18/09/2026: We had lunch there. The staff was pleasant and the service was quick. It's a bit pricey and the portions are small. Let me explain. The ocean view is fantastic. However, we paid €29 for a Caesar salad (very good and quite substantial) and a rather flat panini that didn't satisfy a man with a decent appetite, plus two cans of soda (Coke and Oasis). So it was a bit expensive considering he was still hungry when he left. Our friend had a savory waffle, which was relatively hard and dry. The filling was good, but it also wasn't enough for her. *No toilets; you have to use the public restrooms across the street, which are deplorable. *Paid parking.

06/09/2026: The service leaves much to be desired, I feel like I'm really bothering them... not a smile, nothing, I won't be back.

03/06/2026: Imagine my surprise when I checked my emails at 8 p.m. (after work), the day of my arrival, to find that your establishment, which I had booked in advance and for which you confirmed my reservation, had cancelled my booking that very morning. I received no call to inform me directly. Since I don't check my emails regularly during the day, I only noticed the cancellation far too late. I was thus left without accommodation for the night. This situation is particularly regrettable and demonstrates a clear lack of consideration for customers.

10/10/2026: I've been going to this place for years. And it's clearly changed a lot. The atmosphere was nice and usual until 10:30 PM, then it suddenly shifted to a completely different vibe: loud music, Jul, and awful rap. I asked if it was just a fluke, but it went on until we decided to leave. I won't be going back anytime soon, despite the many memories I have of this place. What a disappointment. Has it become just another neighborhood betting shop?

15/09/2026: This bar is incredibly boring; I recommend going somewhere else. The owner serves you beer that's so bad you could throw it away to save money, aka Georges.

17/09/2026: I stopped by today (September 17, 2026, around 1:30/2:00 PM) and encountered a very kind and helpful saleswoman. The sandwiches were very good (delicious bread), as were the pastries. However, the cleanliness of the premises was lacking; it was poorly maintained.

12/09/2026: What can I say... I ordered a praline brioche... I expected a brioche with praline inside, like I usually get when I order a St. Genix (the real name for the praline brioche)... the result was one praline shattered into pieces on top... and nothing else... absolutely no flavor... and the price for that...

26/09/2026: Huge disappointment. We've been twice before in previous years, and the food was great and the welcome was pleasant. But that was before 🤣. Tonight, we came back as a couple for our 5th anniversary, and alas, it was nothing like it used to be. The welcome was simply unacceptable. The waitress, dressed in jeans and shoes, left much to be desired for an establishment that promises to be so much more. She was very unpleasant and, above all, unprofessional. The third course was very rushed; I didn't really understand what had happened. The meal was cold. I ordered fries to go with the sea bream, and I got some kind of mush, which was inedible. I can't even say what dessert was because I received no explanation. Was it a tartlet? A soggy paste with gelatin and whipped cream that were simply inedible. For my partner, all cold dishes... Very, very disappointed. You really need to rethink your approach because this is unacceptable and, above all, unprofessional.

26/06/2026: The food was excellent, but the service was terrible. We were told that it wasn't the right price for a Friday and that Groupon was rubbish. Furthermore, the menu we were given was nothing like the one advertised. This is the first time this has happened to us in over 10 years of using Groupon. The meal itself was still good, though.

05/09/2026: Having been coming to Navarosse for a few years now, we'd been wanting to try Les Ecureuils for a while. The waiter was very friendly and always had a joke to lighten the mood! As for the food, it was generous, affordable, and delicious!!! We'll definitely be back! Thanks to the team and best of luck for the rest of the season!

21/08/2026: Fantastic find! We were staying at the campsite next door for a week and ate at Les Écureuils four times because it was such a treat! The staff were incredibly helpful, the servers were really responsive and welcoming, not to mention the food, which was flawless every time. We highly recommend the tartares, which are excellent (chimichurri and Italian), and the value for money is perfect. The atmosphere was great too; the concert on Tuesday the 18th was fantastic! We have nothing but positive things to say about this place!

05/09/2026: After work, we stopped by for a drink and ordered just three. The two managers looked at each other, wondering which one would get up to serve us, which gave a very bad first impression. On our second order, we had to ask for our drinks twice while both women were sitting on their phones. Furthermore, the glass of water we requested still hadn't arrived. When I asked for it again, I really felt like I was bothering them. It's a shame, because a warm welcome and good service are essential elements in this business. An unpleasant experience that unfortunately doesn't make us want to return.

23/08/2026: The gizzard salad is not recommended and, above all, very expensive. It doesn't look anything like the photos on the website. The gizzard isn't fresh (probably from Intermarché) and the salad looks like plastic. The ribeye steak doesn't weigh 350 grams. The meat is full of gristle. The service is deplorable, and the owner needs to learn how to treat customers. When you politely ask for a chair, she brushes you off. It's a shame because the setting is lovely, opposite the market; great untapped potential. I absolutely do not recommend it, especially in a country known for foie gras and fine food. Not good and overpriced.
