17/12/2024: Racist rude staff, we were greeted at the door by a man who mentioned lunch? We replied yes and he immediately changed his attitude towards us once he realised we were English and told us were not serving just yet. So we asked to have a coffee while we wait. The man then told us they aren't serving coffee to us even though they was plenty of room and lots of people already drinking coffee. He made us feel uncomfortable and unwanted for being English

17/12/2024: Very pretty “old-fashioned” café, beautiful decor. In summer, small terrace. All overlooking Place Bellecour, giving life to a rather quiet side of the square.

19/12/2024: Well located bar and friendly clientele, however the waiters are unpleasant and disrespectful, especially the young frail so-called Portuguese who even provokes passers-by! Then another one a few months ago who speaks like the neighborhood! In short, neighboring bars are preferred!

Expensive for... meh...: At the same price you can find better, more typical, something to enjoy more, in Lyon; for the same thing on the plate, we expect to pay less. It's better to try something else, all that's left is the memory that it wasn't worth it.

22/09/2024: Restaurant to avoid! Number of places totally disproportionate to the capacities of the kitchen. Servers overwhelmed and on top of each other. A lot of waiting and the 2 starters arrived at the same time as the dishes. Then, a wait of more than 30 minutes before the last 2 dishes arrived... the others had finished eating. We ended up paying without eating the dish. Finally, a bottle of wine for 7 euros sold for 48 euros.

01/07/2025: Good experience, just be careful with the restrooms and the cleaner on Tuesday, July 1st (an elderly woman with dark hair who was on the first floor) at 12:10 p.m. because she kicked my leg even though I'm disabled, and it hurt, but she didn't apologize at all!!!! In short, the rest of the team is fantastic, with a good atmosphere and excellent service.

At this time tables must be closed. wait more than 10 minutes just to get the card then another 15 minutes to place an order, something never seen before. the place is nice unfortunately that's not everything. 24/12/2023: I had an excellent homemade nutella waffle. It was good but don't be in a hurry.

29/11/2024: As a family, our tacos were soup, more liquid than solid, it vomited at the slightest bite, the guy who took the order had to repeat each menu several times, the children's tacos were more appetizing, I I asked for an xl I got a normal one, although in the end he gave me back the difference himself in short, I will avoid it now.

19/11/2024: Welcoming staff, the tacos are good, varied choice for what is offered, I recommend.

30/09/2024: Lady at reception very commercial and jovial. The dishes were generally good, but the quantity of beef (I can only judge that because I haven't tried other dishes) on the plates was really ridiculous... The dish therefore becomes a little expensive for a meal almost exclusively composed of pasta and vegetables.

09/12/2025: The station was clean and beautiful, with clear route signs, places to sit and rest, and even a Carrefour supermarket. I really liked it! ☺️

03/12/2025: In France, at 5:30 in the morning, nothing is open except the Relay store, which everyone ends up in, including the homeless and people who cause a disturbance in the train station. There's nowhere warm to stay; it's awful, definitely avoid it in the morning. I think they should wait even longer to open the cafes, until 11:00...

12/11/2024: Bakery where the bread and sandwiches are good and well made. There is a large choice and something for everyone. I recommend the pastries which are excellent.

27/09/2024: I really enjoyed the food, the staff are very welcoming and the place is friendly. It invigorates you and makes you want to come back!

26/09/2024: The resto is run by Japanese, they are all very nice and friendly, but I have to say that the ramen and gyoza were just ok. The tamago was a bit overcooked.
