Each room is tastefully decorated, unique, and different, which adds a great deal of charm to the place. But above all, the human interaction was particularly pleasant, sincere, and genuine. A meeting that will leave as lasting an impression as the stay itself.

28/12/2025: On the recommendation of one of our campers, four of us dined here. We had a delicious meal. One of the guests was vegetarian, and they even catered to that. This restaurant, located opposite Confolens train station, looks nice from the outside. When you enter, you're a bit startled (as a Dutch person) by the fluorescent lighting, but you can sit comfortably in the back. The food is really worth it, especially for the price! The service is attentive and friendly, the music playlist is often to my liking—in short, always a good time. The terrace is also worth trying in the warmer months; it's very inviting. Whether it's the calzone, regina, salmon, or beef and carrots, these pizzas are top-notch. The half-pizza menu with a drink and gourmet coffee is also a great idea. Reservations are recommended.

There was no waiting between courses; the gentleman who served us was single-handedly handling both the service and the kitchen. The portions were generous and catered for to everyone's preferences. And all this with a big smile! Thank you so much for this wonderful welcome and meal. I recommend this establishment 300%! And what's more, the gentleman is a photographer specializing in fine dining! 😉

08/03/2026: We had lunch at Le Briaud last Friday and were served a seafood risotto. We highly recommend this establishment for the kindness of its owners and staff. A special mention goes to the chef for the quality and generous portions of the food.

13/02/2026: It's a useful solution from time to time. I do feel sorry for the employees who have to put up with the constant background noise (is it coming from the refrigerators?) all day.
