31/05/2026: Avoid this place… it's far too expensive for what you get on your plate. The dishes are bland and clearly lack seasoning. The meats are simply grilled, the sauce is nothing special, and the side dishes are mediocre. The service is disastrous and completely unprofessional. We were rushed at the start; three people came by within two minutes to check if we had taken our order. Then, before we had even finished our appetizers, the main courses arrived, and with a significant gap between them. I received my dish first, and then the rest arrived 10 minutes later. The "barbecue experience" is clearly overrated; the meats are of poor quality, and there's absolutely no effort put into it. I definitely do not recommend it, and we will not be returning.

05/06/2026: We came on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, as part of a group trip. We exchanged a lot of emails before making a firm reservation for 37 people. Communication was easy, and we were able to easily adapt some dishes for certain guests. On the day, we received a very warm welcome in a lovely atmosphere, with smiles throughout the service. The meal was excellent, with very tender meats and generous portions. All the staff were incredibly attentive to the needs of these 37 elderly guests. We are delighted with this restaurant, which deserves to be better known. A big thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of this special day for 37 people from Isère. And as an added bonus, the restaurant is located right opposite the departure point for the little train that takes you on a tour of Marseille.

14/04/2026: I was served by Inaya, I believe, a wonderful waitress who was always smiling, meticulous in preparing orders, and made sure the customer was comfortable. Beyond that, the dining room was clean despite it being the end of service. I highly recommend it.

14/05/2026: I would give 6 stars if I could! We ate at this restaurant today and absolutely loved it! The food was delicious and authentic, but what stood out most was the incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful service. It has definitely become one of my favorite local spots in Marseille. I also highly recommend trying the homemade rum — especially the “Bull Blood” rum, which was amazing, though very spicy. We will definitely be back!

06/05/2026: You'd expect a great beer selection with a name like that! Well, no! For example, the only beer you can get is 1664 at €5 for 25cl 🙃 And a martini? €8! There's absolutely no service. Customers have to walk from the terrace all the way inside to order and pick up their food, they even clear their own tables, and the glasses are just cheap plastic cups… We're giving it 3 stars for the food because the pizzas were good! We'll definitely be giving it another go, or maybe we'll bring a picnic next time.

08/05/2026: just stopped in for a quick non-alcoholic beer, inside was very cute and nice tables outside on the street with the tram whizzing past on a big leafy avenue right on a corner. Very pleasant for just a quick sit but they have food too if you are hungry.

We discovered the tasting menu with wine pairings, a wonderful gift we received for our wedding anniversary. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel at ease with their simplicity and professionalism. Each dish was explained to us with passion, taking their time and never rushing or pressuring us, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The meal was excellent from start to finish, refined and full of delightful discoveries. A lovely, discreet touch awaited us at the end of the meal for our wedding anniversary… exactly what we love! And what can we say about that magical view of Marseille… we never tire of it. A truly wonderful restaurant that we wholeheartedly recommend. See you soon!

The service was delightful from beginning to end, with discreet and particularly appreciated attention to detail, especially for a birthday celebration, which made the moment even more special. Thank you! The dishes are expertly prepared, refined, and a pleasure to eat, with meticulous cuisine that beautifully showcases the ingredients. The view of the port of Marseille is simply magnificent and fully contributes to the charm of the place. Another real plus in Marseille: the option to park directly in the Sofitel's underground parking garage. This is extremely convenient and makes it easy to come, even just to enjoy a meal without the hassle of parking. We highly recommend it and will gladly return.

03/03/2026: Too lazy to cook when we got home at 9:00 PM, we were initially planning on getting takeout, but in the end, we sat down to eat in. I had one chicken curry with eggplant, which was delicious; my daughter had one chicken massaman, which was also delicious; and Luca had one beef red curry, which was a third delicious meal... I highly recommend this little restaurant, it's very good. And everything was served with a smile. We'll definitely be back! My son didn't know where to eat last night with his friend, so guess where he went? L'ExpressThaï! 👍👍
