04/03/2026: March 4, 2026: The hotel is undergoing extensive renovations. The supposedly private entrance was overrun by construction workers, who left in the evening, leaving everything scattered on the floor. Imagine what would happen in case of a fire! We refused to stay in our room because the heating wasn't working and it was tiny. A 1.40m bed is not a double bed in a superior room. There was a musty smell in room 18. The room will be between 14 and 15 square meters at most. The hotel should be closed for renovations or at least state on their website that there will be disruptions due to major renovations. We don't want to know what life is like in the mornings with the construction going on. It must be said that the young woman who greeted us advised us to go elsewhere, which we did.

15/01/2026: The room wasn't particularly charming, but it was clean. The towels were clean and pleasant to the touch. The bathroom had a nice touch: a hairdryer and a box of tissues. I would definitely stay here again if I return to Albi, as it's ideally located with paid parking nearby.

05/02/2026: A very nice hotel with excellent service. The welcome was warm. The restaurant was pleasant with delicious food. A minor drawback was the comfort of the bedding, which we found a little firm, but this didn't spoil our enjoyable stay.

08/04/2026: Very welcoming place with excellent food. Classic French, homemade, super yummy. I had ris d'agneau & fark chocolate mousse. Highly recommended and very fairly priced especially for the high quality of the food. A great evening with delicious food.

16/11/2025: "Homemade"?! What a disappointment... We were expecting homemade sauerkraut, but instead... the dish was prepared right before our eyes, the hot dogs and side dishes were taken from a vacuum-sealed package from the supermarket, placed directly on top of the sauerkraut, and microwaved. The pastries came out of rigid plexiglass packaging with the supermarket label still on them. We didn't dare leave, so we only ordered the €10 set menu (main course + filter coffee) without the coffee because, judging by the state of the coffee maker... The dining room, from floor to ceiling, has been stuck in the past for ages; the overall cleanliness is seriously lacking. The open kitchen is visible from the dining area. How can the health and safety authorities allow this establishment to continue operating? We had relied on the reviews. This restaurant probably had its heyday, but it's gone now.

08/04/2026: Our meal was a mixed bag. The restaurant is geared towards tourists, and the dishes were okay, even mediocre. We waited 45 minutes for our starters, a salad and a foie gras toast. (But up to that point, the food was fine.) The dishes were poorly reheated and far too overcooked: the duck was well past its normal cooking time (no longer pink at all), and the fish was tough and dry (as if it had been placed on a plate, forgotten, and then quickly reheated in the oven or microwave). It's a shame. The desserts were passable. Especially the one with a scoop of vanilla ice cream: it's a pity there wasn't a trace of vanilla in the ice cream (completely artificial, yellow ice cream… 😅). When we paid and were asked how it went, we politely shared our mixed experience, and it was almost as if the waitress didn't care and the question was just asked out of politeness. It's a real shame, I think there are better places to eat in Albi & that the restaurant is relying a bit too much on the few awards it received in previous years…

07/04/2026: Very disappointed with this restaurant... you might as well go to Flunch for better flavor. Starter: Warm goat cheese salad: I see 6 pieces of cheese in the photo > 5 on the plate, filled with lettuce and 4 small tomato wedges. The vinaigrette was very mustardy. 12 frozen snails. Main course: Mixed fish with butter sauce Hake with Provençal sauce. I could have made the same thing myself. The dishes were served with sautéed potatoes and small vegetables (carrots, zucchini). 1 dessert: Tarte Tatin > industrial pastry, dry, tasteless. Service: The waiter felt entitled to touch my chair every time he passed by to clear the table behind me > unpleasant and unsettling. He even dared to lean on my partner's chair while we were eating. Really, for the price, more than disappointed! Tourist trap.

27/03/2026: The waitress is extremely unpleasant. She shouts constantly to express herself. A simple situation requiring diplomacy and emotional intelligence degenerates into a tornado of poorly controlled emotions on her part, with childish behavior. Never again. The reason? I wanted to walk 20 meters with a beer in my hand to get a document from my bike, which was 20 meters away. The waitress was worse than the police. Otherwise, the place is very pleasant.
