08/07/2025: Unusual visit today to this restaurant. Classic experience except for one point: we had a small problem with a drink (which can happen) and the manager himself then rushed to correct this problem. Another pleasant surprise when he came a second time to collect my ice cream because it was too clear and would not have any taste. He brought another one back barely 30 seconds later, which looked different and much more pleasant. Very pleasant staff, who follow a manager who knows how to set an example and "roll his socks up". Very pleasantly surprised by the customer service provided.

06/07/2025: Click and collect order: order brought to the wrong people, luckily they were honest and warned us, no drinks apart from orange oasis water, but they manage to charge extra for haway, professionalism needs to be reviewed. Other people complained for the same reason.

16/09/2024: What a great discovery this café of progress is. Nice welcome, waiters doing their best to serve all the tables with a smile. Good advice for the wine (a classified rosé wine at a fair price). Simple but original and well-made dishes, fresh produce. We recommend (and remember to book if you want to eat on the terrace)

29/09/2024: At the end of September 2024, I spent a few days in Avignon and I chose the Mercure Avignon Center Palais des Papes. Essentially for its central location, next to the famous Palais des Papes, and also for its Privilege room with terrace. For the rest, I expected Mercure standards: friendly welcome, modern and functional room, simple but complete breakfast, concrete architecture style "60s-70s and often a good bar/restaurant (not this time because it is not there is no bar/restaurant in the hotel but we invite you to go to the Mercure Center Pont d'Avignon - just a stone's throw away - to have a welcome drink there; I was so well received there that I am there; returned for dinner and the meal at Racine was very good - thank you to the Racine team for these good times). But, the pinnacle was my Privilege room with this beautiful large terrace overlooking the Place du Palais and the Palais des Papes. Unbelievable, rarely seen, the most beautiful terrace in the very center of Avignon! Incredible, moving, edifying - I had the feeling of being able to touch the Palace -, impressive, inspiring, ... In short, an exceptional feeling of feeling like you were in the Vatican, on St. Peter's Square and on your own terrace! Unforgettable memory! And thank you again to the entire Mercure team for their kindness and helpfulness.

26/09/2024: After a very warm welcome on arrival, certainly a somewhat cramped room but the building is old... A desk was missing but at least a chair. We are to the right of the Papal Palace so a 3 minute walk from the congress is what I was looking for. We are right in the center with restaurants to go out. Public parking with a 20% discount

16/09/2025: Online ordering with delivery starting at €30. We can choose the day and time of delivery (including lunchtime). Then we get a call back to inform us that delivery is only available in the evening. It would be nice to change your website to avoid this type of inconvenience. We will therefore turn to another brand that delivers at lunchtime.

10/09/2025: I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this establishment. After eating there, I asked to take my leftovers home, as I always do since my bariatric surgery, because I physically cannot eat a full portion in one sitting. I even mentioned that I was within my rights, under Article L. 541-15-10 of the French Environmental Code, which requires restaurants to offer a doggy bag upon customer request. The waiter categorically refused, with a haughty attitude, and forced me to throw away my untouched food. There was no respect for the customer, the law, or food waste. Frankly unacceptable in 2025. I will not return, and I do not recommend this place to anyone who is even remotely aware of environmental issues or has special medical needs.

07/12/2024: L accueil parfait personnel à l écoute et gentil pizza très bonne et peu d attente produit de qualité pour un tout petit prix

Leurs recettes sont savoureuses et préparées avec des ingrédients frais et bien sélectionnés, ce qui se reflète dans le goût exceptionnel de chaque part. Que ce soit pour une classique margherita ou une recette plus originale, chaque pizza est généreusement garnie et parfaitement cuite. Le service est rapide et convivial, et les prix sont raisonnables pour la qualité proposée. De plus, l’ambiance est agréable, idéale pour un moment en famille ou entre amis. En résumé, SOS Pizza est une référence incontournable pour les amateurs de bonne pizza qui cherchent à allier saveur et convivialité.

17/09/2024: Very authentic restaurant. Lunch was very good. But simply having a drink on the terrace is also very pleasant. Staff top and super friendly.

16/09/2024: A good little café - brasserie typical of France. A small menu with classic dishes that smell fresh and homemade. Attentive service. . I recommend. But don't arrive too late otherwise there will be dishes that you won't have anymore.

14/09/2024: English menu available, but still accurate in French. High quality food for a decent price menu is expected but I would also recommend it. Service is smooth, great French restaurant.

11/09/2024: I recently went as a couple with my partner, we had a prawn ceviche in which we found that there was too much coriander. Subsequently I took the duck breast duo, the orange sauce was much too sweet and above all the meats were cold. My partner had the pork loin and there also sauce and cold meat, I can't believe a coincidence. Lots of people, not many waitresses who can explain these problems (but whose service was impeccable.) Quite disappointed even though I had only heard good things about it, I won't come back.

04/12/2024: Invité par mon ami chef cuisinier, j'avais conseillé ce restaurant sur les bonnes notes du site. Mauvaise pioche!!! Sur 2 plats, un était tout à fait bon mais l'autre, un produit de la mer, sentait tout simplement le produit avarié. Erreur de ma part, j'ai voulu attendre notre serveur attitré pour lui faire ma réclamation. Malheureusement nous avons, entre temps, été débarrassé par une serveuse différente. Celle- ci à d'ailleurs cru en voyant l'assiette quasiment plaine, que nous n'avions pas fini. Lorsque j'en ai parlé au serveur de notre table, il nous a simplement ignoré. Quant au "responsable" (pour qu'il ne crois pas que c'était du marchandage, j'ai payé avant de lui parlé de mon mécontentement ) il n'a pas cherché à comprendre et s'en foutait royalement. Évidemment, le restaurant est bondé de touristes en cette saison. Je conçois que le patron s'en foute de la réclamation d'une table de 2. Pourtant c'est les gens comme nous qui le faisons vivre toute l'année.

24/11/2024: Pause déjeuner à L isle sur la sorgue. Sans réservation nous avons pu avoir une table pour déjeuner ce midi. Acceuil très sympa ,le personnel est agréable. Une carte variée et des prix raisonnable. Assiettes gourmandes et copieuses.Un régal.A conseiller.

19/09/2024: I do not recommend this restaurant expensive, the food served to me was tasteless, very dry and the sauce tasted bad. I paid in cash and they didn't have the money to give me change, so I received less than I should have. At least they apologized with a smile. I don't think about it for a second
