23/08/2026: I've been to the Sherlock Pub in Thillois several times and, until now, I'd always had a good impression. The atmosphere is pleasant, the Sherlock theme is particularly well done, and the restaurant itself is very attractive. It's precisely because I enjoyed this establishment that I was all the more disappointed on my last visit. For some time now, I've unfortunately had the impression that the quality of service has declined. I already left with some reservations after my previous visit, but I wanted to come back to form a new opinion, thinking that perhaps it was simply an off day. Unfortunately, this time, my experience only confirmed my feelings. I had ordered a Texan burger, a new item on the menu which, clearly, wasn't quite perfected yet, or at least not prepared enough to arrive on the plate in its final form. It's normally made with beef brisket, lettuce, tomatoes, and barbecue sauce. However, the first burger I was served didn't match this description at all: several ingredients were missing, and it contained cheddar cheese, which I don't eat. So I pointed out the problem, and a new burger was brought to me… unfortunately, identical to the first. It ultimately took three attempts and the intervention of several staff members—no fewer than five people in total—before I finally received the burger I had actually ordered. The problem was eventually resolved, but in the meantime, everyone at my table had finished their meals. So I had to start mine after everyone else had already finished, which is rather unfortunate for a shared meal. Other mistakes also occurred at our table: someone had asked for a burger without goat cheese, precisely because they didn't want any cheese, yet their burger arrived with cheddar. The salad I ordered was also quite dry, mainly due to the lack of dressing. It's a shame I'm not writing this review after my first visit. I've long enjoyed this establishment and have returned several times with pleasure. So it's with real disappointment that I note this change. I sincerely hope these problems are only temporary and that the Sherlock Pub will regain the quality of service that, in my opinion, was one of its strengths.

20/05/2026: We got to the room early in the afternoon, it was clean, just OK, I have often missed another chair in a double room, and so did I this time. In the restaurant we did not have a common language, but the meal was great.

17/05/2026: Another wonderful discovery this Sunday, May 17th, at 1 p.m. From the cocktail to the dessert, everything was perfect. Fresh, local ingredients, superbly prepared and served at the ideal temperature. Many thanks to the chef and his entire team for sharing these delicious dishes. 27/07/2026: The owner gave us a very warm welcome. The starter buffet was small but good. The homemade main course was delicious and served in generous portions. There was a nice selection of desserts and a very good chocolate mousse. €65 for four set menus (starter, main course, dessert, including coffee and a drink). Excellent value for money for a family of four. Thank you again for your hospitality and professionalism.

19/08/2026: Definitely not recommended. Went out to eat with 8 girls, and no fewer than one of them struggled to finish their food. The tagliata de manzo was extremely overcooked, making it impossible to chew. The pastas were also without sauce and very tasteless. When this was pointed out to the staff, we were allowed to choose a new dish, but everything ended up on the bill. It was also extremely hot in the back room.

18/08/2026: The food and service were very good. However, the lack of air conditioning, or at least a fan in the back room, combined with the closely packed tables and the noise, made dinner unpleasant.

24/08/2026: Customer service (lack of respect): There was a person at reception this evening, Monday, August 24th at 9:40 PM, who clearly doesn't know how to treat customers or show any respect. This will be the last time I order anything here. This person needs to be replaced 😂

10/05/2026: Great location, excellent value for money... The food was absolutely delicious... The receptionist was cold and unfriendly, but the rest of the staff were young, smiling, and really pleasant! I wish the trainee who served us throughout the meal all the best! And kudos to the chef!
