06/12/2025: We were disappointed; the fried food was overcooked, the spring rolls were bland and tasteless, etc. It used to be much better. What a shame.

03/12/2025: The food itself is excellent, no complaints. We ate very well. However, this is our third visit, and we're always treated poorly. The current waitress is very unpleasant, never smiles. We hand her our plates, and she doesn't even look up or say thank you. The man at the wok station is even more unpleasant. We say hello, he doesn't respond, and just asks, "Which sauce?" without a smile. Good food is great, but it's a shame the staff's friendliness doesn't match. We don't willingly hand over our money. Luckily, the woman at the till is much friendlier and smiles, and she actually cares if we enjoyed our meal. Re-evaluate your customer service; you'll attract more customers!

04/11/2025: The service is great, but in summer or winter the number of tourists is absurd; the Choucas loses all its charm.

01/11/2025: We were "greeted" by a waitress who seemed to be the owner, who was absolutely unpleasant. She threw us out of the bar for no reason, without even letting us order anything. We were regulars at the bar and had previously been served by a young waiter who was absolutely lovely and professional; we already miss him…

12/01/2026: An hour and a half wait for frozen food is ridiculous... if we hadn't been forced to pay when we ordered, we would have left! The staff is completely lost, the food isn't good, and the wait is endless. All this for prices that are way too high! We also have to go to the bar to order, pay, and pick up our drinks, which isn't very practical when you only have two hands and there are more than two people at the table... What a shame.

01/01/2026: Absolutely avoid this place. I'm giving this establishment one star out of politeness. As a regular at this resort for thirty years, I've always supported local businesses. However, the new snack bar concept, where payment precedes consumption and drinks must be collected from the bar by the customer, results in constant back-and-forth trips to the table. The restaurant service is inefficiently organized. We experienced table assignment errors and order mix-ups. A wait of an hour and a half for two children's meals, when the establishment was far from full, is unacceptable. It seems the staff responsible for delivering the food lack training, as the order numbers didn't correspond to the tables, causing obvious confusion. In short, if you want to spend three hours on a mediocre meal made with frozen food, this is the place for you. It's regrettable that people with no experience in the restaurant industry are managing an establishment of this size (over 120 to 150 covers). I advise you to return to your original concept and prioritize a customer-centric approach. As for me, I will no longer spend a single penny at your establishment.

05/10/2025: Hello, we came this afternoon, small slate for the menu and well it was really very good, goat cheese salad, veal chop, beef tartare and rib steak, impeccable 👍. Thank you very much

24/09/2025: TV too loud, croissants not fresh. I understand better why it's rated poorly. It's up to you to make your own experience.

24/08/2025: We settled down for a drink under the beautiful late August sunshine, always well received and with fast service.

19/08/2025: Service, and especially the waitress was overwhelmed and unsmiling, making the customer wait, passing other customers... fortunately for them it's touristy... But the town is not worth the detour. The Valensole plateau is so beautiful with the lavender.

20/12/2025: Very disappointed. I called to book for 7 people and was refused, citing market day as a pretext of discrimination because they were elderly people. I clearly specified that the people were independent, and I was given to understand that the room would be full. We went ahead and the room was empty. Thank you for the empathy and respect; then you'll come crying that your businesses are empty.

21/08/2025: "Basically, we'll serve you." This is how the dashing young man serving on the terrace today, August 21st, reprimands the unruly customer who makes the effort to come to the bar to express concern—with a smile and tact—about the length of the service (more than 15 minutes for two measly espressos!). In short, "shut up, go sit down, and get your wallet out." You can also go elsewhere, believe me!
