18/08/2026: My son and I had a wonderful time. We ordered tuna takati and a pork chop, both served with new potatoes. Delicious! For dessert, we had floating island and a slice of lightly toasted brioche topped with vanilla ice cream: equally delicious. The waitress was also lovely and the atmosphere very pleasant. Thank you so much for the warm welcome!

12/08/2026: We discovered this lovely and charming restaurant on a sweltering evening, experiencing all the hardships that entails for professionals! Despite these conditions, every dish served was impeccable, with a little something extra in the light, simply delicious sauces... too often overlooked in favor of bland emulsions. This is an establishment we will gladly return to at a more pleasant time of year!

07/09/2026: We had a wonderful time at Domaine de Brise Bois in Rouzède, celebrating our 20th anniversary as a company (HTB SARL). It's the perfect venue for a private event, with an absolutely stunning setting and a very pleasant atmosphere. The estate is very well-equipped and perfectly suited for hosting events with complete peace of mind. Everything is in place for an unforgettable experience in a magnificent setting. We highly recommend this venue!

28/08/2026: Beautiful and peaceful setting. The cottages are very clean and very well equipped. The owners are fantastic. They live on-site but are not at all intrusive. We'd love to come back!

13/08/2026: We sat outside on a baking hot day, which was lovely but not cool! Madame is completely charming but the waitress was surly and unsmiling. Food was pretty good but unremarkable. Drinks were cold which was fabulous! The situation in the square is lovely though. It’s a good stop off in Ruffec.

28/07/2026: Honestly, I almost never leave reviews, but this time I HAD to! It had been years since I'd eaten such a good burger with such a perfect balance of quality and price. The bun, the meat, the ingredients... everything is perfectly balanced, and you can immediately tell the products are high quality. The homemade fries are amazing, crispy on the outside, melt-in-your-mouth on the inside—a real treat! The value for money is completely unbeatable! For this level of quality, it's simply incredible. A special mention goes to the owner, with whom I had the pleasure of speaking on the phone. She's incredibly kind, funny, caring, and truly attentive. It's so refreshing to see business owners who put so much heart into their work. This is exactly the kind of restaurant that deserves to be known and supported. I recommend it 1000% without hesitation! For me, it's decided, I won't order my burgers anywhere else. If you're in Angoulême and still hesitating, go for it, you won't regret it! I would have loved to take pictures, but I couldn't resist devouring this meal :)

Their new terrace is absolutely stunning, and the atmosphere is fantastic. I tried their pizzas, and they were simply delicious. Special mention also goes to the overall ambiance: smiling customers, a relaxed atmosphere, and even a pétanque court for those who enjoy it. As a professional who had the opportunity to contribute a little to the place, I was touched by their kindness and passion. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
