25/08/2026: A lovely and pleasant apartment in the heart of the village of Veynes. A very quiet and charming village. The apartment met our expectations, even though we only spent a few hours (sleeping) there. It was well-equipped, and the bed was comfortable. The complimentary coffee and tea pods were a great touch. There's a small square with parking spaces right in front of the apartment. We were attending a wedding and didn't get back until 5:00 AM, so we still managed to find a very small parking spot. It's a 5-minute walk to the Veynes arcades community hall. Thank you for your hospitality.

16/08/2026: Apartment rental on the way back from vacation, very convenient and ideally located. There are parking lots and restaurants right next door. The apartment was clean, and the bedding was impeccable. Plus, there was a small balcony and a kitchenette with a kettle and microwave.

25/08/2026: A chance stop to explore Embrun. We stopped at this little restaurant where we enjoyed a hearty mountain platter. We weren't disappointed by this break; the welcome was friendly and the food was good quality and reasonably priced. 👏

20/08/2026: Mixed reception, the owner's attire was sloppy, cleanliness questionable, the restaurant was practically empty (only two tables, including ours) so the service was quick. The crêpe filling was okay, but the galette itself was burnt. The set menu price was very reasonable.

21/04/2026: Overnight stay at the Hôtel de la Gare (Lacour) Where the room is perfectly adequate for a few nights, the evening meal is a delight, featuring simple ingredients prepared with taste and skill... The staff is pleasant and helpful. Excellent value for money.

14/04/2026: I had a very pleasant (too short) stay. The welcome was charming, the room very clean, spacious, and quiet with a balcony overlooking the garden. I had the pleasure of dining at the hotel restaurant: Châteauroux trout with butter and toasted slivered almonds, served with braised seasonal vegetables – a delight! I highly recommend this establishment and can't wait to return soon! Thank you for this rejuvenating break.

06/08/2026: A great place to eat in Briançon after a walk (they were welcomed after 2 pm!), with a friendly atmosphere and delicious food. Excellent value for money in the heart of the Gargoyle district. We'll remember it! 😀

26/07/2026: This bar mainly functions as a restaurant. The location is pleasant, right in front of the old town church, whose name is La Collégiale, hence thé restaurant name. It was a bit windy that evening, with a few annoying gusts, but overall it was quite pleasant, and a bit of cool air was even welcome. We tried two typical dishes: a tartiflette and a gratin dish of crozets (buckwheat pasta squares), both with lots of local cheese. My dish also had bacon, and the crozets had onion, but ultimately they were very similar in flavor. Overall, though, even though I love cheese, I found both to be almost cloying, and even a bit heavy. Quick and kind service.

21/08/2026: We arrived at 8 pm, the time we had booked. They took our drink order, and before we could be served, other people arrived and were served first, both for drinks and food. While those who arrived later than us were already eating, they hadn't even taken our food order yet. When one of us went to ask what was happening, they finally came to take our order. It took them more than two hours to serve our food; I'm not exaggerating. By 10 pm we still hadn't been served. The pizzas left much to be desired… I think it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had.

20/08/2026: The only couple to enter the pizzeria on this stormy evening! And we had a wonderful evening enjoying deliciously thin and generously topped pizzas and chatting with the owner and waitress – almost like an evening with friends 🤩...we highly recommend it 👍

10/08/2026: If underground chic is worth a €12.50 pint of IPA, you might as well just have a drink right in front of the Eiffel Tower... Frankly, it's become a pure tourist trap. I've known the place for years, and the prices keep going up while the place is completely run-down. Keeping the place "as it was" was the original idea, and it was great, but now it's clearly reached its limits. Charging people an arm and a leg for such mediocre service is outrageous. In short, it's a well-orchestrated marketing campaign, but the musicians deserve so much better than this place.

17/10/2025: Fantastic! There were five of us and we had a great time. Very friendly atmosphere, and the food was excellent. They stayed open until 9 pm, even though it was closed. I highly recommend it.

01/06/2026: Had a nice visit here. The rooms are simple but clean and practical. The whole building is an older inn so don’t expect fancy trappings but it’s a nice place nonetheless. Was arriving a bit late but the staff were happy to host us in the restaurant. The food was tasty and with a bunch of locally sourced vegetables and meats. The breakfast was fairly simple, not a huge selection, but the tables were neatly set, there were some croissants and jams, some cereals and coffee and juice. The ambiance of the whole place was relaxed, so nothing formal, no attempts to act overly fancy, or overly service oriented but also down to earth, happy to chat a bit and ensure needs were met. I’d happily return.

17/05/2026: A woman (smoking outside in an apron, to illustrate the point) who raises her eyes when you ask a question—you wouldn't guess there's an outside area behind her! A little kindness and a smile are free and can pay off big time; in this case, we turned around and left. What a shame...

06/04/2026: Clean and practical room. Nice bathroom. A bit noisy on the boulevard side, and the pillows were much too big! Nice breakfast

05/04/2026: The hotel is very well located and very close to my work location. The staff I encountered were courteous and friendly, and the service was of a very high standard.

15/04/2026: A very nice little inn in Plan de Vitrolles where we had lunch with my son and grandson. We received a very warm welcome. Friendly owners and good home-style cooking.

04/05/2026: A really nice restaurant, they welcomed us with a smile despite the crowd, however, the portions could perhaps be a little smaller to be truly satisfied after a long day of skiing, and being served a small expired Coke was a bit odd.

10/11/2025: Thank you to the restaurant owners for their warm welcome and kindness; as we say back home, they treated us to a wonderful meal. I highly recommend the cheese selection, especially the crème brûlée—wow, excellent! High-quality products, you won't be disappointed. I'll be back.
