20/08/2026: Excellent restaurant. The dishes were superb (perfectly cooked ham hock and top-notch fish). The plates were beautifully presented and the food was delicious. A special mention for the cognac selection: we had the pleasure of tasting the Lheraud Petite Champagne Cuvée 20, served directly from a stunning bottle. A true delight—round, complex, and perfectly presented. Attentive service, pleasant atmosphere… in short, a fantastic restaurant in Dole that I highly recommend. We'll definitely be back!

09/08/2026: When we arrived, the restaurant was packed and fully booked. We don't speak French, but one of the servers noticed our difficulty and welcomed us in anyway. The staff was incredibly kind, and the food was amazing—which explains why the place was so busy. Highly recommend. I had the duck and my girlfriend had the fish; both were wonderful. 09/08/2026: Very good food, good ingredients, but a long wait between courses

07/08/2026: The meal was completely tasteless for children. The beef was okay, but the waitress was unfriendly and barely smiled. I told her about the ice cream, as she had a peanut allergy. The ice cream arrived with peanuts in it. Luckily, my daughter noticed them. She immediately changed my order and brought another ice cream, and this time she said, "Mom, I see pieces of peanuts!" It turned out they had removed the whipped cream and put it back on the same ice cream with peanuts. It was disastrous for my daughter. We had left the first-aid kit in the car. Thank goodness she saw it. I find it irresponsible of her and of whoever prepared the ice cream with large pieces of peanuts. Be careful if you have allergies. I do not recommend this restaurant. Thank you. I'm someone who travels a lot and I visit resources where I leave reviews, whether good, excellent, or bad... the same goes for hotels... I don't recommend this restaurant.

09/07/2026: This restaurant was born from the meeting of Alsace and the Jura, much to the delight of our taste buds. Charlotte welcomes you with her cheerful disposition and smile. The dishes are prepared with fresh, seasonal, and local products. We had a wonderful time. Don't change a thing!

16/05/2026: We had a wonderful time at Le Galoupet restaurant. Charlotte was exceptionally welcoming and gave us excellent advice. The meal was excellent, unpretentious, and very affordable. Charlotte, keep up your sense of humor! It's a shame we're not from the area because I think this restaurant would become our go-to spot!

In addition, Laurent offers a very nice wine list at reasonable prices. The service and welcome were superb 👏 Very rare these days. Catherine and Laurent are very professional and would go out of their way to satisfy their guests. Highly recommended.

06/08/2026: A wonderful experience at this restaurant, where everything was perfect from start to finish 👍. A very warm welcome, a very friendly waiter, and an excellent meal 👌. Homemade, just the way we like it 😍. It's quite popular, so it's best to book in advance (which we did ✔️). The setting is lovely, ideal before visiting the cave. I recommend this restaurant 100% and don't pay attention to the few negative reviews, which are absurd and surprising! The shaded terrace is very pleasant in the summer. Thank you to the chef for this delightful meal; we will definitely be back!

23/05/2026: Very disappointing. We relied on the reviews before choosing this restaurant. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to our expectations; the Jura fondue was really not very good. The charcuterie that came with it didn't really have any flavor either (I don't think it was actually local charcuterie). As for the service, we really felt like we were intruding as soon as we walked in.

After climbing the few steps to the front porch, the terrace offers its first tables. The nearby river provides a refreshing and tranquil atmosphere. Then comes the entrance, where the renovation has preserved the building's authenticity. Moldings, parquet floors, fireplaces, and mirrors—everything is there, and the restaurant's furnishings perfectly complement this incredible setting. Then comes the moment when, after a pleasant aperitif, the dishes arrive. The tuna tataki is perfect, enhanced by a sesame crust that finds its perfect expression in this dish. It's a generous portion, but my appetite compels me to finish it and eagerly await the veal chop. When it arrives, it's pure bliss. Perfectly cooked! The very reason why the price becomes almost irrelevant. Your taste buds are pampered by a virtuoso, unsurpassed in my kitchen, that much is clear. It's a delight. I confess I skipped dessert, so captivated was I by the two preceding courses. The review wouldn't be complete without mentioning the bill, which, considering the evening and without holding back on drinks, came to just under one hundred euros per person. This is perfectly reasonable given the quality of the experience, because a good meal is all about ambiance, service, and mastery of culinary art. Thank you.
