06/05/2026: We had a great evening last night with a superb meal served by Josua and his assistant whose name I have forgotten and will be back soon. Thank you very much to the Lycée des Métiers de Mazamet.

01/05/2026: A fantastic experience with students who served and cooked under the watchful eye of their teacher. For €24, we had a superb gourmet meal, a true culinary delight. We'll definitely be back! However, you absolutely must book in advance; it's very popular and they have to take the students' schedules into account. 🤗

07/09/2026: Pizzaiolo Marcel is very generous, friendly, efficient, and fast (pizza in 20 minutes—you can't get better for fresh, homemade pizza). Annie, who's also there, is well-trained; the quality is just as good! When I'm on the highway, I don't hesitate to stop by. See you soon!

25/09/2026: Another drive-thru order with a forgotten double cheddar melted fries… Unfortunately, this is a recurring and disappointing problem, especially for a child… It's not that hard to follow a screen… It's very frustrating to pay for nothing

09/09/2026: What an amazing buffet! The selection of different foods here is overwhelming but in a very good way. Not only do they have more dishes than you could ever taste in one sitting but they offer a salad selection, cheese selection, fruit selection, deserts, ice cream, a selection of candies for the kids and yes, even a chocolate fountain! I believe we paid 18€ per person on weekdays and 25€ per person on weekends and holidays. An unbelievable value for what you are offered. This is now one of my favourite places to dine. We have been back several times and have never been disappointed with the quality of the food or the warm, friendly service. I highly recommend the Buffet Royale for a wonderful dining experience!

25/05/2026: Delicious couscous and tagine. Watch out for the pepper sauce (hot), baklava is highly recommended, less sweet than Turkish. A real winner; we sat outside on the terrace, diagonally across the street there were some noisy types. The atmosphere was a bit less because of this, but otherwise recommended if you are tired of French cuisine.

25/09/2026: Delicious food enjoyed on the terrace shaded by a magnificent wisteria. Excellent service (efficient and friendly).

22/09/2026: This place is still as unique as ever! The food is exquisite, but the excellent lamb shank was no longer on the menu. I opted instead for the braised beef cheek with homemade mashed potatoes... Hurry and go before they close for the fall! 🏁

16/09/2026: Regulars at Belin, but increasingly disappointed! Disappointments with the pastries. Even just by looking at them, and as for the taste, you're not eating Belin. A few days ago, a very dry and frankly not good pain au chocolat; this morning, a dry and tasteless madeleine, so much so that we couldn't finish it. Expensive for what it is. There are places that now have significantly better quality products for less. So, we'll be finding other places to enjoy our little treats. What a shame. It's worth noting that this has also been observed at Lapérouse for the morning coffee.

02/08/2026: We've been ordering cakes from Belin for years. I decided to leave a review because for my mother's birthday, we placed an order with a raspberry macaron on Monday, July 27th. On the morning of July 28th, they called to inform us that they didn't have any raspberries. That evening, when we came to pick up our order, what a surprise when the salesperson told us they had done everything they could to find raspberries for our cake! It's very professional and very kind. I recommend them; the cakes are always as delicious as they are beautiful.

26/06/2026: Good, and air-conditioned too, the daily special was well made, the salads were delicious, the welcome was simple but attentive, and the desserts were homemade.

14/07/2026: Excellent stopover. Hearty and delicious dishes made with fresh, local, and homemade ingredients: a truly excellent andouillette sausage, gourmet burgers, and duck hearts! Dogs welcome on the terrace. Shaded terrace. Easy parking. Highly recommended!

05/04/2026: A great little restaurant in the heart of this charming village (which I'd already discovered thanks to its famous trail!). We received a very warm welcome with our twins. The staff were friendly and the salad was a generous portion 😊 Easy parking right next door for the campervan! I highly recommend it!

02/04/2026: It feels like you're in the mountains! The restaurant is warm and welcoming, with a wide variety of choices on the menu; I've never been disappointed! A major plus is the originality of their cheese melting machine—I haven't seen it anywhere else! A must-try!

01/04/2026: We arrived for dinner at 8:30 pm, just the two of us. There were only two tables occupied in the restaurant, and we were politely told to look elsewhere…

10/09/2026: The decor was lovely, but I was very disappointed with the quality of the food. The couscous was like something you'd get in a school cafeteria, and pork was on the menu—what a disgrace! The merguez sausages were from the supermarket, and apart from the cumin, there were no other spices in the broth. The semolina wasn't even prepared properly!

30/08/2026: The atmosphere is nice but we were disappointed with the food: the tagine was nothing like the slow-cooked, simmered dish you would expect from a tagine and the meat was tough.

28/08/2026: The place has retained its original character: it has a certain charm, but could definitely use a bit of a refresh, especially the tables and chairs on the terrace 😉 A very pleasant and professional waiter with a slight British accent. Prices are on the higher end, but the drinks are good.

14/08/2026: No complaints about the brasserie as a whole. However, I was quite shocked that I was refused a carafe of water when I was simply there for a soda and wasn't eating in. It was 37°C at 2 p.m., in the middle of a heatwave. Refusing to serve water in such conditions seems particularly absurd to me… I find it all the more regrettable because, in the context of such intense heat, access to water should be a given.

03/09/2026: A real treat! The couscous was delicious. The service was excellent, and the owner and his wife were very pleasant and friendly. I recommend eating on the quiet terrace. I will definitely be back. Thank you to the management for their kindness.
