17/07/2026: We enjoyed two meals at Miguel's friendly restaurant during our stay at Puy du Fou. Excellent homemade pizzas, thin pasta just the way we like it, a selection of salads, pleasant terraces, and a pizza vending machine for those who want more! A great place to eat!

13/09/2026: The restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside, which I find a bit lacking considering the straw bales that have gotten wet and are starting to rot... but I recommend it. The service was cheerful and the food was very good. We ate roasted Reblochon cheese with fries, my son had chicken and fries, we thoroughly enjoyed it, and for ice cream I had a coconut macaroon 🥵 it was delicious, a bit too big for me but still very good

09/09/2026: We had mussels with cheese and bacon, and mussels with peanut curry and fries – it was a real treat! A glass of Couteau du Layon wine was also very good, frankly, top-notch. I highly recommend this establishment.

24/07/2026: Very good meal at a reasonable price. The staff were pleasant and friendly, but a bit overwhelmed due to staff shortages.

13/07/2026: A very warm welcome, impeccable and friendly service, original and varied cuisine. The restaurant is open to everyone and has a pleasant setting. However, we suffered terribly from the heat; either the air conditioning was broken or nonexistent! Some tables had fans, but ours didn't, which made us feel nearly faint from the overheating. What a shame!

22/08/2026: A quality roadside and workers' restaurant, which is becoming rare. Set menu with a choice of two homemade dishes. It's always good. The starters and desserts are also homemade. The prices are very reasonable, the welcome is friendly, and the service is efficient. Note that the new team took over two years ago, so disregard the previous reviews.

04/05/2026: We had a lovely stay at this charming hotel. We received a very warm welcome despite it being a public holiday. The service and breakfast were excellent, and thank you for the local products. My only regret is not having been able to fully enjoy the facilities (garden and pool), as we didn't have enough time despite our three-night stay. We will definitely be back! Thank you.

21/04/2026: Just rooms and a simple breakfast, but in an absolutely charming, peaceful setting - simply magical! Vincent is a wonderful friendly host. The pool is perfect for cold swimming. If you want lots of extras, this isn’t your place - if you want an astonishing night sky just look up.

29/08/2026: We went to the restaurant this evening and had a wonderful meal, from the appetizer to the main course to the dessert, and the service was excellent. Moreover, the setting next to the lake and the stone house style give it all its charm! I highly recommend going there ;)

16/08/2026: We came twice as a group during our vacation. We absolutely loved this restaurant and its surroundings. The staff is incredibly friendly. The food is excellent value for money. The galettes and burgers are original and delicious, made with fresh, local ingredients. Their ice cream is unique and delightful. We didn't try the daily special, but it also looked amazing. I highly recommend it! 😃

16/06/2026: This was my second visit to this restaurant. The owner's welcome and service were once again superb, despite my late arrival. The owner's cooking was generous and excellent. Both the owner and the owner were very friendly. Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it and will definitely return.

20/08/2026: Great little restaurant - we had to leave quickly due to our mistake with days at Pou du Fou but they were fantastic to get us organised to get out quickly! Nice food and good service.

20/08/2026: The waitresses were very friendly and professional; they even wished me a happy birthday with a lovely song and candles! I'll remember that. It goes without saying that the quality of the food is also excellent; we enjoyed a wide variety of pizzas and a very diverse menu. Despite the restaurant being busy, they came quickly, and we didn't have to wait long. The restrooms are also well-maintained. I highly recommend it.

27/08/2026: Exorbitant price for a menu served on the terrace after the dining room refused to accommodate us. Disappointing menu, only good on paper.

22/08/2026: We went as a family and had a wonderful evening. A huge thank you for the incredibly professional service and all the thoughtful touches. We felt right at home. As for the chef's cuisine, we thoroughly enjoyed everything from the appetizer to the dessert. We had a truly magnificent experience. We would definitely go back; this place is a real treat.

15/02/2026: It's a shame the seafood sauerkraut wasn't up to par. There was no sirloin steak as advertised on the menu. And no homemade fries as indicated. The wait was far too long. Very disappointed.

14/02/2026: We came today as a party of four without a reservation. The welcome was pleasant, and they had a nice menu with several choices of fish and meat dishes, including a daily special. We ordered a rib of beef, steak tartare, and pink duck breast strips at 12:45 PM. An hour later, we still hadn't been served. I asked the waitress why it was taking so long, and she gave us a rather unfriendly response: "The oven isn't expandable" or "The restaurant is full," which is unjustifiable given the long wait. An hour and a half later, our dishes arrived, all good and hot, except for the duck breast strips, which were served medium-rare but inedible, with cold mashed potatoes and a sauce that wasn't the one that was supposed to go in the dish. I asked for them to be replaced, but unfortunately, they were out of duck breast strips in the kitchen, so I had no meal. We left disappointed with our meals. I would recommend this restaurant for a group with plenty of time and a lot of patience.
