22/10/2024: Restaurant très sympa dans le centre ville de Mimizan proche des commerces et du lieu de résidence pour le weekend. Il y a beaucoup de monde, de tous les âges et une bonne ambiance. Les plats sont bons et les serveurs sont rapides et efficaces. C'est un endroit incontournable de Mimizan pour une soirée sympa dans un restaurant.

02/10/2024: Jolie brasserie où sont servis des plats du terroir de très bonne qualité et pas chèr, plat du jour trois services à 16,90 euros. Très bon acceuil. A conseiller,j'y retournerai.

22/09/2024: Even after the owners have changed, the Auberge du Born remains a good address. The food is good, as is the wine selection. The service is simply super nice and helpful. We find the atmosphere very appealing. We'd love to come back.

Inedible pizza, only poor quality ingredients, Cheese if you can call it tasteless cheese, canned tomato sauce, pizza dough that would kill a real Italian on the spot.. the only thing that seems fresh is the mushrooms and even then they are very softened.. you can smell the profitability+++ Do you want real junk food? Go for it . I couldn't finish... Yuck. To finish frozen dessert.. And the prices...

18/08/2024: well placed but hungry breakfast. a buffet hidden at the back of the bar made up of bread, pastries and industrial compotes. the rest is empty, no yogurts or cereals, etc. at 8:30 a.m.!

10/01/2025: We frequented the old Bordeaux formula where you could finish the meal with crepes flambées prepared in front of you... unfortunately our experience of a lunch on December 31 did not convince us. The semi-cooked foie gras that we shared honored the Landes region. A cassolette of squids offered as a starter for 14 euros delivered you perfectly formatted squids extracted from distant oceans... doubtless judging it insufficient for an average appetite, the waiter recommended a little too urgently an additional fries still priced at 6, 90 euros!!! The veal chop was a good size and of good quality as advertised with chanterelles... in Lilliputian quantity and overcooked. With a single dessert at 4.50 euros and a Cotes de Gascogne wine at 19 euros first price the bill came to 87.10 euros. At this price you can ask for tablecloths and cloth napkins, a service which is not limited to asking who took what but observes some old criteria such as serving on the same side, serving Madame first. At 1 p.m., despite very average attendance, there was no longer a daily menu which did not offer any choice. You will find in neighboring Spain a restaurant with a menu for 24.50 euros where after a careful appetizer you can choose between 4 starters, 4 main courses and 4 desserts… wine included. You are served on tablecloths with cloth napkins. The differential is very much to the disadvantage of Bordeaux. You can go, we will move on………

14/09/2024: Do not pay attention to bad comments, which are unfounded! The pizzas are excellent, EVERYTHING is HOMEMADE right down to the tomato sauce! I have been a customer for 10 years, and I no longer eat pizzas elsewhere, the dough is slightly thick for my taste but can be eaten without hunger! The cleanliness, atmosphere, welcome and decor are impeccable. Kiss the haters! ✌️

14/09/2024: We have been frequenting this pizzeria for years, this evening I present my full loyalty card I should have had a free one and then no because the manager notes the "large or small" pizza purchased on your card and depending on that you get it will have free or not! I got a reduction but I still had to pay 5eur, unacceptable for the price they are + the price of the full loyalty card! Last time here. (+ hairs several times in pizzas)

18/01/2025: This is a great plan in this wonderful town. This place only offers mussels, sardines, shrimp and squid. Everything is grilled and the mussels and prawns are spiced with a curry base. Everything is too good and with the perfect accompaniment: French fries. The atmosphere is completely local, there are only long inns and everything is very dynamic.

31/08/2024: Endroit agréable et serveur sympathique. Les moules et les frites très bien par contre la salade cesar que de la salade avec 3 tout petits morceaux de poulet et 4 copeaux de parmesan...j'ai demandé du pain bon il y en avait plus. On m'a amené des tartines très dur. J'avoue être très decue

12/11/2025: I don't stay at the hotel because I live next door. As for the restaurant, it offers excellent value for money. I eat there regularly; it's clean, the service is top-notch, and the food is very good, including the desserts. I also had the paella there recently; it was very good and particularly generous, and my accompanying salad was impeccable. That being said, considering the portion size and the quantity of different meats and seafood, I think the salad is unnecessary, and the dish is perfectly satisfying on its own. See you soon.

24/10/2025: It's better not to use salad as a garnish for a dish than to use salad that's more than questionable and has gone bad. Uninteresting supermarket bread, the only paella dish tasted burnt, dry, everything was overcooked with battery-fed chicken, we left almost everything out. When the owner asked us if it had been despite that, my husband replied no, the owner said it was a matter of taste... Indeed, not everyone is allowed to question things.

18/09/2024: C’était super bon les croquette au fromage une turie . Les serveurs au top ben est souriant et nous conseil sur les vins . Le tartar succulent et la focaccia incroyable .une adresse à ne pas louper sur Dax
