17/08/2026: An excellent restaurant in Coutances! We had a wonderful time at the Restaurant de l’Hôtel de Ville. The welcome was warm, the staff were friendly and pleasant, and the food was truly delicious, with generous and flavorful dishes. Special mention goes to the excellent value for money. The setting is convivial and the atmosphere very pleasant. I highly recommend this restaurant; we will definitely be back!

21/08/2026: While on holiday in Cherbourg, we were won over by the Gascon and mountain galettes – absolutely delicious! But a word of advice: reserve them in advance, otherwise… you're unlikely to get to enjoy them.

Despite our last-minute reservation, the entire team gave us a very warm welcome, and the owner even went so far as to drive us back to the entrance of Mont Saint-Michel after the restaurant closed. Highly recommended!

14/08/2026: Lovely place to have lunch after visiting the village and the Airborne Museum. In addition to a restaurant with an extensive menu, there is also a shop. Ordering in English is possible. Easily accessible by car right outside and also for people with reduced mobility. (P.S. don't ask for the recipe for the pepper sauce... you won't get it 😞)

I really appreciated that they could customize the brunch menu to our dietary preferences. We all left feeling satisfied and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The vegetarian options are truly delicious.

Recently this cafe has changed owners, who are just as friendly as the previous ones; we haven't lost out. I am still a customer of Damien and Elise, who are exceptionally kind, as is the waitress.
