17/05/2026: Best meal we have had in France! Tagliatelle with fois gras, it was out of this world. The owner Jean- Paul, was welcoming and friendly. We had a delicious Gamay wine and local Bionde beer and wanted to stay for dinner. A delightful experience!

A truly lovely stopover, a place where you feel right at home, a warm welcome, impeccable service in the restaurant, and excellent food. As hikers and motorcyclists, we will definitely be back. 28/03/2026: A lovely little restaurant with a rustic mountain atmosphere. Large, generous portions at a very reasonable price. The owner is friendly and welcoming. My dog ​​was welcome, which was much appreciated. The place is clean. Parking nearby. Very well located (church, mini-market, etc.). I will definitely be back when the weather is nicer. 28/03/2026: The owner is fantastic, extremely kind and attentive to customers, dogs are welcome without any problem, and the portions are large and generous for a very reasonable price. The establishment is also clean, and there's parking right in front of the restaurant. I'll be back every time I'm in the area!

05/05/2026: Seats next to the toilet door with a broken bellhop, resulting in the door constantly slamming shut. The advertised meal was a mixed grill, two sausages with a third of an andouillette, accompanied by a handful of fries, which were actually good. Dessert was a strawberry tart of questionable freshness (the strawberries were moldy). I had been strongly advised against this place, and I understand why. Even the service was lacking. And paying the bill was an epic experience.

03/05/2026: Hotel and restaurant with excellent value for money. The welcome is very friendly, and the rooms are a good size. Only the bathroom is a bit small. Excellent meals, both at lunchtime and in the evening.

23/03/2026: We had a wonderful time as a group of four, and I'm so glad I changed my mind about this restaurant. I have to give a special mention to the hakao, which were truly delicious, as were the shrimp dumplings, and the desserts like the banana and apple fritters. However, I'm not a big fan of the caramel pork. The sauce was good, and the onions were too, but the quality of the meat was just average. In the evening, the service was smooth, and our young waitress, though new to the job, was very kind. Thank you for her warm welcome. The €19.50 set menu is good. We'll be back; for Brioude, that's already quite an achievement. One small bonus: before, we couldn't pay by credit card, but now we can. No more need to withdraw cash before coming, finally!
