06/04/2026: There was no communication between the staff; everyone did their own thing. I ordered a sandwich that wasn't crispy at all, what a shame... disappointed.

The food is high quality, the wine selection is top-notch, and the welcome is truly warm and friendly 🖤 I absolutely love the owner, a real go-getter who gives her all for her business, and as a bonus, she has killer style, absolutely stunning, like she stepped out of an Alexander McQueen runway 🖤🖤🖤 P.S.: the little baker, MAREEN

16/02/2026: A set Valentine's Day menu. The staff were truly lovely, and for that reason, I'll return to try the rest of the menu. I do have some criticisms that I believe are constructive: the amuse-bouche was diced tomatoes (out of season) in a plastic cup, which was very disappointing for a €29 menu. The main course (duck) had a truly disastrous presentation (wrapped in filo pastry), making it look like a large sausage. A shame, because it was tasty. What really prevented me from enjoying this meal was the dining room. I felt like I was eating in a waiting room or an empty office, and I wanted to leave before even sitting down. They really need to invest in some decor! Plants, picture frames, shelves... (For €100-200, you can completely transform the atmosphere!) Dining out is a complete experience, and the decor is important too. Thank you for reading. I'll come back sometime ☺️

27/12/2025: The booking process was very intrusive, requiring a reason for the reservation. The hotel seems to think it has a monopoly and is taking advantage of it.

12/11/2025: Passing through on the Velodyssee, this was a wonderful stop. The room was very pleasant, the breakfast excellent, and a special mention goes to the very well-equipped bike storage area. Thank you for this stay.

04/02/2026: We went for lunch with friends. The welcome was warm, and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The food was delicious and plentiful. Excellent value for money. My wife, who uses a wheelchair, had easy access to the restaurant. The seating was adapted for wheelchair users. The restrooms are accessible. The appetizer and dessert buffet is located in a room accessed by two small steps. The staff was very attentive and helpful. We highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back.

27/02/2026: Excellent restaurant, surely the best in La Roche-sur-Yon, at least for Japanese food. It goes beyond the typical Japanese restaurant experience with its cuisine that blends distinctly French and Japanese ingredients (like the miso and watercress soup). The service is also excellent; it's always a real pleasure.

26/02/2026: Without a doubt, my favorite Japanese restaurant in La Roche-sur-Yon. It goes beyond the usual sushi and skewers and offers a few slightly different dishes if that's what you're looking for. Personally, I stick to the salmon sashimi, which is always delicious. A bit pricey, but worth it. It also has the advantage of being right next to the train station and is therefore easily accessible by public transport.

13/03/2026: The buffet selection wasn't great, the place was outdated, and why an extra €2 for meat? I wouldn't go back.

30/09/2025: I'd heard of La Pastourelle, but I'd never eaten there. I went for lunch, and I wasn't disappointed. Starter, main course, dessert + drink for under €16. And the food is good too, so I recommend it. Plus, the owners are super friendly.

The typical 15th-century architecture blends Baroque and modern styles to our great delight. Next, the smile of the hostess, Isabelle, quickly warms our hearts, even in winter. And now, pasta time! You'll have a choice of exceptional dishes inspired by our neighbor, Italy*. The blend of flavors will take your taste buds back to childhood, JUST LIKE AT GRANDMA'S (mine is named Bernadette). By the time you reach the halfway point, you'll be getting a head-splitting rush from the sheer intensity of the flavors! I finished everything like a pro and even had some ice cream 💕🥹 *Italy

03/02/2026: The pizzas from this machine are the best in the business, no doubt about it. Anyone who says otherwise doesn't know what they're talking about. I've tried several machines in the Loire-Atlantique region (department 44) and this one is top-notch. Well done! Don't change a thing, it's my favorite thing to do after Judo on Friday evenings.

28/02/2026: Don't go there. I went three times, and guess what? I ended up incredibly sick each time. The man is quite nice, the young man is okay, but the woman is unpleasant and rude. Plus, they told me they had kebabs, but they didn't. Honestly, go to other snack bars nearby that are better.
