11/08/2024: Lunch for 6 people on Friday August 9, 2024. Excellent welcome, very smiling and very efficient service and above all excellent dishes. For my part, excellent smoked trout and hearty dish. 26€ per person with aperitif, dessert and coffee.

16/09/2024: Passing through the restaurant: warm welcome. Very pleasant waitress, smiling and professional (pretty to boot). The very pleasant oenologist offers an exceptional wine list. The dishes are worthy of a gourmet restaurant and the cheese cart is exceptional. The setting is magnificent. I will come back and recommend this superb restaurant.

09/07/2025: A very nice experience, with 3 cheese fondue and Morbiflette on the menu for us. It was plentiful and very good. A very warm welcome and a nice atmosphere. A wide selection on the menu. Finally, some reasonably priced non-alcoholic cocktails!

06/07/2025: Five of us went to lunch this afternoon at the Comtoise tavern. It wasn't warm, and the waiter agreed to close one window but told me he wouldn't close the second one. We ordered an aperitif, and the kirs were lukewarm. As soon as we started drinking them, our hot dishes arrived. We went there because the restaurant was well-reviewed, but we were disappointed, even though the dishes we ordered were decent.

03/12/2024: I liked it as it is good for a truck driver. Parking for LKV somewhere for 40-50 cars. Mini cost 17.90e, this full price includes food. The toilet is clean, there is no shower.

28/11/2024: Roadside restaurant that lives with its regulars. Average cuisine. The paupiette is way overcooked and is really not a paupiette. The crème brûlée is just not burnt. So it becomes a cream with sugar on top. For €16.90 it’s really limited.. The wait is long.

22/10/2023: Honestly, nothing to say. Booking 2 nights for a romantic weekend, the boss carried out the request I had made to him in terms of room decoration. The restaurant is great, we ate very well there. Good and delicious. The staff is attentive, friendly, welcoming.... Very generous breakfast. I recommend 200%

01/11/2024: Merci chers restaurateurs pour le plaisir que vous nous donnez dans l’assiette et dans l’accueil ! On se sent bien chez vous et la cuisine maison est un régal. Spécialités comtoises délicieuses, mais aussi la croûte aux bons champignons d’automne, le jarret de porc confit (une tuerie!), la bavette… Un restaurant à connaître absolument !

01/09/2024: Very warm welcome. The waitress is very friendly, attentive and gives good advice. We ate a kebab plate and an adana skewer. Everything was very good, tasty. A great discovery, completely by chance... It's a shame that our stay is coming to an end, we would have happily returned.

03/08/2024: Op het eerste zicht niet erg veelbelovend, maar mooie suggestiekaart. Zeer goed gegeten, zowel de gamba’s als de zwezeriken correct klaar gemaakt. Leuk terras, vriendelijke bediening. Enkel de wijnkaart mocht iets uitgebreider en lokaler.

No, before that, you will unfortunately have to go through the witch who runs the place. Indeed, I had the responsibility of having to find an exceptional establishment to organize an exceptional meal for the retirement of an exceptional man. It all starts with visiting the site. Unfortunately I did not find the personalized service I wanted. I try an email explaining the request and the surprise we wanted. I take the time to detail over ten lines to highlight the importance of this gift. In response: “please refer to our site” So I decided to call, specifying that I had of course visited their site without finding what I was looking for. I come across the haughty witch who explains to me that she has no time to waste, who cuts me off, asks me to get to the subject of my call but cuts me off. The nerves are building but I take it upon myself. This is a gift. That is my objective. Nothing happens. She explains to me that she is the boss and that she did what she wanted. No time to explain and place one. This is too much. I told him stop, I wouldn't put 1 euro in your establishment. We leave it there. Just writing it still makes my teeth grind. Run away. So much bad vibes and gratuitous nastiness deserves only the minimum possible.

The meal itself was a real feast. We opted for a **four-course** menu, followed by a **cheese** platter and **dessert**. Suffice it to say, it was **plenty**, but every bite was a treat. The dishes were not only delicious, but also perfectly balanced, combining finesse and generosity. The chef demonstrates great mastery in the harmony of flavors and the choice of products, which made every moment of the meal unforgettable. Another striking element of the experience at La Chaumière is the attentive presence of the chef. He takes the time to regularly visit the tables to interact with the guests. This gesture adds a very human touch and further strengthens the link between the kitchen and the customers, which is not always common in starred establishments.
