06/09/2024: I have known this restaurant for over 20 years. I have been going there regularly for over 20 years.
For me, it is an essential address in Lyon. My favorite restaurant.
So many good memories I have in this restaurant, whether it's the cuisine, the atmosphere or the welcome, everything is perfect!
I recommend the frozen margarita which is drunk like whey and the fabulous Mex Nachos, but everything else on the menu is worth the detour!
A big thank you to the whole team for delighting my taste buds and mind for so many years!

06/09/2024: Le Monkey est certainement mon bar préféré. Je n’ai même pas envie de le classer dans la catégorie bar tellement c’est une expérience à part entière.
Les cocktails sont bons, le cadre unique à deux pas de l’opéra, chaque soirée passée au Monkey est un merveilleux souvenir.

Being of Asian origin, I have a lot of trouble finding a good restaurant with fresh, quality products; the discovery of this little address amazed me. 17/05/2024: Little gem of Lyon cuisine in the heart of Croix Rousse, terroir with local products, with an undeniable touch of originality - witness the duck and chicken pâté en croute with morels with delicious blackcurrant insert. The menu changes every quarter, giving pride of place to seasonal produce. Christophe and the rest of the team delighted us with anecdotes and good humor. In short: we go in hungry, we leave with a smile!
