06/03/2026: We received a warm welcome and the food was excellent. The set menu was satisfying, generous, and flavorful. However, we were not satisfied with the service: we ordered a beer and then a snack kit. One of the two beers was expired (12/2025), which we didn't mention, and our appetizers arrived at the same time as the beer. So, the appetizers were cold when the Kir arrived, whereas we would have preferred to take our time with the beer. And we barely finished our appetizers before the snack kit wasn't finished, and the main course arrived two minutes later. The dessert took a while to arrive. Otherwise, we were delighted.

The friendly, warm, and professional welcome; the precise yet relaxed service; the extraordinarily inventive cuisine, both in textures and flavors; and the wine pairings that enhance both. The only slight drawback (which doesn't deduct a star) is the slightly too loud music.

08/06/2026: We had a wonderful time celebrating our daughter's 18th birthday at this venue. The setting is superb, with the room opening onto the beach and the sea; no decorations were needed, everything was perfect. The catering was excellent, and the service was impeccable! Thank you for your warm welcome and for being so attentive; we are more than satisfied!

We ate deliciously, featuring traditional dishes like raclette, fondue, and bourguignonne, with generous portions and a fair price. The lady in the dining room (the owner, perhaps) was very kind and friendly with everyone... We'll definitely be back on our next vacation in France.

27/08/2025: At the beginning of summer, I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant with my family. The owner was very friendly, and we enjoyed a long chat with her during our visit. The menu looked absolutely delicious. Each dish featured local ingredients. I personally enjoyed a succulent goat cheese and honey salad with seasonal vegetables and goat cheese from a producer near Vals—it was divine. In short, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Vals; it's well worth the trip.
