19/09/2026: A fantastic restaurant! We were warmly welcomed by the staff, the terrace was lovely, and the dishes were homemade and locally sourced. We had a wonderful meal, no complaints whatsoever. Thank you to the servers for their kindness and attentiveness.

16/09/2026: Eating out is a real expense... Unfortunately, we made a bad choice; seated next to the garbage bins, the welcome was icy. And the food was frankly mediocre: the starter was acceptable, but we ordered shrimp in coconut sauce, which wasn't deveined, accompanied by half a plate of lettuce and completely botched rice, followed by a sickeningly sweet brownie. Very disappointed.

16/10/2026: This was my second visit , passing through Auxerre. The restaurant is exceptional- fantastic food cooked on site with a good vegetarian option. I travelled on my own but was made to feel very welcome and had great service. I love the dining room - great decor, no music, plenty of space. Well done for maintaining a small independent restaurant in the centre of town with such high standards. I would always eat here if I lived locally!

19/10/2026: I was quite disappointed with my experience. The flavors of the dishes were poorly executed, either too salty or too acidic. The service was fairly quick and efficient during our meal. The ambiance was subdued, even a bit dark; perhaps this is intentional, allowing for some privacy between tables. If I return to Sens, I'm not sure I'd go back.

12/10/2026: Excellent dinner with my sweetheart; we were delighted to return for the second time to enjoy delicious specialties. The welcome and service were perfect, we had a lovely evening.

Congratulations to the chef! And finally, an incredible and unexpected encounter with a remarkable man, a true son of the soil, a passionate winemaker with whom we spent a wonderful time, and whose wines are undeniably worth discovering and tasting. "White wine for elegance and red wine for power." Thank you, Mr. Defaix, for this shared moment.

07/10/2026: Passing through Auxerre, we stumbled upon La Crêperie du Pont and weren't disappointed. The setting: A very pleasant location and a warm welcome that immediately puts you at ease. The food: The buckwheat galettes are delicious, perfectly crispy, and generously filled. The sweet crêpes for dessert were equally delicious, made with high-quality ingredients. The service: Efficient, friendly, and attentive, despite the crowds. An excellent place for a delicious break while visiting Auxerre. We highly recommend it!

From a smile upon arrival, to excellent cuisine for the main course, and a chef who circulated among the guests to ask for their feedback, finishing with a homemade dessert? The complimentary tea for digestion was also very good. What more could you ask for? In short, finally an address worth mentioning and promoting. Don't change a thing.

13/06/2026: Couscous restaurants have almost all become mediocre, with poor-quality meat and broth that's almost always too greasy. Le Cercle is an exception. A delight: quality and freshness! An exception not only in Auxerre and the Yonne region, but also nationally. For example, despite my extensive experience, I couldn't name a single North African restaurant in Paris or the Île-de-France region in general that's as good as Le Cercle. Warm welcome and fast service to boot. Bravo!
