31/08/2026: A nasty surprise: our reservation was confirmed, but the restaurant was closed upon arrival. Remember to close your reservations when you close. We came from far away, and it was a very unpleasant experience 😔

26/08/2026: Google Maps says it's open, but it's closed. We just walked there for nothing.

29/09/2026: Nice restaurant with a lovely terrace. The service is quick and the welcome is warm. Unfortunately, the food doesn't quite live up to the rest of the experience, although it's still decent. Recommended more for drinks than a meal.

15/12/2025: Comptoir Cité enjoys an ideal location just steps from the Cité Internationale, making it convenient for lunch during a conference. The portions are decent, but the pulled pork in the Texas burger was a bit dry and harder to chew than one would expect from pulled pork. A practical choice, but with room for improvement in this regard.

24/10/2025: A very nice place, the staff are very welcoming and the dishes are generous. Try the Braille table in the evening.

13/09/2026: The cafe is perfectly located and very pleasant, unfortunately, the dishes served are really average although quite generous, the service is regrettable, you really feel like you are bothering them when asking for bread.

21/09/2026: The pizzas are practically free and so good! I'm shocked by the value for money; I'll be coming back every week until I get sick of it! And wait, I had a peek at the kitchen—it's spotless, man! Not to mention the super-fast service—do they have a magic wand or something?! We were absolutely blown away by this pizzeria. Thank goodness we stumbled upon this place!

13/09/2026: Tasty Pizza offers really cheap prices and fast takeaway service. However, you know what you're getting: it's not high quality and the pizzas are very greasy.

15/02/2026: Mixed feelings about our Valentine's Day evening aboard the Hermès II (Bateaux Lyonnais) The cruise was unfortunately canceled at the last minute due to safety concerns related to bad weather. It's obviously a shame for an evening like this, even though we were assured of a refund. The boat is pleasant, nicely decorated with pink lighting, a few (fabric) rose petals, and small (also fabric) bouquets on the tables, adding a romantic touch. The welcome and service were warm and attentive throughout the evening. However, the Valentine's Day meal was a disappointment. The amuse-bouche was uninspired. The velouté served as a starter lacked flavor; several tables even asked for salt and pepper. The vol-au-vent was quite good (one to share). The main course—John Dory fillet, Beaujolais sauce velouté, sweet potato mousseline, and baby spinach—was decent, but not memorable, with little garnish. The dessert was rather disappointing and failed to provide a memorable ending to the meal. Another major drawback was the wine. We opted for the drinks package, but the quality fell far short of our expectations, and we both experienced heartburn. In short, the atmosphere and service were acceptable, but the food won't be remembered fondly.

13/02/2026: A terrible experience. We booked a cruise for my birthday, which was cancelled at the last minute because the boat wasn't running. Already very disappointing. We decided to give it another try for Valentine's Day... and again, the boat didn't sail and simply remained docked. No compensation whatsoever, despite the two disappointments. You book a cruise to go sailing, not to stay put! For the price paid, this is truly unacceptable. I do not recommend it!

05/09/2026: Seriously, it's terrible! Okay, have I got your attention? Best spot in Lyon for fresh and spicy poke! Just stop by, say hi to the owner, and let him do his thing. This is an incredible experience!

03/10/2026: It was my first time. A colleague highly recommended it, so I ordered a four-cheese, but to be perfectly honest, I didn't really enjoy it, it was just passable.

27/08/2026: We arrived at the end of service (the restaurant was empty and the kitchen was wrapping up), yet we were warmly welcomed with a smile (which is rare when you arrive so late). The terrace is lovely; you wouldn't think you were in the heart of Lyon. The food was equally impressive: generous portions, delicious pizza (I tried the Lyonnaise), and the cook was quick. In short, a truly excellent restaurant; we will definitely be back.

02/06/2026: Huge disappointment: good food, but appalling service Frankly, despite the quality of the food, the service is disastrous and completely unprofessional. I went there three times. The first time, I chalked it up to the rush. By the third time, I swore I'd never set foot in there again. Not even a smile from the person taking my order. I told her I wanted something light and quick. Her response: "Choose for yourself, I can't offer you anything." I asked, "Do I have to leave then?" She replied, "No, I'm just telling you that even the simplest thing takes at least 15 minutes." I asked what the quickest option on the menu was, and she snapped, "Nothing is quick." I tried the children's menu: "We don't serve children's menus to adults, we're a restaurant, not a snack bar!" Finally, I suggested a Caesar salad, and she agreed. I blurted out, "Well, that's exactly what I wanted you to suggest!" Her tone was incredibly curt, with absolutely no sense of hospitality. The last two times, she made it perfectly clear that I should move on and look elsewhere. Avoid her at all costs!

04/02/2026: A bit too noisy, which is a shame. I had requested a table by the window when I made the reservation…alas, no.
