28/10/2025: I didn't try the restaurant, but it seems to have a good reputation. The rooms are comfortable, quiet, and well-heated, but strangely, not even a bar of soap, nothing! They're really penny-pinching. Breakfast is fine for those who appreciate the purely French trio of bread, butter, and jam. No pastries (just a slice of brioche), no cheese or cold cuts; perhaps out of season you get the bare minimum, but for €14, still... here too, the impression is that breakfast also seems to be on the cheap. A shame, because the welcome was good, the location was good, the parking was good, and the room was nice.

25/10/2025: I hadn't been back to this gourmet restaurant since chef Joël Césari's retirement. After a very charming welcome, we all chose the three-course menu at my table. The taste surprises are there and the presentation of the dishes is very careful. The menu changes with the seasons. Yesterday, I really enjoyed the appetizers as well as the poultry dish. The meal ended in style with two desserts, including a very surprising and succulent gentian dessert. The new chef, Laurent Barberot, has succeeded in raising the bar even higher!

10/12/2024: Locale pittoresco e molto accogliente molto conosciuto ad Arbois. Si mangia dignitosamente spendendo pochissimo, eccellente il carrello dei formaggi, consigliatissimo per l'aperitivo, si bevono bellissime bottiglie a prezzi onestissimi, staff molto gentile e disponibile.

13/10/2024: Sur la route de nos vacances nous avons fait une halte pour déjeuner à Arbois au bistrot des Claquets. On se sent tout de suite à l'aise dans ce petit resto à la décoration vintage où l'on est accueilli avec le sourire dans une ambiance décontractée. Cuisine familiale et goûteuse comme on aime !!!! Bon rapport qualité prix...on ne peut faire que des compliments ...

09/07/2025: For the first time, I ordered takeaway for a family meal and I was extremely satisfied. The dishes (pikeperch terrine and veal with morels) were very tasty (the terrine sauce was truly exceptional!) and the portions very generous for a very reasonable price. Everyone enjoyed it, I will definitely order other meals in the future

21/11/2024: Tout d'abord le lieu sous une cave voutée, attention aux marches loin des turbulences numériques, un repos. Gouter la fondue au vin jaune et aux morilles, fabuleux, avec un verre de vin jaune. La carte se complète de plats jurassiens, et vous avez le choix. La réservation est recommandée et à cet effet demander la grande salle avec vue sur la cave de vins derrière une armoire en verre. Service rapide à l'écoute et souriant. Et ce n'est pas la première fois.

The beers on offer were Heineken and Hoogarden, and I was asked for an extra charge because Hoogarden wasn't included in the menu, without being told. For those who would like to treat themselves, move on...

09/07/2025: A very nice experience, with 3 cheese fondue and Morbiflette on the menu for us. It was plentiful and very good. A very warm welcome and a nice atmosphere. A wide selection on the menu. Finally, some reasonably priced non-alcoholic cocktails!

06/07/2025: Five of us went to lunch this afternoon at the Comtoise tavern. It wasn't warm, and the waiter agreed to close one window but told me he wouldn't close the second one. We ordered an aperitif, and the kirs were lukewarm. As soon as we started drinking them, our hot dishes arrived. We went there because the restaurant was well-reviewed, but we were disappointed, even though the dishes we ordered were decent.

06/12/2025: Fourth stay at the cottage, still just as happy. The superior rooms are very nice, clean, and quiet. The staff is pleasant and friendly, both at the hotel and in the restaurant. Kudos to the chef who delights us with homemade regional cuisine, including the desserts. The breakfast buffet is well-stocked and delicious. There are three motorcycle tours available, and covered parking is provided if needed. We will be back.
