06/09/2026: We had a meal there while visiting the village of Lavaudieu. The portions were generous and hearty. The salad comes from the garden, the cured ham is the real deal, the meat is fantastic, and the Bleu d'Auvergne sauce is absolutely divine! The desserts are homemade, and the potatoes dipped in sauces are a real treat! The welcome was warm and friendly. Kudos to the manager who handles both the service and the cooking brilliantly! Go for it without hesitation!

01/10/2026: We celebrated a birthday for 40 people, and everything was perfect. The meal was delicious and plentiful, the atmosphere warm and welcoming, and the service impeccable. The owners are charming and very attentive to our wishes for the organization of this party. Highly recommended.

25/09/2026: A very pleasant time spent on the terrace of this restaurant. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the owner came to greet his guests and offered them a complimentary infused rum. In short, a stop I highly recommend!

23/09/2026: After some research we decided to have dinner at Le Majestic 43 walking past after lunch made a Reservation with a lovely waiter called Florian( the Gentleman with a beard ) for Dinner that evening, speaking no French, he was extremely helpful making the booking for my wife and I, we returned later and had the most wonderful Entree and mains so much credit to the chef,but Florian made our night, he was very patient and friendly and most of all professional. It’s definitely a sign of a great restaurant when the food and service are excellent.

02/09/2026: Pleasant setting but menu frankly not up to the price: good foie gras but overcooked trout, light garnish and sloppy service: wine placed directly on the table without tasting it, waitress with untied hair almost sweeping away the dish served!

12/09/2026: Great little spot! We had a pizza to share with fries and everything was delicious, with really generous portions. The welcome was warm, the staff lovely, smiling, and pleasant. The prices are also very reasonable, so it's excellent value for money. A small village place just the way we like them: simple, friendly, and generous. We highly recommend it!

The service was provided by trainees who took away our appetizers before we'd even started. It was the same with the main course; one of us hadn't finished, while the trainee cleared the table quickly. Everything was very rushed; we didn't have time to enjoy it. It was the first time we'd introduced our cousins ​​to this restaurant. What a shame.
