14/07/2024: Zagros is by far the best kebab in the neighborhood. Its staff is always welcoming and smiling. The Kebabs are always generous and of good quality. I find it even better than a few years ago.

09/08/2024: We were very well received given the late hour (11:30 p.m.). Very good service, nice presentation of the kebabs. The meat was very good (comments from my friends). For my part, I hadn't eaten a kebab for 8 years (since I became vegetarian) and the falafel one, a delight! You can go there, it’s very good 😊

09/05/2024: The No. 3 jellyfish, snails and shrimps are all fresh and delicious. The escargot seasoning was a bit too strong.

08/05/2024: Dining at Merle is a very Lyon experience, especially its "les halles" atmosphere. The Soupe de Poissons, croûtons et rouille and the Escargots de Bourgogne extra gros, can only be experienced with that quality at Merle. The impeccable carriage and the exclusive atmosphere make a night in Lyon an unforgettable night, visiting a must!

19/09/2024: Habitué de ce restaurant, je n'ai, encore une fois, pas été déçu. L'accueil chaleureux, l'équipe a votre equipe si besoin et la nourriture plus que parfaite. Pour moi deux casollettes de moules accompagnées de frites et pour ma compagne le pavé de saumon qui était tous délicieux. Je recommande fortement !

14/09/2024: One word...disgusting! An outrage to Lyon's gastronomy. How can we leave the appellation of Lyonnais cork to this palace of frozen pâté en croute, Lidl vinaigrette and charred meat???

04/09/2024: Very disappointed, for a so-called traditional Lyonnais restaurant TO FEE!!!!!!!! Where to start, very unpleasant and bitter waiter, the waiter serves you with annoyance, if you didn't like your job, do something else sir!!! Icy atmosphere, no background music, nothing. Dusty dishes, not washed for a while, questionable hygiene!! Inedible dish, too much fat, too salty, not very appetizing. Manager in the image of his restaurant, does not accept criticism and lets you know. Very bad experience, I wanted to give them a chance given the 3.7 rating but it was a very bad idea. TO RUN AWAY!!!

06/10/2023: FRESH donuts of the day, in France? Impossible to find, anywhere, ever, except among those enthusiasts who have fought hard to establish this precise version of the cainri donuts in Lyon's habits (the strongest, the polar opposite of the frozen donut in airy foam such as bakeries often offer them) , with inventiveness, creativity and fantasy. And quite a bit of stubbornness, too! An essential address even if you're not a fan of fat and sugar: it's Rican folklore in all its splendor that is highlighted in these wonderful donuts!

29/08/2023: Avoid the donuts! I'm used to and enjoy all types of donuts. What this shop sells cannot be called that: completely dry pastry, the prominent taste is that of oil, the flavors are inseparable. Neither me nor my friends managed to finish them. I have to give it a star, otherwise I wouldn't have given it.

15/09/2024: Excellent Thai restaurant also with sushi, maki, noodle soups 🍜 with shrimp and various starters (gyoza, spring rolls, steamers, etc.) The team is very friendly, welcoming and fast (or even too fast, especially when clearing out) I recommend well located in the Beaugrenelle shopping center.

30/08/2024: Very good Asian restaurant, we went there several times this week, the dishes are delicious. The servers are pleasant and the atmosphere friendly.

16/05/2024: Permanently closed. Since December 2023, the Julie et Caroline restaurant has made way for the Comptoir La Mère Brazier resrauraunt, as per their website

22/09/2024: I’ve been living in Lyon for almost 8 years, I’m fluent in French and met one of the rudest waiters in town… Food was ok, nothing out of this world. The service, that’s another story. From the get go the waiter was not very nice. I’m not pretending the waiter to be super happy but at least a little bit of courtesy. After he brought the bread I gently asked for butter and he rudely said NO. He ended up bringing a big slice of it charging 50 cents. Fine. Then he sat down and had a meal break. A few minutes later a couple entered the restaurant and he told them no service until 19h. It was 18:30h… the couple sat there waiting. We had to ask him to pickup our plates while he was eating… After reading other reviews I guess we weren’t the only ones with a not so pleasant experience.

10/04/2024: Small quiet lunch break between 2 trains. Very good lentil salad. Good panini. Smiling staff.

11/03/2024: It's 2:26 p.m. when I decide by chance to have my lunch at "pause Gourmande" or should I say, "pause for a starving man" rather lol. With barely 7€ we can barely access a light Mexican without a menu. But what a shame!!! I'm already very thin, but luckily I don't eat in this bakery every lunchtime otherwise I'll end up SKELETAL The Donuts cost almost €3, I hope at least it will make me more efficient in bed, otherwise it's a scam!!! I highly recommend the bakery by continuing the street further 200m from it

12/09/2024: At the time when it was still called "presto" it was the best fast food in valmy/vaise but mtn "enjoy tacos" I'm sorry to say it but the quality has greatly decreased the taste is no longer the same , for my part I had a Caesar salad, a classic that is very easy to make. I can tell you that it was the worst salad I've ever eaten in my life... come back quickly 🫡

12/09/2024: Great evening in this restaurant. Great discovery. Local cuisine, regional products. Beautiful dishes, a nice wine, a cork atmosphere as we were looking for in Lyon. Served by a very friendly person. Thank you for this exotic interlude. We note the address for a next stop in the city of lights.

10/09/2024: Everything was really perfect: - The cuisine: excellence in all the dishes consumed, we will thank the cooks Quentin and Gnafron -The atmosphere and mood of the place itself: Very typical of any Lyonnais cork you will tell me but there you go, there is no overrated or apparent lack. - Music: It may seem trivial but it is something essential in my eyes. Very typical 50s/60s max, very measured and appreciable sound level. - Qualitative and fast service: Each request is executed quickly and always with a smile. - Conventional price at all other restaurants in the area but no abuse especially for the quality of the experience.
