16/12/2024: Very warm welcome from Rowman. Smiling and very professional. I am never disappointed by the dishes, very nice setting.

16/12/2024: The food is not good: the club sandwich is nothing other than chicken, a little salmon and some kind of fatty sauce as well as 2 slices of toasted sandwich bread. Nothing to do with the real thing. It's completely a scam. restaurant to avoid.

27/08/2024: Overpriced dishes and pizzas! Pizza at €16 more than passable, and €8 for a small bowl of tabbouleh which looked more like a starter than a main course… Otherwise the place is nice!

22/08/2024: We enjoyed a delicious pizza in an absolutely unique atmosphere! The service is fast and quality, the kitchens are open and the staff are very pleasant. I highly recommend this place!!

26/09/2024: A place where the layout of the tables, perhaps close together, probably needs to be changed with a large room, a good breakfast, friendly staff and fast service.

28/08/2024: We found the place randomly on a street we took. I love the atmosphere of this place. We arrived around 3 p.m. and the service was impeccable, the vegetarian salad is incredible, next time I will try the desserts!!

23/01/2025: Extremely expensive! 8 sushis and a few makis = €36.80 for a lunch meal. The boss was unscrupulous, and billed my 14 year old son mercilessly instead of advising him on a more economical box. Very disappointed with the owner of this store who abused my child's credulity.

19/01/2025: You are the shame of Japanese cuisine, skewers that come out of the freezer and reheated in the microwave, then bring warm/cold, cold rice and overcooked, gyozas the same taken out of the freezer and barely cooked, lots of forgetting the order, prohibitive prices compared to the competition, it's not enough to form partnerships with great chefs and take beautiful photos! Money is not everything, there is talent too! Can't wait for you to close to make way for a restaurant or business that respects its customers!

21/09/2024: Stopped for a drink in early afternoon. There was a notice telling people who wanted to sit outside, to see the bar for service. I did this, they said they would come out to take the order. Over ten mins later, someone came. The drink was overpriced and the service was indifferent. A shame, because it’s a good location.

17/09/2024: We got into Bordeaux late afternoon - starving. I’m happy I did not read the reviews before we dined here. They were pretty bad. Perhaps they have improved although the service was slow. It was the only place we found there were no smokers. The food was great. The nicoise was an ample portion of fresh crisp lettuce, the peppers were a nice touch. The tuna and white anchovy were fresh and tasty. Our friends ordered a cassoulet with mushrooms & chicken with magnificent sauce and a salad with a giant bowl of Brie and French fries. Not my type of dish but she totally enjoyed. The St Germaine spritzer was the best I’ve had this trip.

24/09/2024: The air conditioning doesn't work, it's very hot in the rooms, I try to work on the windows because there are two, and then I understand why, every 5 minutes a tram passes, so it's impossible to sleep in this din. It was already mentioned in the reviews in June, I said to myself in a 4 star, the problem will be resolved 3 months later: well no. And when I tell reception they are surprised... The bed sheet is not a fitted sheet, but an ordinary sheet. I wake up in the middle of the night like a caterpillar, wrapped in it, and since the air conditioning doesn't work I feel even hotter. Also lack of pillows. In the toilets, no brush...Reservation taken over the phone, I ask for 3 nights with breakfast I pay, then on arrival breakfast is not included. I ask to speak to a manager and there they find me a solution: they offer them to me. It seems like the staff doesn't know their job, except for one person at the bar. In short, I choose this category because I want to be able to sleep really well and ultimately I didn't really rest. Novotel is no longer what it used to be.

23/09/2024: Stay 2 nights Location quite close to Saint Jean station Tramway at the foot which is accommodating but also noisy. Air conditioning broken The bottom sheet is too small and we find ourselves systematically sleeping on the mattress pad. The breakfast is plentiful Overall I find that this does not reflect a 4 star

09/07/2025: Unpolite and aggressive employees. The employees don't wear gloves, and the kitchen doesn't have masks to make sandwiches or hair protection. Not great service. Order received after 30 minutes. Cold fries. Employees make fun of you... professionalism needs to be improved. The trash cans are full. Dirty McDonald's. I don't recommend going there. I prefer the one on the docks or at the Matmut stadium. This McDonald's is to be avoided.

08/07/2025: Staff not at all pleasant, the dosage of mc flurry is shameful and they refuse to fill it up "a little" to make it normal

11/12/2025: Lunch in this very pleasant pub with its stylish and original musical decor. The dishes are simple and generous.

17/09/2024: The waiter was very friendly, the place on the terrace, impeccable....however very disappointed with the menu of the day! Chistorra....2 sausages with 2 potatoes for main course + crumble for dessert for €19.90...heavy price for what's on the plate!

07/07/2025: Beware, trap! They deliberately place a Badoit at each table. Since we didn't order it, we naturally assumed it was free. We only drank half. What a surprise when, when it came time to pay, we were told we had to pay €6 for a bottle of sparkling water. It's shameful.

07/07/2025: Bland tartare for €19. A mushy, flavorless meat. I didn't know capers could be so bland. I tried my friends' sirloin steak. I'm not a butcher, but it seemed tough to chew and cut, and definitely underseasoned... Industrial salad and sauce from a sachet. On the other hand, the service was fast (the kitchen mustn't be putting too much thought into it, in my opinion). In short, really give it a miss; it's expensive and unpleasant if you like food. The fries were good and the restaurant was well decorated; it generally did the job of a McDonald's. (Sorry for the mid-meal photos, but it wasn't any more appetizing than when the actual dish arrived.)
