23/05/2026: A fantastic welcome, even though we arrived a bit early due to the weather (riding a motorcycle in the hail was rough). The rooms are simple but spacious and spotlessly clean. The restaurant is just like the hotel: quality dishes at reasonable prices, as are the drinks. In short, an ideal place to then explore the area on a motorcycle ride. Looking forward to returning!

22/07/2026: I had a great time with my colleague. We weren't in a very good mood when we arrived, but we were warmly welcomed by Jeremy, who was very patient despite our questionable humor. We left in a much better mood. I highly recommend it!

22/07/2026: I enjoyed eating something hot in a cool place during the summer. There are plenty of options for building your own taco, and the hygiene is top-notch. I recommend it.

23/08/2026: We spent three nights in this small hotel. The room was renovated, comfortable, and very clean. The owners are very friendly. The breakfast was plentiful. Good value for money. Highly recommended.

23/08/2026: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A wonderful discovery at the Le Tétras mountain restaurant in Risoul! It has everything you expect from a true mountain restaurant: a family atmosphere, a warm welcome, and a smiling team that takes the time to connect with its customers. The dishes are generous, deliciously prepared, and perfect after a morning hike. You can feel the family spirit at the heart of the establishment, and it truly makes all the difference. The view is magnificent, and the atmosphere is friendly; you feel right at home as soon as you arrive. It's the kind of place we recommend without hesitation and where we want to return every time we're in Risoul. Thank you to the whole team for this wonderful experience!

15/08/2026: A very pleasant setting for a hiking stopover. The food was quite good. The waitress was friendly and efficient, but the gentleman (the owner, I believe) seemed bothered by our presence and was very unpleasant. It's a shame he was the only negative point of our family outing.

13/08/2026: An hour's wait for two very average quality pizzas.

11/08/2026: If I'd been served a cheap frozen supermarket pizza, I wouldn't have noticed the difference. The ingredients were mediocre quality. There was a mistake in the order, so we ate our pizzas one at a time, without any apology. The woman I assume was the owner was incredibly unpleasant, not a single kind word. She even had the nerve to ask my colleague to help her clear her dishes! 😂 We felt like we were intruding. I would have told her exactly what I thought if someone had asked us how things went.

18/08/2026: Terrible! We waited an absurd amount of time and couldn't understand a thing about the menu. Terrible service, unfriendly staff, flies everywhere, truly disgusting, enough to make you want to vomit. I've attached photos if you don't believe me. Exorbitant prices given the terrible quality of the food; the meat was served practically raw, so we left it half-cooked. Flies on the food, on the glasses, fly swatters on the table, truly disgusting. Rotten salad, just like the rest of this place. They forgot to serve us lasagna, thank goodness. Never again. At least they had the decency to apologize and offer coffee, the only positive note.

11/06/2026: Lovely campsite just behind the lake. Excellent location for cycling. The campsite has a load of suggested routes which you can download the gpx files for making route planning so easy. The facilities are quality and there's two bars/restaurants by the lakeside.

06/06/2026: Stayed a few nights in campsite, great individual pitches, separated with hedges and trees. We were near the only ones. Nice swimming pool

29/07/2026: The worst McDonald's in the world. It's expensive. Full of flies. And my Coke was a mix of Oasis and Coke... rubbish.

28/07/2026: Noisy fast food. Staff sighing at the slightest request... where has the sense of business gone in this country?

07/08/2026: There was a mistake on the bill, and the owner asked us if anyone knew how her till worked; the owner just wanted us to pay. €8 for a bottle of water? This restaurant is a joke.

17/08/2026: Very slow service, 10 minutes for a glass of water. Nice atmosphere because it overlooks the snow front. Good because it's one of the few places that makes sweet crepes, Nutella, etc. SUPER SLOW SERVICE

15/08/2026: Excellent value for money. The ribeye steak was very tender, the desserts delicious, and the service impeccable. Family atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

05/08/2026: Grom pistachio ice cream was excellent, and Nutella crepes were also very good. The service was very pleasant and friendly.

04/08/2026: It's a shame to have to wait 1 hour and 15 minutes for the dish of the day...
