07/12/2025: Nothing bad, but rather simplistic. My pasta with a slice of ham was presented quite plainly; nothing special, and the taste was rather average. My friend, on the other hand, tasted a very good stew. The outdoor terrace is simple with basic furniture. Because of the restaurant's location, we couldn't fully appreciate the charm of the beautiful village of Oppède-le-Vieux. However, the price is very reasonable: 54 euros for two.

02/11/2025: A wonderful discovery! We came on the last day before closing for the winter. The homemade food is made with good, fresh ingredients. See you in April! :)

19/02/2026: My Highlight during our vacation over South Tirol and Provenece. Our little sausage dog was so welcomed. Breakfast and dinner was fantastic. The little shop, the garden, the rooms… so much love to detail. We will return. It’s an amazing place in a fairytale village.

10/02/2026: In the middle of my trek on the GR97, in the pouring rain, with my tent and all my gear completely soaked, I decided to stop at this hotel to sleep in the dry. A sign outside said "open," so I called the number provided. A man answered the phone and told me they were full. I explained that I hadn't booked and that I was trekking. He flatly refused. I then checked on Booking.com: it was the only accommodation nearby, and rooms were available. I booked immediately, thinking it was a mistake. I called back. His response was astounding: "Yes, I have rooms available, but the heating isn't on, so I can't accommodate you." I explained that I was outside, in the rain, with my tent soaked to the bone, and that even without heating, a room would be perfectly fine. He wouldn't listen. No effort, no consideration, no humanity. Despite a valid reservation, he refused to let me in and left me outside. Booking.com had to intervene to cancel the reservation because the establishment hadn't even done so itself. I regularly go trekking and often stay in mountain huts, guesthouses, or hotels: I've never experienced anything like this before. Turning away a soaked hiker when rooms are available, simply because the heating isn't on, is, in my opinion, a complete lack of humanity and professionalism. I sincerely hope this establishment will rediscover a basic sense of hospitality. You don't just leave someone outside in these conditions.

01/11/2025: We only had lunch at the inn, whose charm and traditional dishes had captivated us. The dining room and small terrace perfectly capture the rustic and authentic atmosphere. Although the service was friendly, attentive, and efficient, the food disappointed us, falling quite short of some of the photos in this thread. The portions were generous, but frozen and vacuum-packed ingredients were everywhere (fries, salad dressing, standardized desserts, etc.). On the other hand, the chanterelle omelet was excellent, and the daube and pieds paquets were quite good. It was hard to tell if they were homemade... so, a mixed experience overall.

26/12/2025: A beautiful place. A stunning setting. The cuisine is exquisite, a true delight. An extensive selection of Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines, as well as a wide variety of other grapes. A very friendly sommelier to advise you. My friend and I had a wonderful time. The only slight drawback was the impeccable but somewhat lacking service; there was a significant wait between courses.

25/12/2025: An exceptional culinary experience in Avignon Our visit to Restaurant Sevin was outstanding in every respect. We were particularly impressed by the natural ease and professionalism with which our gluten intolerance was accommodated. The menu was completely and creatively adapted without us feeling like we were missing out on anything – quite the opposite: every course was meticulously planned, brilliantly flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The wine selection deserves special mention: superbly curated, with exciting discoveries and excellent recommendations that ideally complemented each course. The entire menu was exceptionally successful from beginning to end – harmonious, sophisticated, and of superb craftsmanship. The passion for the ingredients, the technique, and the hospitality is evident in every detail. A restaurant that not only delivers top-notch cuisine but also impresses with its attentiveness, flexibility, and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended.

26/01/2026: The buffet is huge with an enormous selection.... The service is excellent, the restaurant is clean. The prices are well managed. Finally, an all-you-can-eat buffet that's fantastic! I returned in January 2026, and it was extremely busy, yet the buffet never ran out of food. It's a meticulously organized operation; kudos to all the staff.

18/01/2026: I'm a bit shocked to charge a 10-year-old the price of an adult meal. And even to charge 11 euros for 6-year-olds, but oh well.

09/11/2025: We had a great time, the food is really delicious, the prices are affordable, an excellent address in Avignon, which equals or even surpasses other restaurants in the city centre!

28/12/2025: Ordered two cheese/ham pizzas! Delivered 20 minutes later, piping hot and absolutely delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed them and I highly recommend this pizza specialist! Plus, the price is very reasonable, €25 delivered! For two very generous pizzas! I've been to all the pizzerias, and none compare to this one!
