02/07/2026: A nice, quiet little spot. The service wasn't too slow (we arrived at 7 pm). There were several small snacks available, perhaps lacking in more substantial dishes, but everything was good.

02/09/2026: The all-you-can-eat mussels and fries deal is great, but you need to be very hungry. Even around 1:15 pm, it was difficult to find a clean, empty table. Trays were lying around everywhere, which we had to clear ourselves. Then we went to get our mussels. They were good, but small, and the marinara sauce was very light, lacking onions and white wine. As for the fries, we didn't order any more. They looked like they'd been reheated in the oven. So, very average. A shame. The dining room is large and far too noisy. Like a school cafeteria.

11/08/2026: Bravo to the chef and his apprentice, the waitress, and the owner! The meal was perfect, the all-you-can-eat starter was superb, the mussels and fries were delicious, and the Dame Blanche dessert was divine. Well done! I highly recommend this restaurant where the welcome is warm and friendly.

31/07/2026: Etang, myself Moroccan, I had the pleasure of tasting this Kabyle couscous, truly excellent, plus the staff is more than friendly. I highly recommend it.

11/06/2026: A delicious couscous that reminds me of the one from my childhood. Everything is there according to your preferences; the vegetables are perfectly cooked and the meat is excellent. I highly recommend it.

26/08/2026: The servers were pleasant and the food was good. The waiter cleared our appetizers while some people were still eating them, and then we received our main courses and dessert in a rush. The portions were sufficient if you're not a big eater (some dishes were larger than others). Unfortunately, no one seemed able to quiet the noisy English/American couple at the next table. After we expressed our dissatisfaction (in English, though they also spoke a little French), they simply replied, "We're fine," or "We don't care." We weren't the only ones to voice our displeasure; the next table said the same thing, and the tables with elderly guests also seemed unhappy. We were seated upstairs, though. It was quieter downstairs. In the future, it would be good if the servers (or the owner) could manage these situations that spoil the meal. Of course, I realize they did their best. But this situation is very unpleasant and doesn't make me want to come back. And yes, "you can't choose your customers," but you can choose who leaves out of respect for your other customers. Or at least make the effort to find a solution that suits everyone, like politely explaining to foreigners that in France, people don't speak too loudly in restaurants. In short, if there's nothing else, this restaurant is worth a visit. Otherwise, I would recommend "Le Port," the restaurant to the right of this one (as you enter), or another restaurant on this street.

25/08/2026: Great service and great food. Shame about the rude people who kept telling us to be quiet and shouting at us by the table next door which was professionally dealt with by the staff- ignoring them. Great restaurant.

31/05/2026: A hotel with very good service. Excellent cleanliness and bedding, and the breakfast was plentiful and well-presented. The owners were welcoming and offered helpful advice. If we have the opportunity to return to this hotel, we will. We recommend it.

16/05/2026: We stayed at this hotel for a visit to Puy du Fou. The owners were really great, very welcoming, and the rooms were perfectly comfortable and clean. The breakfast was excellent.

14/06/2026: I usually come here for work, and this weekend I was with my family. The rooms are very pleasant and the hotel is beautifully decorated. The staff are very attentive, and a special mention goes to the breakfast buffet, which was very well presented and varied.

07/06/2026: Hotel right in the city center, allowing you to get around everywhere on foot. Excellent welcome 👍 and despite my early arrival, I was given a room without any trouble. The room is very well laid out with a ventilation system that works perfectly (which is rare!). The toilet is in the bathroom, but that's often the case. Large, comfortable bed and perfect layout. The only things missing are a mini-fridge and soap (liquid shower gel is provided). There's a paid public parking lot right next door. A full breakfast is included, but be aware of traffic jams during rush hour…. I recommend it.

Excellent welcome, delicious meal, top-notch service from all the staff, who were incredibly friendly and always smiling, which was a real bonus. And what can I say about Christian, the owner, with his good humor and entertaining jokes, not to mention his very informative commentary throughout the cruise. A trip to recommend without a doubt! 😃

16/03/2026: Saturday night for St. Patrick's Day Organized by our Vendée-Côte de Lumière Chapter, we were about forty people. The venue was private, but we shared it with other customers. There was a great atmosphere with a fantastic group, and the platters were generous and varied. We'll definitely be doing it again for all the bikers! Thanks to Chris, our organizer, and to all the staff. Thank you!
