22/02/2026: I booked online, and during the booking process, they asked about any allergies: I specified a peanut allergy. Upon arrival at the restaurant, the waitress asked who was allergic to peanuts, and we reiterated our allergy. A waiter came to take our order, and the person with the allergy ordered the octopus (no peanuts were listed on the menu). We started eating, and after a few bites, my friend felt a tickle in his throat, his stomach swelled, and he immediately stopped eating. I asked the waiter: there were peanuts in the side dish (the worst allergen)... My friend's condition didn't worsen, but we were worried, and he was having a very unpleasant experience. The waiter apologized, but I emphasized the seriousness of the situation. We finished our meal anyway (it was another friend's birthday), and the waiter asked, "Can I offer you some digestifs?" We assumed he wanted to do something nice since they had almost sent my friend to the emergency room, so we each ordered a rum (three rums). When it came time to pay, we realized that the after-dinner drinks (over €100) and the octopus had also been charged, with no gesture of goodwill whatsoever. We kept a straight face because it was a friend's birthday, but the person with the allergy had to take antihistamines. Luckily, my friend is fine, but it's outrageous; we're considering filing a complaint.

19/02/2026: I came to this restaurant with a The Fork voucher and I'm very disappointed with the service. We clearly felt a difference in the quality of service compared to those who didn't have a discount. For example, a table arrived 10-15 minutes after us and finished 10-15 minutes before us. We waited almost an hour for our food. One of the waitresses was also very cold towards us. When it came time to pay, she didn't even say a word to us, not even to tell us the amount. She handed us the card reader and barely said goodbye. However, I do want to mention that the food was excellent and the other two servers were very friendly. I find it very disappointing that there's a difference in the quality of service when we come with a discount.

19/02/2026: I'm very disappointed with my experience. As the last to leave the table, the staff told me that a pint hadn't been paid for. I explained that this seemed impossible, but they still charged me. After checking with my friends, it turned out that everyone had paid. It would have been nice if they had checked beforehand instead of rushing me to pay and me losing my money.

04/11/2025: I'm currently on vacation in Lyon and at the Opéra Étoile playing pool. I stumbled upon this place by chance, just because they had a pool table, and it turned out this bar was perfect for me! The waiter was fantastic, the beer was excellent, and most importantly, THE MUSIC! Lots of nu metal; I thought it was my playlist—the soundtrack of the century! As soon as I'm back in Lyon, I'm coming back here!

15/02/2026: Mixed feelings about our Valentine's Day evening aboard the Hermès II (Bateaux Lyonnais) The cruise was unfortunately canceled at the last minute due to safety concerns related to bad weather. It's obviously a shame for an evening like this, even though we were assured of a refund. The boat is pleasant, nicely decorated with pink lighting, a few (fabric) rose petals, and small (also fabric) bouquets on the tables, adding a romantic touch. The welcome and service were warm and attentive throughout the evening. However, the Valentine's Day meal was a disappointment. The amuse-bouche was uninspired. The velouté served as a starter lacked flavor; several tables even asked for salt and pepper. The vol-au-vent was quite good (one to share). The main course—John Dory fillet, Beaujolais sauce velouté, sweet potato mousseline, and baby spinach—was decent, but not memorable, with little garnish. The dessert was rather disappointing and failed to provide a memorable ending to the meal. Another major drawback was the wine. We opted for the drinks package, but the quality fell far short of our expectations, and we both experienced heartburn. In short, the atmosphere and service were acceptable, but the food won't be remembered fondly.

13/02/2026: A terrible experience. We booked a cruise for my birthday, which was cancelled at the last minute because the boat wasn't running. Already very disappointing. We decided to give it another try for Valentine's Day... and again, the boat didn't sail and simply remained docked. No compensation whatsoever, despite the two disappointments. You book a cruise to go sailing, not to stay put! For the price paid, this is truly unacceptable. I do not recommend it!

20/10/2025: Excellent!!!! It's very difficult to enjoy sushi after trying dozens of places in Lyon, and I've never been delighted. And then, while strolling through the 6th arrondissement, I came across this place. Sushi ready in 10 minutes on a Friday evening, the staff is great. And the sushi is really affordable for the quality!!! Miso soup, rice, coleslaw, and 6 sushi rolls free with an order over €30. I highly recommend this place.

06/03/2026: I just got back from this magical, timeless place, where a relaxing and enchanting atmosphere reigns. A place filled with diverse decorations, a true escape! You feel so good you want to stay! A wonderful discovery; I was just passing by, what luck! The owner is lovely and welcoming, and she made me an Italian pizza in no time, and it was delicious! 11/03/2026: The 80s decor is very appealing, but what was on the plate was far less so! Duck breast (200g) and dauphinoise potatoes... I had to ask for the potato to be replaced as it was inedible (boiled potatoes, no flavor, and no cream). The fries were better. Thank goodness. As for the 200g of duck breast... well, I think that was a rip-off. The dishes on the menu are of poor quality. The same goes for the desserts. Some dishes were also unavailable. In short, a restaurant to avoid!

28/11/2025: The indoor temperature was a bit chilly. Several dishes were unavailable, as was one of the draft beers on the menu. Prices were slightly higher than elsewhere, and the dish (quenelle) was decent but nothing special. They also didn't serve the standard 50cl pint of beer (each glass was a few centiliters smaller). Overall, a mixed impression...

21/02/2026: Many dishes were missing from the menu, very disappointing for a traditional Japanese restaurant. The flavors weren't there; I wouldn't recommend it. Perhaps it was just an off weekend.
