02/04/2026: We came on a Sunday in March and had a fantastic meal! The flavors were perfect, we highly recommend it!

27/03/2026: This restaurant is generally quite good. However, I find the à la carte prices a bit high. €45 for an aperitif, a starter, a main course, and a fruit juice. If that price seems reasonable to you, then go for it.

05/07/2026: Excellent crêperie by the sea! A must-visit if you're in Saint-Jean-de-Monts. The galettes are delicious, the ingredients are fresh and high-quality. The service is impeccable; the waitresses are smiling, welcoming, and very pleasant. We had a wonderful time. I highly recommend this place!

04/07/2026: The pawlova was really lacking in fruit...for the price, I was stunned! A smile from the owner would have been welcome!

12/07/2026: Really dry reheated chicken. It was a big male chicken too, really tough. Recommended by the waiter too, which was disappointing. Pizza for the kids was ok. Would not come back and would not recommend.

28/05/2026: I absolutely loved the Hôtel La Côte de Lumière in the Vendée region! The welcome was exceptionally warm, with service and thoughtful touches that far exceeded what you'd expect from a 2-star hotel. The rooms were immaculate, the bedding very comfortable, and the hotel was impeccably maintained. Its location is ideal, very close to vast, unspoiled beaches, in a peaceful setting that truly invites relaxation and serenity. The couple who run the hotel are both highly professional and friendly, and they go out of their way to make you feel at home. A simple, pleasant, and authentic place where you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. I wholeheartedly recommend it to all travelers looking for a peaceful stay in the Vendée!

20/05/2026: Excellent welcome! Charming hotel, tastefully renovated. Dinner, featuring fresh, homemade dishes, and breakfast were both perfect. An ideal stop for cyclists on the Velodyssey route.

16/07/2026: This establishment seems very well-run. The welcome is excellent and the service is perfect. The pizzas are good, but nothing special, hence my 4 stars. However, you can go there without hesitation; it's still a good place.

14/07/2026: Great restaurant, the staff are very attentive, the pizzas are exceptional (thank you to the pizza chef for the turtle-shaped pizza, my daughter loved it 😉). A very, very good restaurant, I had a great time.

28/06/2026: A really lovely place, with a terrace, open on Sundays (!) in a typical Vendée village setting with the river, its mill and its walks, I highly recommend it!

09/05/2026: After visiting Puy du Fou, we decided to try this unexpected restaurant, and we didn't regret our choice at all, as it was a very pleasant experience. A small, quiet, and authentic restaurant with a varied menu for all lovers of Chinese and Thai cuisine. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food, which is served with care and attention to detail. It's a restaurant like this that's becoming increasingly rare. If you're craving something delicious, go for it! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A nice bonus: there are photos of the dishes on the menu ;)

06/07/2026: The value for money is quite incredible. Even the green beans in the photo were fresh! And as a bonus, there's a lovely little shaded courtyard where you can admire parrots.

05/07/2026: A disgrace. I work in the food industry, and while it was busy, the burger arrived cold, microwaved, and the meat stank to high heaven—literally, it was garbage. When we asked for it to be reheated, they replied, "Oh no, because it'll get soggy in the microwave." Even though it was already worse than soggy. I didn't even want dessert, it was so disgusting. It's shameful. The cook might as well close the kitchen if they're going to serve customers this rubbish. As for the service, a smile wouldn't cost anything. It's a shame we can't give zero stars. Run away!

12/07/2026: Numerous oversights and poor service: salad with unripe tomatoes, burnt gizzards, no hazelnuts, and a crepe cooked on only one side! It's a concept, but it's best avoided!

06/07/2026: Mussels and fries served cold. The cider sauce seemed to have come from a can, was lumpy, and extremely salty. We were seated four to a table meant for two, even though the terrace was almost empty. There were two adults and two children. Once we were served, we couldn't even put our hands on the table. So, avoid this place with children... It's a real shame, I think. The price is reasonable and the terrace is pleasant nonetheless. The service was quick... Added July 5th: We were sick last night (both of us who ate the mussels in cider sauce...)

17/04/2026: The meat was quite firm and they didn't have any meat knives. The dessert wasn't great. However, the service was friendly.

05/03/2026: Excellent homemade food. Very affordable set menu for workers. The food is delicious. Go without hesitation.

02/07/2026: The casino is quite pleasant, but there's a slight downside to the reception; the security guards don't say hello and chat amongst themselves, and the receptionist isn't very friendly…

29/06/2026: Remember to bring your ID even if you're just having a drink in the bar/restaurant area! 🙄 Otherwise, the casino is really nice.
