1000%.

15/07/2026: Here's a great spot in Auxerre to enjoy delicious, fresh, homemade dishes. They're a real discovery in terms of taste. Like the green gazpacho with its lemon mousse, a refreshing creation. Worth trying if it's still on the menu. We also had snails as a starter (typical in this region), followed by a casserole of andouillette sausage au gratin with Époisses cheese (a local cheese), and then beefsteak tomato carpaccio. Very fresh. For dessert, the poached nectarine was another lovely discovery. All this in a relaxing and pleasant setting, especially with the misting fans on the terrace. The service was friendly and efficient. The owner, who is also the chef, isn't afraid to leave his stove to help with service. Be careful not to go through the wrong door. Don't take the one for the brasserie next door. Make sure you go through the small gate. Otherwise, you won't be eating anything that's actually homemade. Thank you for your table.
