19/03/2026: My colleague and I stopped here during our business trip. We received a very warm welcome. The owner is very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The restaurant menu is simple yet effective. They serve well-prepared and attractively presented local products. The portions are generous. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well-appointed, as are the bathrooms. The peaceful setting and the surrounding area, offering many walking trails, make it an ideal location for a stopover during your travels or for a romantic weekend getaway. P.S.: Thank you for the hot water bottle!

28/02/2026: We spent three wonderful days on holiday with my children. Christine is a true sweetheart: kind, attentive to her guests, helpful, and punctual. The room is very spacious, comfortable, and perfectly clean—nothing to complain about! The restaurant is very good. We will gladly return. A big thank you also to Françoise and Sylvestre for their professionalism and friendliness. A big thank you to all three of you.

09/09/2025: We happened to be passing by and were quite disappointed with the meal. The salmon was far too overcooked and lacked any real preparation. We were hoping for an improvement with dessert, but no such luck. I'm not much of a cook, but I'm sure I could do much better.

09/09/2025: Cheap, OK, but... for the same price, anyone could do better. No choice of dishes! OK, but what was offered was inedible, or nearly so (we were starving). Two large ladles of rice to fill us up, accompanied by three slices of zucchini and a piece of overcooked salmon. Dessert? Instead of crème brûlée, I got warm custard with sugar. The only positive was the excellent local cheese. What a shame, we would have enjoyed it so much more with real bread! Sorry, but out of a week of eating out for lunch and dinner in half of France, you will remain our worst memory.

17/04/2026: The bar is well located, but the owner violently assaulted the waiter in an excessive and violent manner, right in the middle of the terrace.

08/04/2026: We arrived around 11 am for a drink and a pastry. The very friendly waitress told us they were out of pastries, probably only available on weekends, which was a shame. But luckily she offered us crepes or waffles! The crepe was good, nothing special. The terrace is very pleasant, bathed in sunshine. It's a pity that around noon, a waiter asked us to vacate the table for his lunch service when we would have liked to stay a few minutes longer.

14/11/2025: If I had had the foresight to read the reviews beforehand, we wouldn't have been ripped off... Well, we learn the hard way... Basic room. Decent bedding. Bathroom Open to the bedroom. Be careful not to splash water on the bed you're going to sleep on. Curtains half-closed... Extra pillows without pillowcases. The person who greeted us was very nice. The evening meal was basic...for 20 euros, you'd expect better. The bill wasn't sent to my email. However, my credit card was charged for an amount they had trouble justifying. In short, I received a refund of 21 euros...and they still kept 20 euros for two breakfasts included in the room price, according to the person who greeted us. In short, a hotel to AVOID!!!!

22/04/2026: A very well-located establishment, tastefully decorated, with a patio that makes you forget you're in the city, a large dining room, and a special mention for the wood-paneled back room, which could be a listed historical monument... The meal was very enjoyable, with excellent wines; just look at the magnificent wine cellar and you'll understand their extensive selection. Don't miss the high-quality sirloin steak, cooked to perfection, served with truffade and a truly divine Bleu d'Auvergne sauce. The servers are attentive and very helpful. In short, everything was perfect. Thank you, we were just passing through on vacation, and we will be back.

12/04/2026: Passing through Aurillac, I stopped at Brasserie Aurillac. The welcome was warm and friendly, and I was comfortably seated. A young woman with blue eyes took care of us professionally and with a lovely smile throughout our meal. We thoroughly enjoyed it; a very young and dynamic team. Well done to these young people, keep it up!

04/04/2026: One star less because I couldn't get any couscous. Otherwise, the kebabs and tacos were very much enjoyed by the whole family.
