01/06/2026: I was very disappointed by my experience at Villa Mermoz. I went there yesterday and was surprised by the complete lack of rules regarding customer attire and behavior. Seeing people keep their hats on at their tables in an establishment of this caliber is already regrettable, but what was most disturbing was the general lack of respect in the dining room: phones used with the volume at full blast, without any intervention from the staff. The atmosphere was severely degraded, and the meal lost all its enjoyment. It's a shame, because the setting could be much more pleasant with a minimum of courtesy and more attention paid to this matter by management.

He gave us a warm welcome, advised us with great professionalism, and helped us throughout our visit. Thanks to him, we had an excellent experience, and I will gladly return. 12/04/2026: For a restaurant near the Old Port, the prices are reasonable, the terrace is on a quiet side street, and the food is good, made with quality ingredients. The staff is truly welcoming and friendly; even the chef comes to chat and serve us. The lady who greeted us was very pleasant. I highly recommend it. When we return to Marseille—and we will return—we will definitely go back. Thank you to the whole team!

22/12/2025: A dream location (or a place of perdition) to discover the true atmosphere of an Estaque bistro. From the moment you walk in, you feel the authenticity, you hear the authenticity, you see the authenticity… Water ticks? No! Not NATO ticks, either! Authentic, the REAL! The PURE! The TOUGH! The one from back home! Back home? Yes, the one from the place where you're not necessarily accepted immediately, not the first time, but where you feel comfortable quite quickly. Where you want to sit down, chat a bit, then stay a while. And then come back. Often.

05/06/2026: They could have prioritized the customer who asked to eat in ten minutes and only ordered a salad and a kebab. It was good, but I ate very late.

16/05/2026: We were just passing through and appreciated the warm welcome. The gentleman was exceptionally kind, the kindest I've ever seen. The place was spotless and the grilled food was simply excellent. The meat was truly delicious and fresh, and the homemade fries were amazing. Thank you for the hospitality; I highly recommend it.
