14/02/2026: I found the place quite nice, not too noisy, with a limited menu, suggesting it was all homemade. The mushroom ravioli were very good. However, they say the quality of any place is measured by the state of its toilets, and here, it was a disaster: a strong smell of urine, dirty grout, and hardly any soap left. It's a shame; it was the only negative point.

21/04/2026: The last truly authentic, traditional restaurant in the neighborhood! Don't be fooled by the exterior. The pleasure is on the plate, and the owner is delightful. Starter/main course/dessert and a quarter bottle of red wine for €32. Absolutely no comparison.

30/03/2026: A place worth trying! A rustic spot that takes us back a few decades to our grandparents' house, offering generous, authentic, and flavorful cuisine at an affordable price. The service is pleasant, and the manager is very friendly. A lovely time spent at Le Petit Canissou.

26/04/2026: I came with a group of friends for dinner on a Saturday night and we queued for a while which seems to be normal. Very busy but had staff organising people in table by table. The staff were friendly and professional and the service was pretty quick and well sectioned once inside despite being very busy. The food, drinks and dessert were all very good. Although the steaks we ordered at different doneness levels they did all seem to be cooked quite the same and quite rare. But we were all still pleased with the food and it was all delicious. Due to the high intensity of customers and fast paced service I did notice the restaurant was quite messy but overall the experience was good and I would come back :)

31/01/2026: My husband and I visited this lovely restaurant for dinner. Like another reviewer commented, it seemed like an episode of "Cheers" because everyone greeted one another with smiles and hugs. The staff contributed to the sense of friendliness and were so welcoming. We were impressed at the menu: it wasn't too big to make it hard to choose, but it still had good variety. My husband is a vegetarian, and they didn't have a vegetarian options for the main dish so they made one of the starters as an larger portion. And it was so yummy: ravioli with goat cheese and tomatoes with a light, lemony white wine sauce. The review will not be complete without mentioning our server Adrien. He was the perfect balance of professional and fun, very attentive and anticipated our needs. I joked he was a mind-reader. His English was perfect, but he spoke French with us and was patient with our attempts to speak. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say, if you find yourself in the Crois Rousse neighborhood of Lyon, this little restaurant is worth a visit. Bon appétit!

It might be a little pricey, but the products are high quality, and the taste is undeniable. It's tender and flavorful. Thank you for this enjoyable experience at your restaurant. 30/04/2026: As a long-time customer of this fantastic Italian deli, I was recently a little disappointed by the welcome from the young saleswoman, who, while very professional, was rushed and somewhat cold. When it's the owner, it's a different story. This doesn't detract from the quality and selection of the products (it's just a shame the Parma ham wasn't very well cured). They're victims of their own success, and there's always a queue for lunch, which perhaps explains the incredibly fast service.

20/12/2025: Excellent caterer. I ordered for my end-of-year company meal. Everyone loved it. They offered a variety of options beyond just charcuterie and cheese. Excellent communication with Sonia. I highly recommend them.

09/03/2026: We visited Pizzeria la Caselina a few days ago and were very pleased. This small restaurant is intimate and allows its customers to gather in a calm and relaxed atmosphere. The food is expertly prepared by the team. There's a good variety on the menu, making it difficult to choose. The aroma of freshly cooked food wafts into the dining room, setting the mood for the delicious meal that awaits you.

16/12/2025: A very pleasant surprise! We were desperately searching for a restaurant during the Festival of Lights, and while turning a corner, we stumbled upon this Italian restaurant. A warm welcome, delicious pizzas and desserts. Thank you for a lovely time. We'll be back!

12/04/2026: We came for dinner with colleagues. The music was too loud, making it difficult to talk. The food was so-so, including the salmon poke bowl (the salmon wasn't very fresh). The servers weren't very friendly.

26/04/2026: The lamb tagine with almonds was good. However, I was very disappointed by the dessert: Cinnamon Oranges. It consisted of six orange slices placed on a plate with very little cinnamon and a ton of orange blossom water (not mentioned on the menu, so it's a nice touch for those who don't like orange blossom). On the plus side, the decor is beautiful and immerses you in a Moroccan atmosphere. The welcome wasn't very warm. Furthermore, the manager sat down two tables opposite us with his cell phone and stayed there for half the meal. Not ideal if you want to have a quiet conversation, as he could hear everything since we were the only ones inside. Disappointing experience.

24/04/2026: The couscous is usually excellent, but today it was very, very average. And now it's far too expensive: an extra €7.50 for three merguez sausages is outrageous! Regretfully, I won't be returning to La Mamounia!

10/04/2026: Terrible welcome, rudeness, disrespectful lady, avoid at all costs. It's a shame it's not rated less than 1/5, it really deserves less. One really wonders what's behind this lack of respect.
