11/03/2026: A very pleasant experience with my 9-year-old son. The staff was very welcoming. He enjoyed the children's menu. As for me, the dishes were delicious; the fish was recommended to me and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The éclair was melt-in-your-mouth. Thank you, we will gladly return.

10/03/2026: We went to the Marguerite restaurant to celebrate a birthday and were very disappointed. We ordered aperitifs, and after 10 minutes, our starters were served. We didn't have time to fully enjoy our aperitifs because we were rushed by the arrival of the main course. We chose the €59 Elegance menu, and the quality of the dishes was clearly not up to the price: while the starters were quite good, the same could not be said for the main courses and desserts. The Bresse chicken was undercooked, and the meat around the bone was bright red. The rice that accompanied the dish was dry and undercooked, hard to the bite! The conchiglioni with wild mushrooms were particularly bland and lacked Parmesan in the filling. I'm used to eating mushrooms, and I assure you they are much better than the ones I had at Marguerite! We chose the fruit salad for dessert: the fruit was tasteless and released a lot of water, suggesting it wasn't fresh but frozen! The accompanying whipped cream, however, was very good. As for the birthday celebration, a waitress played a barrel organ while a colleague clapped her hands... A small ramekin of whipped cream with a tiny candle stuck in it was brought to the table. Meh! Finally, the presentation of the dishes was completely lacking: no color, no flair, except for the salmon appetizer, presented like rose petals. Ultimately, it was an extremely disappointing birthday meal, which is why I don't recommend this restaurant. Considering it's the Bocuse establishment, I have to say you're paying more for the name than the quality of the food! Over €200 for three people for this is bordering on a rip-off! Disappointing.

20/10/2025: A great discovery at Le Buldo restaurant 🌿! I had a great meal there; everything was perfect from start to finish 🍽️. The dishes are varied, homemade, and you can tell the chef puts all his love into his cooking. A special mention goes to the foie gras, it's simply to die for! 😍 The terrace on the banks of the Saône is a real favorite: cozy, soothing, and ideal for enjoying a moment away from it all after a long day at work ☀️🍷. A perfect place to unwind and share a good time with friends or family. And a big thank you to our waitress, Océane, who was adorable and attentive throughout the meal. I recommend Le Buldo without hesitation!✨

11/03/2026: A very nice restaurant with a typical Lyonnais atmosphere. Excellent service, good quality ingredients, well explained. One star less because, for the price of the dishes, I found the portions, especially the side dishes, a bit stingy (3 pieces of potato with the brains, for example, whereas in some bouchons, at slightly lower prices, they leave the casserole on the table). The brains also lacked a bit of depth in their seasoning. However, the eggs mayonnaise and dessert were good.

05/03/2026: An interesting experience at a traditional Lyonnais bistro that didn't serve what is precisely the hallmark of such a dish: a simple Lyonnaise salad. I regret that the waitstaff didn't even have the presence of mind, or the desire to please a customer, to ask the kitchen if it was possible. Perhaps it would have been too much of a challenge to gather these simple ingredients (each of which is on the menu) to try and adhere to what defines our culinary traditions and, let's face it, our pride. As a native of Lyon, I had to settle for half a Saint-Marcellin cheese, which was very good nonetheless. In short, aiming to be a high-end bistro is all well and good; remembering your roots is even better. If we need reminding, Le Petit Paumé (another Lyonnais institution) provides a fine definition of what we have the right to expect from a traditional Lyonnais bistro.

07/03/2026: Great bar! This place is really nice. Its cool and original decor gives it a real identity. The food is top-notch! 👍🏻 ➡️Burgers and generous salads are delicious, not to mention the homemade schnitzel 🤤 and other options... A wide selection of quality draft beers for all tastes. It's a chance to discover German beers, which are rarely available in France. I haven't tried the bottled ones yet; I'm not about to finish the menu anytime soon! 😵‍💫 😅 Finally, I mustn't forget the staff, who are very friendly, professional, and efficient. Thank you to them! Believe me, it's REALLY appreciated! 😉 In short, always great times spent relaxing with friends! 🍻 😁

10/12/2025: We arrived at 12:30 today to a nearly full restaurant. I was surprised to be seated at a table for two in an inaccessible corner, especially since I was with an elderly person using a cane. Well, they eventually found us a better solution after a bit of searching. The atmosphere and decor were really nice, and the neighbors were pleasant—I even received some lingering glances from a young woman having lunch with a friend. A shame... The steak tartare was excellent, my guest's andouillette was amazing, and the Beaujolais Villages was flawless. We were very well served by Laurent and also very well served by a young blond man, who, judging by his badge, was in training (for the profession, I imagine).

03/03/2026: A very warm welcome. I recommend the pasta with cheese; it was absolutely delicious, and the gorgonzola was magnificent. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're in Lyon. The manager's smile and kindness were wonderful.

27/02/2026: Excellent service and welcome! The dishes were very good and generous! The bread served was quite thick and delicious, and there was a large quantity of cheese available on the table! A small glass of aperitif was offered. The quality/quantity/price ratio is very, very good! The tiramisu was absolutely divine! It's a bit cramped getting to and from the table, being a small restaurant, but you don't really notice it thanks to the mirrors. We highly recommend it!

21/11/2025: We came as a group of 14 at the beginning of November, having made a reservation and chosen our dishes beforehand because we only had an hour to eat. I think I can safely say that the entire group was satisfied with the quality of the food, the efficient and perfectly organized service, and the value for money. Everything went very smoothly despite our tight team... A big thank you to the team, both in the kitchen and the dining room, because everything was perfect!
