Quel accueil et quels plats. Notre restaurant préféré dans la région. Malheureusement, ce sera sans doute notre dernier retour sur ce restaurant car le chef va prendre une retraite amplement méritée.
Si vous passez par auxerre, dépêchez vous de réserver !

29/08/2024: Great restaurant. Incredible food, we had the prime rib and salad as a starter. Mat is super nice, the boss in the kitchen with his wood fire ensures superb cooking. Thank you.
16/08/2024: The servers are excellent, pleasant and offer good advice. Located in the heart of the old town, the place benefits from an exceptional geographical location. The service is not only fast, but also impeccable. The menu offers a balanced selection that will please all tastes. I highly recommend you visit this wonderful place.

15/09/2024: I've been wanting to try this restaurant for a while. The setting is magnificent, the welcome warm. Red wine and kir are excellent. We took the menu for 45 euros. For my part, the only criticism was that the sea bream was a little overcooked, otherwise I loved everything else. And my partner would have liked another sauce on the kidney rather than the béarnaise offered. And to finish, the succulent, well-crafted desserts. We will come back in fine weather to enjoy the terrace.

What a surprising experience, the food was delicious and we enjoyed the wine and the hostess.
Highly recommended for a meal, especially if you also enjoy a nice glass of wine.
You notice that people really work there with heart and soul.
We would love to come back again when we are in the area again.
11/08/2024: Passing through Tonnerre on the way to vacation without reservation on a Saturday evening, the owner and her team bent over backwards to install us on the terrace, with, as a bonus, toys and a menu adapted for our little girl!
Burgundy snails, local burger and Tonnerre wine at the top!
The pros: the terrace, the value for money, the kindness of our hosts, the attention to children.

18/09/2024: we show up at 1:30 p.m. just to eat an ice cream, we are refused because we don't have a reservation, they display BAR-Restaurant..since when do you have to book in a BAR to eat an ice cream.....
-Just to clarify to the owner that unfortunately there are no errors in the establishment, we were there...the bar was open and people were eating on the terrace!!! You say closed that day.. but I just put August, no days..!

10/09/2024: The services are good. Some concerns in a 2-star Hotel: cleanliness - cobwebs not made with 2 large spiders and a few small ones. No commercial gesture for this inconvenience. +bedside table marked by traces of coffee and pencil lines. It should have been replaced. So there was no cold water. The price is expensive compared to these inconveniences (123€/night). The breakfasts are OK but remain expensive.
