02/01/2026: A very beautiful golf course, the only one in France designed by the German champion Bernhard Langer. It's not very large, but it features many undulating greens. The course is elevated, offering a lovely view. The driving range is also very pleasant, with a covered section.

09/11/2025: The course is fantastic, designed by Langer in a beautiful setting. Difficult but challenging with real water hazards, especially on the 8th with its island green. A signature 18-hole for me with a superb back nine to the clubhouse. And the staff are lovely. I highly recommend it!

13/09/2026: My first experience at Haras de la Cense this weekend, an exceptional estate dedicated to gentle horsemanship and respect for the horse. It was an equestrian discovery, but also a human and personal one, that happily changed my perspective on the world of horses. A huge thank you to coach Leelou, a graduate of La Cense, whom I highly recommend for the quality of her teaching and her wonderful energy. Thank you also to Bless You for her patience and kindness at the end of my lunge line ❤️

16/08/2026: Experienced riders, look elsewhere! We booked a ride advertised as "for experienced riders, comfortable at all three gaits," in the beautiful Rambouillet forest. However, there was no ride at all three gaits. It was a walk, with a few strides of trot. As for the forest tour? Yes... if only the lungeing counts. We mentioned this to our guide. Her response: they haven't changed the site since they decided to stop cantering... This is not representative of the stud farm's reputation. The two parts are clearly separated: the rides are at the barn for tourists, and the stud farm is reserved for those in training. But beware!! If your horse is too difficult, it will be refused and set aside, and you will then train on their horses that are already fully trained. We, who were so enthusiastic about discovering this pillar of more respectful horsemanship, were more than disappointed…

06/10/2026: Excellent service, and where my French isn't up to par, the waiter helps with his English! Definitely not a given in France. Delicious food and a menu just the way I like it, reasonably priced with top-notch flavor. Perfect. I'm not a fan of anything too fancy, but I prefer a convivial place away from the touristy, and that was Bistrot de la Place for me. Thank you 🫶🏻

28/09/2026: A very warm welcome. A varied and delicious menu; we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Very reasonable value for money. A very pleasant waiter. The owner was truly very friendly. We had a lovely evening. A bistro we highly recommend. We will gladly return if we have the opportunity to come back to Versailles.

12/09/2026: This inn is falling apart, and the positive reviews are questionable. A €42 set menu plus extras for only bland, uninteresting dishes! The menu is very pretentious but completely unsuitable for the poor quality of the food. A huge disappointment, and the bill was hefty. Avoid this place!

31/07/2026: A very warm welcome, good food, and excellent value for money. Pleasant setting opposite the church. A thoroughly enjoyable village inn atmosphere.

12/09/2026: We arrived at 12:50 PM and still hadn't received anything to eat by 2:20 PM! The wait was long and unexplained, but the meal was delicious afterward. The chef came to apologize at our table.

17/08/2026: We discovered this restaurant a little over two years ago through a friend. Since then, we've been at least 25 times, if not more. That's how much we love it. It's a pleasure to introduce it to friends and family because we know they'll have a wonderful time. We haven't found anything better in the area, and when we want to have a good lunch somewhere, we very often come here. Why? 1/ Excellent food. 2/ Plenty of choice. 3/ Dishes that are as beautiful to look at as they are to eat. 4/ Surprisingly reasonable prices considering the quality. 5/ We've never been disappointed. Of course, the food isn't served in five minutes flat (you'd have to go to a fast-food restaurant for that, and if you like eating just about anything for barely less than here), but that also means it's serious cooking. We're going back in two days, if there's room (with an acquaintance from Lille to whom we've often spoken about La Licorne). Congratulations to this restaurant and its chef who so often delight us! The 5 stars across the board are more than well-deserved. Mr. Piat, it's clear you love cooking and care about your customers, taking great care to ensure they enjoy a wonderful meal. You are a true professional.

20/08/2026: It's always a pleasure to stop by the Bar Brasserie de l'Europe! The owners are incredibly welcoming: warm, smiling, and full of humor, you immediately feel at home ☕️. I come regularly for a coffee break (which is very good, by the way!) and the place is always spotless, including the restrooms, which is much appreciated ✨. The tobacco and newspaper section is also very convenient 📰. I haven't yet tried the brasserie for a meal, but the atmosphere and cleanliness make me want to come back without hesitation! 👍

15/08/2026: Passing through for our vacation, we arrived at 9 pm and what can I say about the welcome… if we're bothering you, please don't hesitate to tell us! The manager, perhaps?, was at the counter on her tablet and answered with a certain politeness… we're from Brittany, so maybe that's how customers are treated here, but frankly, it doesn't make us want to come back! We ordered three spritzes and what can I say… having owned a restaurant myself, this is clearly not one! It's a mixture of Aperol and sparkling water… I'll share the recipe with you: 3 parts prosecco, 2 parts Aperol, and 1 part sparkling water. There you go, that might be useful for next time 😉 but if your regulars like it, then no need to change your mind! With that, we'll continue the evening elsewhere and certainly won't let this bad impression ruin our vacation!
