24/06/2026: We've known this restaurant for years and it was always delicious; we went every year. This year, after a three-year absence, we returned with enthusiasm, only to discover that the owner had changed. The menu was completely different, and the wait for three galettes was about thirty minutes, even though there were only two tables in the restaurant. During our long wait, the microwave could be heard far too often from the dining room. And once the food arrived, the presentation was disappointing, with all the elements of the galette piled on top of the galette but nothing inside... The flavors were difficult to distinguish, and there was nothing special about them. Furthermore, the waitress wasn't very welcoming or friendly, which immediately set a bad tone.

11/07/2026: €70 for four people and they're asking me for extra potato sauce... because I ordered fries. It's getting worse and worse... McDonald's prices are becoming exorbitant.

11/07/2026: Always served quickly, with piping hot dishes. Even with a large family, the wait remains reasonable. The service is efficient and the staff is friendly. I highly recommend Mac de Challans!

However, the service lacked friendliness and timing: a more cheerful attitude, a little more patience when taking our order, and better respect for the pace of the meal would have improved the experience (our main course was served while we were still enjoying our aperitifs). This is a shame, given the quality of the food.

And the services offered by the campsite are fantastic, especially the swimming pool, which was very well heated both inside and out, allowing us to enjoy the outdoor pool even in the rain 😅. Thank you to the whole team!

11/05/2026: A very beautiful campsite, well-maintained and very clean. The mobile home was very new and modern, fantastic! The water park is exceptional; the children loved it. The only slight drawback was that some of the Lego sculptures were damaged, and there was a bit of dirt around the base of the plants (dead leaves, rubber bands, fake nails, etc.), and especially the small pebbles underfoot!
