As for drinks, they hand you the ice, and they don't have basic options like Coca-Cola Zero or Fanta (a soda costs €4). The music is salsa, some bachata, and reggaeton.

06/07/2025: We had an incredible stay at this hotel. The owners are charming and attentive to their guests. The rooms are very quiet, decorated in a 19th-century style. A deliberate choice, which perfectly matches this beautiful establishment, steeped in history, which has defied time for five generations. Above all, don't change a thing! It's perfect as it is. The garden is pure beauty, with its hydrangea hedge. The icing on the cake is the swimming pool, which we could enjoy even after checking out. What can I say about the restaurant? Simply a huge wow! Impeccable staff, attentive and highly professional. The cuisine is worthy of a fine restaurant; it was a delight, from starter to dessert. The rice pudding was incredibly good. "Dear Sir, you who left a negative comment about your great-grandfather having better taste, please know that tastes and colors differ from person to person. It's understandable that you don't like the decor, but why make such a comment? The photos are on the establishment's website, in complete transparency. You would have made someone happy by booking elsewhere. Perhaps a Formula 1 would have been more suited to your stay. Also, please be aware that the restaurant industry has high standards, which you are certainly not aware of, since you say they overdo it. A fast-food restaurant would have been perfect for you." If you are looking for a place to stay in Luchon, I warmly recommend the Hôtel d'Etigny. Ideal location, opposite the thermal baths.

04/11/2025: Very friendly staff. The pizzas are very good and reasonably priced. Always on time with orders. Just one small question: I don't know if they plan to have a card reader for credit card payments in the future? Otherwise, nothing to complain about :)

13/10/2025: Hello, the girls are very friendly, but the pizzas are very average. I've been there 3 times and 3 times I couldn't stomach them, my wife didn't either. 😞😞 I think the ingredients aren't good quality, the frozen product isn't good. Too bad, I don't think I'll go back. It's weird because there are good reviews. 😞😞 Sorry.

05/12/2025: Perfect location, right in the city center, Place du Capitole. A perfect welcome worthy of the best hotels. Attentive and very friendly staff. Magnificent suite, large and clean. A lovely touch for my wife. The breakfast was plentiful and varied.

26/01/2026: I'm sorry, but as a long-time customer, I've noticed a clear decline in quality at your establishment. Recently, your staff were unable to serve dark chocolates upon request, even though this was previously possible. The response given was: -Not available! -Not possible! Or go to the Capitole! What a shame. But I'm ready to return, hoping for a likely improvement. Sincerely… A response has been provided. I am revising my rating to 5 stars. Thank you.

10/01/2026: Very disappointed. Having been a regular customer of the shop's exquisite flans, I just ate a raw flan with a runny filling... The slice was smaller than before, and the price... obviously higher. €4.00 for a runny slice of flan... I won't be going back.

20/12/2025: So, you shouldn't be in a hurry, nor be sensitive to the cold. Arrived at 12:15 pm, it took over 40 minutes to get the starter... a plate of foie gras, which was good, like the rest of the meal. A bit pricey though, considering the fries were frozen and the dishes were relatively simple. On the other hand, everything was very cold, and it's not at all pleasant to be cold while eating.

06/12/2024: A lovely discovery! The setting, the welcome, the service at the top. Everything was super good! Honestly when I see comments about the portions I'm surprised because we came out with full bellies. The menu to let yourself be carried away consisted of: Amuse bouche of hummus with harissa and bread, beet salad, typical broth, fish and its revered rice, couscous and a fruit salad! (For those with a sweet tooth, we missed the typical sweet touch :p) In addition it adapts to allergies and pregnant women's restrictions so it was really very pleasant! Can't wait to try it again with the kids.
