13/09/2024: The concept of molds is atypical! We pour a ladle over the mussels, for us garlic parsley, the shells are filled with it and those below there is nothing!! So we have to mix everything ourselves if we want to have some flavor. The fries are too bad!! Holiday checks accepted but half the bill 🤔🤔!! Well for once the boss accepted the whole thing!!

14/08/2024: Rejected! Several guests were finished and just had to pay. There was a free table outside. Nevertheless, we were turned away 1 hour before closing time. The ladies didn't even bother to offer us anything.

06/08/2024: Passing through the area we had lunch at 2 p.m. Very well received, the food was good with fast service.

20/07/2024: Alert alert!!! I've been in Capbreton for almost 10 years... I came to this place for dinner on a whim. I'm disappointed I didn't go there before... Ladies and gentlemen... don't hesitate for a moment... rush in without thinking.

31/08/2024: Nice welcome, that’s all.. Need to see again for some server! Should think about cleaning the domes and removing the canvases (it's almost Halloween but still) a little stingy on the fries! 3€ per small supplement, bottled mayonnaise, and I'm still a little expensive! disappointed.

28/08/2024: In a very pleasant location, on the edge of a small lake, beautiful terrace and large interior rooms, ideal for weddings, birthdays... unfortunately we had a hard time. Despite our reservation the table was not ready, we were offered one supposedly in a good location: the only one half in the sun. Then we wait, wait... other people arrive, we clear the tables for them (in the shade) we offer them a drink and we take their order, we wait... finally we come and take our order without never asked us if we would like to have a few things to drink first. The dishes that pass seem friendly and well served, mine: suckling pig consisting of vague pieces of meat full of small bones, all very dry. The other dishes were good. Overall disappointed, but maybe worth another chance.

12/08/2024: We didn't stay at the hotel but just had dinner at the restaurant, which was delicious! Simple and very well executed traditional cuisine. We had a blast! The service was provided by the owner's mother, which made us feel like we were going to dinner at our grandmother's house. I recommend! :)

25/08/2024: Very mixed opinion: average welcome despite our reservation, much less refined cuisine than with the previous owners, and big surprise when paying the bill! 80€ for 2 adults and 2 children while we had main course + dessert... We are not sure we will return.

19/09/2024: A hotel in a particularly pleasant and quiet location. An extremely warm welcome, which puts you in good conditions to enjoy your stay in this place. A very above average meal with tasty and very well prepared dishes. Quality restaurant service with people who know how to adapt to customers, the meal seems all the better. I recommend this hotel for a relaxing and wonderful taste experience.

17/08/2024: Je ne comprends pas pourquoi ce restaurant n’est pas le premier sur Messanges. Nous avons fait tous les resto de la ville en quinze jours et celui ci est deux classes au dessus des autres. Le tajine est fait par un vrai cuisinière. C’est sucré, gourmand, fondant généreux… tellement bon nous sommes retournés mangés la même chose deux fois en une semaine. Sinon La table était majestueuse sous la tente, très cosy. Les serveurs au top. Merci pour cette soirée. Ça faisait longtemps que je n’avais pas été autant satisfait par tant de saveurs.

14/09/2024: Pleasant setting, very good food, however the service needs to be reviewed: we felt judged after asking for the allergen card (severe food allergy), the raising of the waiters' eyebrows should remain private and not in front of customers!

14/09/2024: A very beautiful terrace facing the lake, a great welcome from the whole team, including during service. we had a foie gras menu with prawns as a starter, tuna cod fillet, profiteroles and tiramisu, everything was delicious and very fine. a very nice address to recommend without hesitation. Be careful to book in peak season.
