23/01/2026: Very, very poor. The lasagna was served lukewarm. The salad was so-so and over-seasoned. The pizza was on a frozen crust. The apple pie was also frozen and served too cold. The waitstaff seemed overwhelmed by the group, but that shouldn't justify a decline in service. The cutlery was thrown on the table.

26/12/2025: I didn't pay the price shown on the receipt, but €2 more after they asked me if I was paying in cash....

19/02/2026: Good evening. I'm writing this review with a rumbling stomach, and the service left much to be desired. I've never experienced such a complicated order-taking process at the drive-thru. I think the person was on a work experience placement; I was served four fish burgers instead of four cheeseburgers, despite the 15-minute wait. I didn't expect mistakes to happen. However, I was pleasantly surprised when they gave me sparkling water instead of Fanta. Despite all that, you still manage to add an extra charge for late-night orders! Well done, McDonald's Gerland, you are officially the worst McDonald's in Lyon. Sincerely, I won't be back, not even under threat. Avoid at all costs!

16/02/2026: The bus station is 800 meters away; we wanted to go there for a hot drink, but after 11 pm you're stuck outside even if there are still customers inside. Useless.

24/11/2025: The staff were about as welcoming as a prison guard. We came as a family and chose this restaurant because the menu seemed quite extensive. Upon arrival, the waiter didn't seat us, and we had to move the table ourselves to find a seat. Four courses: two pasta choices and two burger choices, nothing more, nothing less. No desserts that evening. We were bothered by a group of young women all evening, despite our attempts to move them away from our table; they wouldn't budge. The owner did nothing. Truly disappointing.

13/11/2025: "An extremely disappointing experience. The staff's behavior demonstrates a complete lack of professionalism and reveals unacceptable discriminatory attitudes. In an establishment that welcomes the public, respect, equal treatment, and courtesy should be fundamental principles. Unfortunately, this was not the case here. I do not recommend this place until these practices are seriously addressed."

01/03/2026: I was really disappointed by this experience. It was (very) expensive for octopus and empanadas, and we waited 45 minutes to be served after ordering (there was a problem in the kitchen). Our table was in the middle of the walkway and the queue. I do not recommend it.

15/02/2026: I am extremely disappointed with the ham I bought from Bellota Bellota. I initially wanted a few slices of 100% Iberian Bellota ham (50-100g for Valentine's Day), a breed I normally love, very flavorful, melt-in-your-mouth with that famous nutty taste. However, I found none of those aromas. The slices were cut directly from the leg, which at first glance seemed great—it looked artisanal and authentic—but the leg was already quite worn and nearing the end. Just by looking at the texture, I had my doubts. Almost €25 for 50g, though. I was prepared to pay the price if necessary, but only if the taste was there. I took it out of the fridge at least three-quarters of an hour, maybe even an hour, before eating it to really let all its aromas develop and the fat settle, but it was no use… no difference whatsoever. The taste was just like regular cured ham. Absolutely nothing special. I'm very disappointed and I'll never go back.

23/11/2025: Terrible service and atmosphere. Especially the youngest employee; she's cold, haughty, glued to her phone. Only helpful to men! It was much better with the previous owners. It might be "good," but without service, it's pointless. An address I'm crossing off my list.

08/03/2026: Despite a very pleasant setting (and a splendid view of Fourvière), the service is a bit slow (19 minutes for a Ricard…).

05/03/2026: A must-visit terrace in the heart of Lyon, with an incredible view and a really great atmosphere! So pleasant to have a drink there with the beautiful weather that's coming! I highly recommend it!

28/02/2026: The worst bar in Lyon, both in terms of atmosphere and service, which is abysmal. Shots were watered down, and the beer was mediocre at best. Book your platter well in advance; it's prepared by the restaurant next door! Thank goodness Uber Eats delivered! The waiter was about as helpful as a suitcase without a handle. The only redeeming feature might be the history of the place, which is unfortunately misused.

09/12/2025: The station was clean and beautiful, with clear route signs, places to sit and rest, and even a Carrefour supermarket. I really liked it! ☺️

03/12/2025: In France, at 5:30 in the morning, nothing is open except the Relay store, which everyone ends up in, including the homeless and people who cause a disturbance in the train station. There's nowhere warm to stay; it's awful, definitely avoid it in the morning. I think they should wait even longer to open the cafes, until 11:00...

24/01/2026: Previously, we were served at the table. That's no longer the case: you have to order, then pick up your drink, and finally pay! In short, it's better to stay home or go drink somewhere else.
