20/05/2026: The fast-food place of our youth, I think it's been abandoned. The service makes you think we owe them money... Claiming to have the best tacos in Lyon... they need to take a hard look at themselves.

29/05/2026: We had a great time together, the welcome was excellent. Our dog was also well looked after.

24/05/2026: Food was good, the beef was cooked to perfection. The waiter didn’t know english and there was a lot of confusion. Very expensive prices.

02/01/2026: Simply the worst all-you-can-eat sushi in Lyon. The welcome was surreal, the service nonexistent, and the food awful. I don't even want to try and find anything positive, it would be such a struggle. You leave feeling ripped off!

24/02/2026: The couscous was excellent, the vegetables were perfectly cooked, and the meat was good. The owner was very friendly.

25/02/2026: She is always baking when I get in the cafe. The atmoshpere feel like home because of the deliciıus smell of cookies and sandwiches. Very calming place.

22/05/2026: We wanted to share a nice meal to celebrate a birthday... We got a cockroach as a gift... Well, we left, and the cockroach didn't seem to bother the staff at all; no compensation was offered... Avoid this place at all costs... The health inspectors need to come, and this establishment should be shut down.

07/06/2026: We had lunch as a couple before a concert... the service was quick and efficient. We arrived at 7 pm and paid at 7:45 pm. The burgers 🍔 were excellent, which is rare these days for such a reasonable price. Dining on the terrace was very pleasant! We recommend this place 😉

06/06/2026: Loris welcomed us and made us feel valued and right at home. The service was kind, fast, and enjoyable. Our food was delicious, and the margaritas were refreshing and tasty!

11/06/2026: I tried a frozen cocktail for the first time. Very refreshing for summer, I loved it!

06/06/2026: We came to eat around 1:30 pm and we were pretty happy with our visit. Aside from a slight pressure tactic of having to make our choices within 3 or 4 minutes, everything was fine. Be careful with the meat cooking; the rare burger was actually cooked medium-rare, and the fries were rather soggy…

23/05/2026: Honestly, if you're looking for a place to have a terrible night out, Le 42 in Lyon is the place to go. The atmosphere is so lifeless you can practically hear the ice melting in your drinks. The decor, all dark, old wood, is incredibly outdated; it looks like a bar stuck in 2002. Between the lifeless music and the atmosphere of a condo owners' meeting on a Monday morning, it's hard to imagine anything less welcoming.

05/04/2026: It's probably a good bar, but the clientele leaves completely drunk and keeps us awake for 3 to 4 hours. There's no regulation or management of these people who shout, smoke, and fight, like again last night...

08/06/2026: But where has the FAV gone?! After months of closure, we were thrilled to rediscover such a great place. But unfortunately, nothing lived up to expectations: (apart from the magic of the location in the heart of Lyon's 5th arrondissement) - very slow service - poor quality of the food - cold dishes (sent back to the kitchen) - children's tenders (paprika tenders... a bit spicy for a 4-year-old) - XXL profiteroles (according to the menu), we reached the limit of "revisited desserts," no melted chocolate on a profiterole is quite daring 😉 - "homemade" sponge cake, no doubt about it... But more like the kind you get at my house, where the sponge cake stays true to the original concept... We could appreciate the chill of the freezer! In short, disappointed because it's nowhere near the old FAV. We'll give the new team a chance, but considering the bill... we'll give it some time.

07/06/2026: Unfortunately, I can't give 5 stars because of the service; there were too few servers and an interminable wait time, but the place is very pleasant, ideal for an evening with friends, but you have to be patient!

23/05/2026: I'll come tomorrow when they open, and you'll refund my meal! There's a huge problem, a serious doubt about the cold storage system. A kebab that costs 12 euros is swimming in a liter of oil. I'm starting to feel sick, it's unacceptable. I wrote to the city of Lyon asking why there isn't a hygiene inspection. It's unacceptable.

27/06/2026: Keep walking! Fresh salmon tagliatelle... a teaspoon of salmon placed in the center of the plate and that's it. A nauseating fishy sauce that doesn't smell of fresh salmon at all. I complained politely... the response: these are tagliatelle with salmon sauce. Oh really! That's not what's on the menu. I pointed this out and informed "Nona Lisa" of my upcoming comments. Nona's aggressive response: "I've been working for forty years, you're not going to ruin my life." Change jobs (it's too late) or quit altogether!!! It's not free!!!

18/06/2026: Excellent Italian restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and a warm welcome. The food is delicious and you always have a great time. Highly recommended! 🇮🇹🍕😊

09/06/2026: A new concept, perhaps designed to encourage people to eat less and gain less weight: order your meal now, get it served the day after tomorrow! Quite an initiative, enough to deter potential customers (and the food) and thus reduce the obesity rate in France.

03/06/2026: The cleanliness left much to be desired and I had to return the sandwich because the fish was missing!

15/04/2026: Great! We arrived at 7 pm at 3 pm and were seated very quickly. The service was very fast, especially considering we had a show at 8 pm at the Bourse du Travail. Our order was taken and we were served in 10 minutes (2 burgers and a pizza). Perfect! The Pizza Regina was very good, everything you could ask for in this type of pizza. The burgers were okay, not the biggest, but sufficient. The staff was very pleasant and made sure we weren't late. Really great! 👍🏻

14/04/2026: I'm outraged! I ordered three pizzas. They changed the base from tomato to cream for €3.00 (for two pizzas) just to change the pizza base! Especially since I ordered a Savoyarde with a tomato base—who does that?! The Savoyarde is cream-based, that's the standard! I don't mind adding extra toppings, but this... It's shameful!
