13/09/2024: C'est un de ces restaurants qui font encore une belle et bonne cuisine de produits du terroir et dans la belle tradition française... et qui propose pour un prix sans excès un menu complet, précédé d'amuses bouche copieux.
Le service est affable, la carte des vins bien construite.
Nous y avons vécu une parenthèse enchantée tant pour la qualité des mets, quel'ambiance générale.

Acceuil chaleureux et service attentionné, tables confortables et espacées

20/09/2024: We had a wonderful meal here. The 5 course menu at 45 euros (78€ with 4 glasses of wine) was excellent value for money. Each dish was beautifully presented and every element flavoursome. The service was friendly and professional. Definitely recommend.
29/08/2024: Second visit to this restaurant and it's still fabulous. I don't know which is more remarkable, the view or the taste - probably both. The photos already make you want it.
The room is small, reservation is required.
The prices are reasonable for an establishment of this quality.
I recommend without reservation.

01/08/2024: The quality of the products and the know-how of the chefs are evident in each dish. The quality/quantity/price ratio is very good, and the service is too (overall). Definitely an address to try in Auxerre if you have the chance.

07/09/2024: Nous connaissons cette auberge depuis les débuts de Mr Salamolard et je dirais qu'il est comme les vins d'Irancy qu'il propose, il se "bonifie " avec l'âge . Il est pour moi l'une des toutes premières tables du département .

Jeweils vier mal Auswahl von Entree, Hauptgericht, acht Sorten Käse und vier Nachtischen zu Preisen von je nur 13 und 20 € je Menü. Wir vier waren zufrieden und satt. Schöne passende Getränkeauswahl, guter Kaffee, sehr freundliche Begrüssung und Bedienung - besser geht es nicht!

25/08/2024: Honestly it was good, well done, served in good proportions. The efficient and friendly service, the terrace in a small courtyard overlooking the square is perfect, and the value for money is excellent.
Limited choice (a good sign), except for ice creams and sorbets.

Quel accueil et quels plats. Notre restaurant préféré dans la région. Malheureusement, ce sera sans doute notre dernier retour sur ce restaurant car le chef va prendre une retraite amplement méritée.
Si vous passez par auxerre, dépêchez vous de réserver !

29/08/2024: Great restaurant. Incredible food, we had the prime rib and salad as a starter. Mat is super nice, the boss in the kitchen with his wood fire ensures superb cooking. Thank you.

The service is not only fast, but also impeccable. The menu offers a balanced selection that will please all tastes. I highly recommend you visit this wonderful place.

15/09/2024: I've been wanting to try this restaurant for a while. The setting is magnificent, the welcome warm. Red wine and kir are excellent. We took the menu for 45 euros. For my part, the only criticism was that the sea bream was a little overcooked, otherwise I loved everything else. And my partner would have liked another sauce on the kidney rather than the béarnaise offered. And to finish, the succulent, well-crafted desserts. We will come back in fine weather to enjoy the terrace.
