06/04/2026: Review: Appalling Hygiene and Nonexistent Service – A Complete Disaster With 5 years of experience in restaurant service, I know that restaurants can have busy periods, but what I experienced here is pure and simple negligence. 1. Outrageous Hygiene The absolute "red card" goes to the restrooms. Between the women's restroom being out of order and the public restrooms being in a scandalous state, it's unacceptable. I found traces of gastroenteritis on the toilet bowl; with only two customers in the establishment, it's not a matter of foot traffic, but a complete neglect of cleaning. The bottom of the bowl is brown with limescale, and cobwebs are everywhere. It's repulsive. 2. A Neglected Dining Room From the moment you walk in, the smell of grease is omnipresent (a tip: ventilate the room or use a candle on the counter). The dining room is dirty, dusty, and the cobwebs show that the wolf's head burger hasn't been out of the closet for months. 3. Nonexistent service and cold food The burger arrived cold with a gray patty (no cooking request was made when ordering). The most absurd part? It was impossible to reheat it because there was no waitress in the dining room. There were only four of us, and yet, no one was there to take care of us, bring salt, or simply make sure everything was alright. Conclusion: We wanted to try this restaurant because our usual spot (Jimm's) was closed: this was a serious mistake. Between the amateurishness, the apparent laziness, and the filth, we left feeling like we were going to get sick. A radical overhaul is imperative, because the image it projects is simply shameful for the industry.

18/04/2026: I ordered the steak tartare, hand-cut to order. There's a choice of sides (fries or vegetables), which is nice. I chose the fries, and they looked homemade. They were good. The dessert was excellent. It's a shame, however, that the option to have it prepared or not isn't offered. The origin of the meat is also missing.

12/04/2026: Passing through the 15th arrondissement on a Saturday at lunchtime, we were pleasantly surprised to discover this charming spot. The welcome was warm, the waitresses attentive and smiling, which immediately put us at ease. The menu is varied and the dishes are delicious, prepared with care. A truly relaxing experience in a friendly and typically Provençal atmosphere. An address we wholeheartedly recommend.

10/05/2026: The hotel itself is charming and full of character, but unfortunately the dining experience fell far below expectations. We chose the tasting menu and ended up leaving multiple dishes unfinished — something that should raise questions in a Michelin-starred restaurant. Just to mention two examples, the asparagus sorbet was honestly terrible, and the trout course (which replaced the scallops listed on the menu, without anyone bothering to explain the change) was particularly underwhelming. Service was polite, though not especially attentive for this category: no bread plates, butter initially forgotten despite asking, and water bottles not refilled unless explicitly requested each time. On a positive note, the lavender and honey dessert was excellent, the bread very good, and the wine selection well curated. Overall, the gap between the reputation, the actual experience, and the price paid felt too large. A restaurant with such history and legacy deserves more consistency, and Michelin recognition should continue to be earned at the plate.

25/02/2026: Delicious Millefeuille! Vanilla and rum for me. Absolutely to my taste 🥰 The inverted puff pastry was beautifully golden, and the cream was deliciously rich yet light. Perfectly flavored. A wonderfully refreshing dessert! Other flavors are available for the millefeuille (Vanilla/Raspberry Vanilla/Rum Vanilla/Exotic (Rum) Chocolate Praline...). Also, other fantastic desserts: the Tatin! The Magnum Caramel! And delicious chocolates... I can't wait for Easter 🍫🐰 Well done and thank you, Cyril. See you soon!!!

16/05/2026: We were disappointed by our experience at this restaurant. Upon arrival, we were asked to wait until Antoni arrived to seat us at a table for two. We waited approximately 15 minutes before he finally came to tell us there were no tables available because we hadn't made a reservation. It would have been more respectful and professional to inform us of this from the outset to avoid this unnecessary wait. Unfortunately, neither the waiter nor the waitress at the entrance were friendly, and the bartender seemed particularly grumpy. The welcome and overall atmosphere were therefore neither warm nor pleasant. Note: It seems essential to make a reservation in advance if you wish to dine at this restaurant.

14/05/2026: The setting was warm and comfortable, thanks in part to the colorful furniture. The food was of good quality and varied, with a touch of originality. Our server, who didn't keep us waiting, was quite competent. A good experience, which we will repeat.

25/08/2025: We were warmly welcomed by the owner. This old-fashioned place reminds us of our grandmothers' homes and kitchens. A simple but very good meal. In short, an authentic place like few others left. Bravo!

16/03/2026: The food was decent but very expensive, even for a ski resort. The most disappointing aspect was the service. The day after our lunch, we returned for coffee. An employee told us it was fine and offered us a seat at the bar. The owner then arrived and curtly explained that we couldn't have a coffee without ordering food, practically throwing us out. This was very unpleasant behavior and completely at odds with the friendly reputation we had been told about. It's a shame; we won't be back.

28/04/2026: A very nice hotel in a prime location with a spacious outdoor area. We received a very friendly welcome. The room was very well-equipped with a brand-new bathroom. The breakfast was very plentiful, and all at a very reasonable price. We would gladly return.

25/04/2026: I was remembering what a wonderful little and charming hotel my husband and I had the chance to stay for a few days. From the comfortable rooms, great dining experience and a great location to travel around this stunning location. I would love to go back one day. I forgot to give the review, so doing it now. 09/05/2026: The welcome was very warm, and the staff were incredibly attentive to their guests. The meal was excellent, featuring the discovery of pieds paquets (stuffed trotters), a beautiful trolley of local cheeses, and desserts. The highlight was the Citadel room with its magnificent view. A big thank you! Perfect for motorcyclists.

13/04/2026: I generally never leave negative reviews... but given the lack of hospitality at this place, I'm making an exception. I wasn't able to sample the food at this restaurant. I was turned away at 1:25 PM, even though the hours stated they were open until 3:00 PM. A word to the wise: Luckily, I found a nice restaurant a little further away in Banon that welcomed me at 1:45 PM.
