There's a daily set menu for €28 with clearly labeled dishes, as well as surprise menus with 3, 5, or 6 courses, which can be paired with wines. For the surprise menus, different dishes are presented, from appetizer to dessert, ensuring that everyone eats something different. The concept is really appealing, the setting is equally charming, and both the chef and the waitstaff are attentive and welcoming. Many regional and seasonal products are used in the menu, from aperitif to dessert. A great place not to miss if you're in Le Puy-en-Velay, for around €70 including an aperitif and wine pairing.

09/05/2026: A good time, but the cheese platter was communal. Like, the same cheese platter passed from table to table 🤗 COVID seems so far away. Friendly welcome, excellent tarts, and I'm probably being too fussy, but still, there are basic hygiene standards.

Fresh ingredients, generous portions, an explosion of flavor for the taste buds... No words can adequately describe this place. You simply have to go there to appreciate it and truly understand. 23/06/2026: Excellent, generous cuisine, prepared with heart and a genuine desire to please. They truly care about ensuring you have a good time, the staff is incredibly attentive, and the chef even comes to greet you. I loved my visit and will definitely be back soon.

10/05/2026: The room was not the one we had booked; it had a double bed instead of two twin beds. Our email exchanges were quite clear on this point. We couldn't change rooms because the hotel was full... we only saw two other guests. Then came a second explanation: the family room we had booked hadn't been cleaned. What's the point of checking out at 10:00 AM and not checking back in until 5:30 PM? A room can be cleaned in 30 minutes, after all. There was no compensation whatsoever for the rather inconvenient experience of having to share a bed with my sister, only a half-hearted apology. The bedding was very uncomfortable. Since the hostel doesn't serve dinner, you can order a charcuterie and cheese platter in advance, but the price of €18 per person is prohibitive.

28/04/2026: The meal was very good, it's a shame the welcome was so unfriendly and unprofessional. It's true that we arrived with 7 people instead of 5... a serious mistake.

They all accommodating our many requests, such as eating slowly or managing several food allergies. We received a very warm welcome. The menu selection is varied, with something for everyone. The wine list is also very comprehensive, and we received valuable advice on choosing the perfect wine to complement our dishes. The service was impeccable, and we enjoyed being able to see into the kitchen. Everyone was delighted with their meal. Thank you to the entire team who took such good care of us.

A very complete and well-organized buffet! A real treat! Food: Very few local products! Not even Puy lentils... the menu is very limited. What a shame! Furthermore, the chef is, in my opinion, overwhelmed too easily...

11/06/2026: Long wait (three tables, selling dishes that are no longer available). As for information about the menu, forget about getting answers (or not!). The starter was really small for the price! Luckily, the main course had cilantro, otherwise it had no flavor. On the plus side, the side salad was good!

21/05/2026: I go there regularly and I'm never disappointed. The welcome and the staff are top-notch. The food is very, very good and there's a lot of choice. Everything is homemade, which makes the place even nicer. There are tons of different desserts, all delicious, and the same goes for the appetizers! The price is very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the ingredients, which is superb. 👍

04/06/2026: We had a wonderful weekend at the end of May celebrating Julie and Cyrill's wedding. This hotel and restaurant is very peaceful, the food is excellent, and the nights are restful and pleasant. Numerous activities are available on-site (swimming pool, jacuzzi, paddleboarding, hiking, treetop adventure park, etc.). The hotel has a family history, with four generations having run it since the 1940s, and it's still going strong today. Thank you to the manager and the entire team.
