20/06/2026: We were staying at Soho House nearby and came cross this wonderful neighbourhood restaurant! The beef bourguignon was delicious. The meat was very tender and the flavour was authentic and yet not overwhelming. 🤤🫶🏻

31/01/2026: Warning! We went there at lunchtime today only to find it closed. There's no information on their website, yet Google shows it as open. After searching online, we discovered the restaurant went into liquidation at the beginning of January.

06/01/2026: Thank you for notifying us of the closures. We drove through the snow only to be surprised by your closure notice, which was displayed as open. It was a risk for nothing, and there was no follow-up. We are disappointed by the lack of communication with our customers.

01/08/2026: So we arrived at 7pm at the beginning of August so it wasn't crowded, we were served a good galette, at 7:30pm we took our order for dessert and at 8pm I asked for news and we were told that they had forgotten our order, the servers must be beginners because it was too slow.

19/07/2026: I go there regularly, on Sunday at lunchtime, for a drink or a meal, either with my partner or friends. It's a friendly place, and the owner, Bertrand, is quite a character—very kind, welcoming, and always going out of his way for his customers. The food is good; it's simple but tasty and very affordable. Stop by the terrace opposite the café, have a drink, and you'll feel like you're on vacation.

08/04/2026: Between appointments in Neauphle-le-Château, I had the pleasure of stopping by Café des Sports… and it’s definitely a place I’ll be keeping close at hand. The terrace is truly pleasant and peaceful, perfect for working quietly while enjoying a real break. A really nice little spot for those looking for a coffee in Neauphle-le-Château to relax in between meetings. The welcome is impeccable, the service is quick and friendly. I even had the chance to chat with the owner, a passionate man who shared the history of the place with me… and that makes all the difference. And then… a special mention for the aroma wafting from the kitchen! The simmering beef bourguignon definitely made me want to come back and try the menu! If you’re looking for a friendly café in Neauphle-le-Château, with a pleasant terrace, an authentic local atmosphere, and mouthwatering food, head straight to Café des Sports. I recommend it 100%, whether it's for a coffee, lunch, or even working in peace and quiet.

25/07/2026: We had a wonderful time on the horseback ride. Zoé is a fantastic guide. The only downside is that not all GPS systems easily lead to the location. Plan to arrive a little early. However, the reception staff are available to help you over the phone.

05/07/2026: Horse Training and Relationship Workshop: A highly enriching two-day workshop with personalized guidance tailored to each participant's goals and needs. Manuel took the time to handle the horses himself, helping us progress and sharing his knowledge with great teaching skills. The atmosphere was excellent, and the entire team was very welcoming, supportive, and always available to answer our questions. I left this workshop with all the answers I came looking for, and even more. In just two days, you can already feel a real improvement in the relationship and communication between horse and rider. Thank you to the whole team for this wonderful experience, which I highly recommend.

16/07/2026: A bit pricey for the quality of the food... especially the dessert, the "chef's tart" at €10.50: a mass-produced apple tart with vanilla ice cream that was vanilla in name only, topped with a dollop of whipped cream and chocolate sauce from a plastic bottle. A real rip-off by the chef... The draft beer was flat. Overall, very disappointed with a hefty bill.

18/07/2026: Arriving with friends at 11:30 PM for drinks, we had a disastrous experience from start to finish. Not only were the cocktails disappointing, but just 10 minutes after being served, we were rudely informed that the bar was closing. We were then handed cups to pour our drinks into and left. What's the point of serving customers if you're just going to chase them away 10 minutes later, especially since your website states closing time is 2:00 AM? A serious overhaul of your approach to hospitality and customer service is clearly needed. Avoid this place.

17/08/2026: An excellent place! The setting is warm and welcoming, perfect for a pleasant meal. The waiter was attentive, very professional, and friendly. As for the food, it was delicious: flavorful dishes, beautifully presented, and impeccable service. Everything met, and even exceeded, our expectations. Highly recommended!

01/08/2026: We wanted a simple meal, and above all, good meat. We were the first customers and were seated without any trouble. The waiter seated us and gave us the menus. For aperitifs, we ordered a blackberry kir, a spritz, and an apple juice. The waiter returned shortly after with an apple juice and a peach kir, even though we had ordered a blackberry kir. He left again, came back with a blackberry kir, and seven minutes passed before the spritz arrived, which unfortunately wasn't a spritz at all. Anyway... our main courses arrived: a beef skewer with fries and pepper sauce, and a ribeye steak with fries and gorgonzola sauce. We struggled with our respective meats, which were full of gristle. Disappointed! My steak (ribeye) was good, but undercooked in some places, and there was a lot of gristle, making it very difficult to eat. The owner asked us if we had enjoyed our meal, and we simply replied that it was very average. He offered us coffee as a gesture of goodwill. We accepted, but what's disappointing about this restaurant experience is that while they grill over a wood fire (which is true), the fries tasted like they were swimming in oil and were inedible. It's a shame because we're not just tourists; we live in the neighborhood!

23/07/2026: A small meal for two on a Sunday around 2 pm, I think during the last seating. The service was very friendly, professional, and quick. We had a very annoying wasp, and our waitress found a fascinating technique to scare it away by burning coffee grounds. I learned a trick that works! For lunch, we ordered two large salads because they looked appetizing from the street. My salad was generous, but the gizzards were practically raw, so I didn't want to send it back. The foie gras was excellent, and the duck breasts were too. My only complaint is the very limited portion size... Yes, it's a salad, but there was really way too much salad, like, seriously (I don't go to Périgord to pretend I'm a rabbit 😅). I had two excellent blonde beers, and we shared a San Pellegrino. For dessert, I had French toast brioche, which was excellent! I work at the Palace of Versailles, and I would recommend the restaurant to visitors looking for good places to eat, even though I was disappointed by the salad... I will still come back to try something other than salads to revise my opinion.

10/06/2026: This hotel offers overnight stays alongside long-term family accommodations. Personally, I don't like it at all. It's noisy, like a family gathering. The hotel owner is very welcoming. There's absolutely no internet in the room, just like in the city.
