23/03/2026: Honestly, I just had to share this because the experience was so incredible! Several years ago, I discovered Basile and his Café Cyclette quite by chance in Lyon… and I already had an amazing memory of it. Well, I just went back a few days ago, and it's simple: it's still THE best coffee in Lyon, without a doubt! The taste is just perfect, balanced, rich, truly superior to anything else you can find. But beyond the coffee, it's the service that makes all the difference: an incredibly warm welcome, genuine passion, a sincere smile… you can tell everything is done with heart, a true Lyonnais heart! It's rare to see such consistent quality after several years. Honestly, it's a pleasure, and it deserves to be recognized! If you're ever in Lyon, don't even hesitate: go for it. You won't be disappointed.

19/09/2026: A fantastic Japanese restaurant with a wide variety of complex flavors (I had the chicken katsu ramen, and the chicken was excellent). Coming from a city where good Japanese restaurants are rare, the service was impeccable. I highly recommend it, and the value for money is excellent.

07/09/2026: I've been going to this restaurant for almost three years now; I'm a regular. The food is fantastic and very fast, not to mention the staff who are always pleasant, kind, and smiling. I recommend it 100%. I'd also add that the prices are very low for the quality of the dishes. In short, thank you for this experience; I can't stop coming back to eat here!

22/07/2026: After nine years, I returned to this institution… The chef has changed, but the owner, Giles, remains at his post. What can I say except that I thoroughly enjoyed the €25 frog leg menu: starter, frog legs with fries, a quarter-liter of wine, and a coffee. One wishes there were many more establishments of this caliber.

07/09/2026: The gentleman working was exceptionally helpful. He helped me pick a lovely white wine for my wife and on another occasion pick a Konrat Champagne. Both wines were excellent choices. The cave had an amazing selection of wine and was a pleasure to pursue.

27/09/2026: The staff were very friendly, but we went there to eat, and it was very good. Luckily, the fries were unlimited and quite greasy, because the meat portion was really insufficient. €23 for about 150 grams of meat in a secret sauce!! But what's not a secret is the amount of fat in that sauce!! The dessert was very indulgent and perfect for two.

19/08/2026: Belgian tourists visiting Lyon, we stumbled upon this traditional Lyonnais restaurant… and what a wonderful discovery! We were won over, especially by the sweetbreads and kidneys, both excellent. This restaurant stands out for the quality and generous portions of its dishes, as well as its warm welcome. A truly delightful Lyonnais experience that we wholeheartedly recommend!

11/03/2026: Exceptional! The pizzas are already very good for a reasonable price: €12 for the four-cheese pizza and €12 for the vegetarian one. The service was great: one of the ingredients was unavailable, so for the vegetarian pizza (late in the day), the chef offered to create a custom pizza, suggesting even more ingredients (without raising the price). That was pretty cool! Once there: friendly atmosphere, pleasant conversation. Lots of little touches to make people feel comfortable: games to play while you wait, a guestbook where you can look at lots of drawings and even create your own, etc. No delays: 10 minutes between ordering by phone and picking up the pizza, exactly on time. A place you want to go back to even when you're not hungry.

22/09/2026: Good restaurant with set menus at 40 and 50 euros featuring quality ingredients (unfortunately, no more lobster this Sunday). Pleasant service on the terrace.

28/09/2026: Cash money good Khmer noodle soup that's worth every Euro. You CAN get pho here, but you want their special, the Phnom Penh noodle soup. Pork, shrimp, calamari, tripe - and more - plus a savory broth (14€ for normal, +2.50€ for a large bowl), the noodles come out quick. I usually get a coconut juice or an espresso (afterwards) to get a little pep with my meal. This is a casual eatery - dine solo, or bring a group of friends or family! I've been coming here for years, and my interactions with the staff have been pleasant. It probably helps that I can speak broken Cambodian and French, though? Credit accepted.

Dishes tasted: Spring rolls (crispy and flavorful), Pho (traditional soup with an excellent, fragrant herb broth), Beef vermicelli (a flavor that reminds me of my trip to Vietnam—a true "madeleine de Proust"! So flavorful and aromatic! A real treat! 👍👏😋 Excellent welcome from the owners—kindness, humor, and courtesy! We returned the following week and I absolutely recommend it!! 16/09/2026: The welcome was as warm as ever. The dishes and desserts were beautifully presented and their flavors delighted our taste buds. A must-try! Well done to the team and thank you for the wonderful meal! 👍

30/08/2026: Not worth the price. The two dishes served at the table were good, but the buffet looked very cheap. The pancake toppings were left in their original containers with a spoon inside, and the drinks were simply placed on a table. For a brunch at this price, the presentation was disappointing. I would advise the restaurant owners to: - transfer the pancake sauces into nicer containers and add signs indicating their contents - serve the drinks at the table, even if they are unlimited, and do the same for the pancakes and pastries - set up a buffet area, which doesn't appear to have been arranged on two folding tables, and make it look more substantial (that's the whole point of a buffet, after all). As things stand, I think I would have been satisfied with my experience even if there hadn't been a buffet, at the same price. But since there was one, and it wasn't up to par, my experience is tainted. I wouldn't recommend this brunch to anyone I know.

07/06/2026: Based on the value and the excellent room condition, I am giving 5 stars. The hotel is part of the FORUM complex. It's next to the Gare Part Dieux station, but it's quiet. It's very modern. The price is very reasonable. The staff is friendly.
