16/02/2026: A warm welcome, the servers are very friendly, and the pizzas are delicious. We were a group of eight, seated in a cozy little corner, upstairs to the right of the stairs. Perfect for a small get-together with friends. I recommend it.

To top it all off, the staff were exceptionally kind! The team went out of their way to offer us a complete menu that fit our budget. Great welcome, the chef is very nice, everything is delicious whether it's the beef skewers, the miso soup, the fried chicken, the fish... Bonus: I really like the subdued lighting and the calm atmosphere with little lofi music playing. bottom !

Dishes are prepared with care and passion, and above all, with quality ingredients—a real treat. It's one of my favorite restaurants in Marseille. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive.

06/02/2026: We came last Saturday. What a wonderful time we had! An exceptional meal: a trilogy of fish, tripe and trotters, etc.—truly delicious, flavorful and generous cuisine. The desserts were also outstanding. The gourmet coffee was incredible. In short, you can order here with your eyes closed; everything is good, judging by the plates of your neighbors. The service was impeccable, with smiles and kindness, and explanations of each dish. The setting is very pleasant, the terrace and tables are well arranged. The prices are very reasonable and not at all excessive. All this on the Old Port with a view of the beautiful sea. What more could you ask for?! I can't wait to come back to try the rest of the menu. If you want to taste good Provençal cuisine made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, you've come to the right place. 04/02/2026: A wonderful experience at Chez Madie! We were a lovely, impromptu group, yet we received an incredibly warm welcome from the owner. The chef surprised us with some delightful culinary delights, and the service was impeccable thanks to the very friendly and handsome maître d'hôtel 😉 Highly recommended!

21/02/2026: Despite arriving late, just before closing time, we received a warm welcome. The daily oven-baked dish was truly delicious: three-cheese ravioli au gratin. The Margherita pizza was also very good. The portions were generous, enough to leave us satisfied with just dessert with the bill, all topped off with a smile from the waitress and the owners busy at work in front of the large wood-fired oven. Not forgetting the complimentary grappa to aid digestion and fuel us for exploring Marseille on foot. An experience to repeat, this restaurant is located about fifty meters from the Old Port, very close to Marseille's City Hall and at the foot of the famous Panier district.

You can tell that everything is done with care and passion. Special mention to Nathalie, who was simply lovely: attentive, caring, smiling, and incredibly kind. Her welcome and service really made all the difference and made the experience even more enjoyable. I recommend it 100% and I will definitely be back!
