01/05/2026: A magnificent inn and excellent service. The evening meal was superb, and Chef Francis was incredibly attentive, offering truly high-quality cuisine. A place to remember.

13/04/2026: Who in the Morvan region doesn't know the Auberge de l'Atre, a 3-star hotel and restaurant that I believe once held a Michelin star and still deserves one, provided one appreciates traditional French cuisine? It's there that Chef Salamolard has been working almost every day for what seems like forever. He is one of the greatest experts on Morvan mushrooms, surrounded by his staff. And let's not forget the impressive wine cellar, perfect for squab, Burgundy snails, and other delicacies. My wife fell in love with Mr. Salamolard's soufflés. If you'd like to meet him or visit him again, hurry, because he's increasingly talking about gradually retiring from the restaurant business.

15/05/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance... and what a surprise! It's best to make a reservation, but we were lucky. If you love cheese and Savoyard cuisine, you've come to the right place. In any case, we loved it. Good value for money. Attentive and friendly service; the waiter was really kind. The atmosphere is also great because the decor is truly original.

10/05/2026: Reservation made 30 minutes beforehand, completely at random. It was a lucky find! A lovely, well-appointed restaurant with a friendly manager – we felt right at home. The food was very good and reasonably priced. A very good restaurant.

24/09/2025: Lunch rating. Food 3* Service 5* Atmosphere 5* The canned food for lunch was a bit disappointing for us. A good wine selection and very friendly service in a pleasant atmosphere still make it a recommended stop.

04/05/2026: A team led by the very friendly Nico. The menus are generous and delicious. If you want to buy Chablis, don't do it in town; Nico will give you some great recommendations. In short, a place worth discovering.

29/04/2026: A very average experience. I chose this place for its terrace location... The food was mediocre, and the service was incredibly slow, leaving me feeling completely forgotten. Not very pleasant.

24/04/2026: The location is nice, opposite the cathedral. However, the waiters are unfriendly. Ordering an espresso at 11:15 seems like an impossible task. Other customers were asked to leave the terrace because they were serving lunch.

21/04/2026: Our experience at the restaurant was very positive. We ate in and were actually the only ones there, as they mainly do takeout. We each ordered a set menu, which was enough for us. The service was quite satisfactory. We had no complaints about the cleanliness. And the order was prepared carefully and quickly. We recommend it!

28/03/2026: My first experience at this restaurant, ordering takeout, was a truly pleasant surprise! I ordered a variety of dishes: hot, cold, raw, and cooked, and everything was excellent! I don't usually like the taste of ginger, but Shinsekai is THE ONLY restaurant where I've been able to actually enjoy it down to the last bite! 👍 It was a real first for me! I'm no expert, but both the taste and the freshness of the ingredients were truly excellent! Although it was takeout, the interaction with the staff was brief but friendly and pleasant! I highly recommend this establishment, and I will definitely be back! Long live Shinsekai! 👍👍👍😊

28/09/2025: I've been eating at this kebab shop for over 25 years because it's the best in my opinion! The meat is amazing and the portions are generous! The owner and his wife are always smiling... I only have one word: GO FOR IT!

10/04/2026: A restaurant I highly recommend! The owner is very welcoming and warm! The food is delicious and reminiscent of our grandmothers' cooking (especially the tomato sauce). We even enjoyed the terrace in the evening on a lovely square in Auxerre! Go without hesitation!

03/04/2026: A very nice cafe/restaurant with a "Tonton Flingueurs" (a French film series) atmosphere and a touch of French history. The homemade food is very good, with generous portions and fresh ingredients, all at a reasonable price. The owners were friendly and kind, taking the time to chat. Just 5 minutes from Guédelon. A good stop before or after your visit. In peak season, be sure to book ahead.

08/12/2025: Very nice hotel, comfortable room in a classic style, modern bathroom. The owner is very friendly. The restaurant isn't very large, but the meals are generous and the service is very good and quick. The breakfast is already plentiful and varied.
