02/10/2026: I wasn't very familiar with this bar before. But I came two weeks ago and discovered a very welcoming place. The waiter, Quentin, is very professional and kind. I recommend this bar and give a special mention to the waiter who manages to keep the customers coming back. I've been back many times.
06/09/2026: I ordered a 25cl bottle, they gave me a 50cl, and on top of that, they charged me for it... Watch out!
And those idiots who think they're playing foosball and who yell... Well, we won't be back.

27/05/2026: My husband and I went on our honeymoon to Versailles. Immediately upon entry, the staff let us know “No Anglaise”. Despite that, she was so incredibly helpful and even brought out a book to show us what fish were on the menu. It was the most incredible meal of our entire trip to France and she had the cutest pup behind the counter. We will be learning more French and going back!! Don’t be discouraged by the language barrier, just be ready to have the best scallops of your life.

I just moved to Saint-Germain, and wow, what a welcome!! Once bitten, twice shy!!! I went in intending to have lunch—I play the lottery first—but the person there was so unpleasant that I left immediately!!! There are plenty of tobacco shops and nice bistros in Saint-Germain; I'll never set foot in there again!!
18/07/2026: I have occasionally been to this bar several times over the past few years, and I get the impression that a smile and a warm welcome are reserved based on the customers' appearance, and if you look like the manager, you're done for: you won't even get a hello.

25/08/2026: What happened at L'Imprévu?
With six friends, we had a very good meal. When it came time for the bill, our card payment was declined. The reason, real or fabricated, was a system malfunction. No matter, we'd pay by check… oh no, we had to pay in cash. We were told there was a bank right next door; actually, it was a 180-meter round trip. We asked for the bill, and then the owner yelled at us and chased us away.
Too bad, but we won't be back.

I came to have a hot chocolate at Cottage Marly, and the experience was appalling: hit with vomiting just an hour after my visit.
The cleanliness of the place is nothing more than a superficial illusion; looking closer, the tablecloths were downright dirty. To top it off, the service, which wasn't great, might actually be the least negative thing
20/08/2026: A charming spot with a truly English atmosphere. You almost feel like you've spent hours driving along the winding roads of the Cotswolds before stopping here for a meal.
The setting is absolutely delightful, with a wonderfully exotic English feel, and the food is truly excellent.
A lovely interlude that makes you feel like you're traveling even though you haven't actually gone that far. A wonderful discovery!

22/04/2026: A refrigeration compressor is located directly above room 4, making a noise every 30 minutes. The welcome was cold and the cleanliness left much to be desired.
There are better options… I regretfully advise against staying here because, despite the somewhat dated decor, there's potential.

10/11/2025: Very disappointed, a disaster. The meat was dry, very little meat, and there was a lot of salad. It tasted like reheated food. What a shame.
03/11/2025: We had a very good experience at this restaurant where the service was impeccable and the food excellent and beautifully presented. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Perhaps just one small point for improvement: the ambiance could benefit from softer lighting and some oriental music to create a truly immersive experience.

13/08/2026: A lovely little restaurant opposite the cathedral and castle of Saint-Germain-en-Laye, where we enjoyed prawns in a virgin sauce with basmati rice on the terrace – an excellent dish. The servers were incredibly friendly and the service was quick. What more could you ask for? I highly recommend this place for a great time in a beautiful setting.
13/08/2026: Over €5 for a hot Coke? That's taking people for fools!
The least they could do is warn the customer. It's a shame, the terrace is in a good location.
