13/09/2026: The locals from the upper Corrèze region had a very pleasant time at this restaurant run by the couple for the weekend. The meal was excellent, and the waitress went out of her way for her customers, as if she'd been doing it all her life! The chef even came to greet the customers in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere! I highly recommend it! Eat apples!

28/07/2026: What a warm and attentive welcome! We arrived late, well after 2 pm, but no problem at all; we thoroughly enjoyed the cannelloni and the red meat. Simple and authentic, a truly wonderful experience.

09/07/2026: A fantastic discovery! We had a wonderful meal in this authentic setting, featuring local produce. The burger was a Corsican twist with goat cheese… absolutely delicious! Impeccable service and very friendly staff ☺️ We highly recommend it!

30/09/2025: A word of advice: don't stop at this place. The food is absolutely terrible. And if you can't find anything else, then fast—it's better! Don't trust the rave reviews. On a weekday evening, we wanted a quick burger... it was served as a kit, with bad bread, burnt meat, and we'd been warned that they were out of Corsican cheese and had replaced it with cheddar, which was served unopened straight out of the package... And to top it all off, we had to wait 30 minutes for it. Absolutely dreadful.

25/09/2026: The kind of restaurant you stumble upon completely by chance… and are so glad you found it! 🇻🇳❤️ In L’Île-Rousse, just off Rue Napoléon, a sudden craving for bo bun led us into a small restaurant that, from the outside, doesn't look like much. A small terrace overlooking the street, nothing fancy… and yet, from the moment we walked in, something told us we were in the right place. Two women in the kitchen, a man serving, smiles, welcoming faces, and above all… the ingredients we could see. It smelled like homemade, the real deal, the kind that doesn't try to fake it. And indeed: here, everything is 100% homemade. I was with my friend of Vietnamese origin, so you can imagine our expectations were slightly higher than average 😅. Verdict after biting into her spring roll: "It's really good." And coming from her, I take that as a very good sign! For my part, I ordered the royal bo bun (if my memory serves me right 🙈) and wow… what a revelation! Perfectly crispy spring rolls, a well-balanced filling, generous and perfectly balanced flavors. A real treat, the likes of which I've rarely tasted. And frankly, I absolutely didn't expect to eat one of my best bo buns in L'Île-Rousse, Corsica. It just goes to show, sometimes all it takes is following a craving for noodles and cilantro down a random street 😂. And then came my favorite dessert: the coconut pearls. Another surprise! They were served with an absolutely delicious sauce that added a wonderfully indulgent touch and, most importantly, eliminated that slightly chewy, even rubbery, texture that coconut pearls can sometimes have. A true marvel to end the meal. And the cherry on top: a perfectly reasonable bill… especially when you think of the exorbitant prices and sometimes meager portions at some beachside restaurants! 😂 But the best part, beyond the food, is the cook's story. Curious, I asked her how she came to Corsica. She told me she had followed her daughter, who had come here to study. From Saigon to L'Île-Rousse… much to our delight! 🇻🇳➡️🇨🇵 Generous, authentic cuisine, fresh, homemade ingredients, smiles, and a beautiful story behind it all. In short, we came looking for a bo bun. We left with an excellent meal, a wonderful encounter, and the desire to return. ❤️

10/09/2026: The only restaurant that stands out in Ile Rousse. We wanted to give this place a try even though there were no customers at the time. We made an excellent choice. Everything was delicious, from the duck to the fried foods to the beef. If I return to Ile Rousse, I'll definitely come back here. Everything was delicious at a good price 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

18/08/2026: Excellent restaurant in Luri, we returned two nights during our stay. Very kind and cheerful staff, authentic Corsican cuisine, a quiet atmosphere. Fair prices, among the best dishes we had in Corsica. Recommended the lasagna and millefeuille 👌

16/08/2026: We stopped for a coffee and also bought a 1-liter bottle of water to take away: €6 just for the bottle…that's a bit steep…

04/09/2026: First stop after enduring the sawdust and plastic served on the plane. A stroke of genius: perfectly seasoned Lebanese-style raw fish, and excellent service. It instantly cleanses the palate of the inhospitable flight.

For tourists... take the time to explore the mountain roads; you'll meet wonderful people and see magnificent scenery, all while leaving with a full stomach.

12/10/2026: The service staff were incredibly unfriendly and uncooperative. Anyone with allergies or other health issues should definitely avoid this place. It was simply disappointing. The only redeeming feature was the view. The food was not tasty. A real shame.

14/07/2026: A few words cannot do justice to the quality of this establishment. Roger, Sébastien, and their team always provide a perfect and pleasant welcome. The meals are high-quality and very generous. In short, at Roger's, you feel right at home. A quick note for motorcyclists: this establishment isn't listed in any motorcycle guides, but you can go there with complete confidence; there's ample parking for motorcycles.
