25/11/2025: Good food, even very good food, with delicious dishes, though the portions could have been a little smaller. The wine list is also very well stocked. The service was friendly. Passing through in early November, we asked if Mont Ventoux was accessible, and the waitress did everything she could to find the correct information for us. Thank you.

20/06/2025: A rather neat setting. With tasteful touches. Food-wise, the menu is average. The dishes could use some work, given the excessive prices. Food-wise: very excessive value for money! The dishes are substandard for the prices. The service also needs to be improved.

04/10/2025: Aggressive and rude. We approached to use the bathroom and buy water (we have a 4-year-old daughter), but the waiter sent us away even though they had water. They told us they wouldn't sell it to us. The waiter aggressively yelled at us and rudely sent us away. Terrible!!!!

08/12/2025: A place steeped in history. The view is magnificent, but less important than the warm welcome and conversation with the owner. He told me about the history of the village, this café, and the photos on the walls. And the coffee was excellent. An unusual and incredibly welcoming place. Thank you for your hospitality. And I hope number 79 is drawn in the raffle!

09/11/2025: Bonnieux and the Mistral's Embrace It was May 2025, and we were traveling through the Luberon region of Provence, France, specifically to Bonnieux, a small Provençal town perched on a scenic hilltop. The wind was strong, yet the view was breathtaking—especially the fields of poppy flowers and the cypress trees bent by the gale. We were searching for a local restaurant to sample authentic Provençal food and stumbled upon César, a small hotel-restaurant run by Stéphanie and Pierre-Yves. We were kindly welcomed and seated at a window table with a magnificent view of the Provençal landscape. Pierre-Yves informed us this strong, window-shaking wind was the famous Mistral, instantly making us feel the spirit of Peter Mayle's A Year in Provence. What followed was mesmerizing: three courses of Michelin-worthy dishes that dazzled in presentation and delighted our taste buds. Stéphanie, the talented chef, was very nice when we met her afterward, and we thanked her for the superb meal. We strongly recommend César for anyone wanting to experience true high-end Provençal cuisine at a reasonable price. Getting the Mistral is an added, unforgettable bonus.

23/10/2025: A restaurant I'm always happy to return to. The food is truly delicious and refined, the service is always pleasant, they're lovely, smiling, and make sure everything is perfect. We came with our children, ages 6 and 3. They devoured their pasta, which was excellent 🤩, and drew with the crayons and paper that the restaurant kindly lent us! Everything is perfect, go without hesitation!

07/11/2025: Every time we're in Bollène, a stop at La Flambée is a must for us. We love it. From the friendly phone service to the smiles when you arrive, the pizza is simply divine. I highly recommend it.
